What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Though since he is a loyal friend, he has many that help him out of the holes he digs for himself. Personality: Hmmm....lets see, the easiest way to describe Kris is loyal but secretive. When everyone decorates the tree, he finds his own corner (and for some reason gets a little...wrapped up! man I need to think of better jokes... ).
When everyone wraps presents, Kris likes to find his own table. He is always very generous, he will usually insist on giving things rather than taking them and always help others who truly need it no matter what his situation. Very patient and understanding, though he wont take any insults from anyone, he isn't the particularly jokey type and dislikes corny jokes but in a way can be rather comical even though he probably doesn't mean it. Kris does see the amusing side of a situation though he wont always show it. he wont fight unless he really must but walks away instead. He can be firm but gentle, sensible, and kind...and that is the best I can describe of him.

Personality: So... I've been told that I can be a little ... what do you call it? ... over board when it comes to events. Which I'm perfectly okay with if I must say so myself, it makes you stand out more and who doesn't love to be center of attention right? I mean - look at me - I've covered myself in Christmas lights, how can you get even more fun with that?! I think if I had to describe myself with one word it would have to be. Wanted? I guess. I kind of just seem like a normal horse under these lights, there's really nothing special that makes me stand out, not even my amazing eyes. I guess this is just my way of bringing who I want to be out. But don't tell anyone that okay? That's just between me and you, so hush hush. My god, what else could I say about myself .... you know that this is so easy for others and I don't know how they do it, it just seems so impossible right now. I mean; I've already opened up as much as I could, what do you want from me, who I'm looking for in a lover? HA! Please, like anyone would want someone like me. Okay. Okay. Enver has always been quite a hyper and excitable young stallion, running around, dashing forward in bursts of energy whenever he felt like it. More often than not he never much pays attention to where he is going when he sprints, looking in every which direction except the one he is going. It's always a joy watching him sprint around the pastures, when he was young he often crashed into other foals. Many visitors call him clumsy, with four left feet but Enver is actually as far from clumsy as most Khims. In the arena he is quite the smooth and gentle mount, more grace than you would ever think if you saw him in the pasture. During holidays we often have to put him in his stall when applying decorations or he may crash into you and the very ladder you stand on, a rule we made after the first incident, Luckily nobody was hurt and it's a great laugh on the holidays. Even after the decorations are set, at least once every year we will find Enver somehow tangled up in decorations, most commonly in Christmas lights. We've even made him his own little blanket with LED Christmas lights for the Holiday months.
