There is an endless cycle that exists within us all, one that determines who we are, what we will do, and what we will become. Some call it fate or destiny, but others know the truth. Heart, Soul, and Mind. The essense of all of us, the things that create what we are.
The cycle flows in a specific way. One aspect may be stronger than the others and that will determined what we are like. If one has a stronger heart, they are typically more shy and reclusive, but can be very caring. Their judgments usually don't have the best reasoning behind them and they typically do things on a whim. Those with a stronger soul are strong in action. They are typically courageous and almost ruthless, acting to get their way, but only with the best of intentions. While they may seem cruel they only work to help things in the way they believe would work. Those with a strong mind are rational. They react more intellectually and almost appear stoic constantly as they wait to respond to every situation until they have found a rational answer. This is how everyone is identified, how we become what we are.

Tihn is a very thoughtful kalon who takes everything very seriously, meaning that sarcasm doesn't exactly work on him. He studied the essense of life, what makes us who we are, and when he discovered the three elements of our essense, he began to carry a journal around. On each page he would create a rough sketch of the kalon, identify which aspect was the strongest, and write further information about them. When faced with a challeng or trial he does not act promptly but instead takes his time, stalling and thinking as he processes what is happening and works to find the best solution.
In Tihns studies, he is one of strong Mind. He seeks knowledge over strength and spends a vast magority of his time studying various books. He is not very adventurous or daring, but won't hesitate to act if there is something he needs. He isn't a coward, but he does show courage in different ways. While one may face a cliff and grin in excitement, he would simply gaze at it in stoic silence before turning away. He does not fear easily as he knows many things but can be caught off guard at times, though it is rare for his expression to betray his inner thoughts.

With strangers he is very eager to speak to them, so much so that it might even startle them. He quickly talks to them, asking them about themselves while sketching them. His fast pace can be startling, but once he calms down he is a very down to earth fellow. He's very selfless and rarely every speaks of himself, which often means that he will forget to state his name if not asked. Still, he is good company and to those who can see past his stoic expression they will find someone who is a strong ally and an even stronger friend.

|The good|

Enthusiastic ~ Perfectionist ~ Observant

Kearn is indeed very Enthusiastic but only with things that he enjoys or finds worthwhile to his time. He's great at cheering on those he likes and will always be seen attempting to make his friends succeed of that's what he desires. He'll do anything he can to make sure they will either win or put them as close to winning as possibly. Key is very people orientated upon knowing the person, prior to that, he isn't the nicest Kalon. “Oi, I'm certainly not a horrible person, don't listen to her, she's crazy. I'm a sweet, loveable,” -Laughs loudly- “okay I'm not any of that but I'm not horrible. Just takes me a while to warm up.”

Key “Shut up Human.” is a Perfectionist at its best. Things must be done perfect the first time round or not done at all. This causes a lot of problems between his friends sometimes as he doesn't like to let people do his jobs or anything for him simply because he doesn't feel they are good enough. “Not that I think my friends aren't good enough, simply because sometimes I feel that I'll just end up having to do it anyway, I may as well just do it myself first thing.” This does not stop Key from asking for help, just when his friends agree, he agrees with them the whole way through. “This human is l full of lies… Well, it's mostly true, I can get frustrated with my friends.”

Kearn is very in tune with the things around him, he's constantly obsessing over his surroundings. He is always watching the world go by, even if it isn't directly related to him. To be Observant is really an understatement, he is always more fixated with everything. Key is always assessing his situation to begin with, then again a few times throughout what hes doing. He seems paranoid to some, stalkerish to others. “Just to be clear, I'm not a stalker, I just have problems accepting the fact that not everyonea out to eat my soul or suck on my flesh.” That's just gross Key. -Mumbled growl- Kearn is fine once he knows his surroundings and anyone who's nearby him but will still keep checking, just less often. He reads things well, needing to know all details of books, articles and is great at what he does. “Oh Shucks. I like being told I'm a good editor.”

|The Bad|
Argumentative ~ Dishonest ~ Secretive

Kearn isnt all sunshine as I hope you've seen by now. This Kalon is without a doubt someone who enjoys having an argument, often starting one for no reason, pulling peoples anger out of them just so he can have his fun of a fight. Key has had more black eyes than I can remember, broken bones and been dragged back by the authority. He is a troublemaker ro say the least, getting a kick from arguing with anyone. “Oi, Miss Boo. You really don't get it. It pick my fights to prove everyone has some bad in them. They'll always hit first, they'll always yell first. I just talk until that point happens.” Yeah cause that makes you a good person. It doesn't make any difference, you enjoy picking arguments, reasoned or not reasoned. Your reason though, Not a reason.

Sadly even Kearn's friends have to be careful when believing his words, though typically his dishonest behaviour is only extended to those he doesn't know, he does not fear telling his friends something far from the truth, be it a lie to help them feel better or a lie to keep them from questioning his actions, words or decisions. “I sometimes hate lying to my pals, Sometimes, but it's often needed. Because of how I am, I cannot help but feel the need that they cannot be trusted with some of the things I have to say or do.” Its okay, Key, feeling bad sometimes is a good thing i guess. They’ll learn more about your secretive side soon when we tell them a little about your history.

This side of Key has probably been noted in all his other Personality traits but I thought I should bring up probably one of his biggest bad traits. His secretive attitude. He believes that no one around him should know what's going on. He thinks that no one cares about his problems so keeps them hidden, keeps his plans hidden, his actions a secret and over all hides his life behind shadows. This is simply him “I'm sorry to all my friends reading this. I do not mean to keep them from you. Well I do but…” Key please stop digging yourself a deeper grave. He doesn't hide everything but the things he shares often arent the worst of what's happening, so you can often expect worse if he tells you something bad. “Im working on opening up.”

|The Ugly|
Misandry ~ Nightmare disorder

Due to his past, Kearn dislikes males, it's a fact that he isn't scared of them or anything like that, simply he trusts them a lot less than everyone else. He feels threatened by their presence and cannot stay to be around most males. “I know. What a feminist thing to say. I've heard this before, I'm sorry that i don't like men.” He simply doesn't trust most males. He will go out of his way to avoid them. He may make friends with them when he feels they’ve earnt his trust “Which is pretty much never.” but he will still be cautious of his friends. “I’m also very protective of my friends, If i feel unsafe, i often assess the male figure and attempt to talk said friend from them but i cannot always protect them.”

Kearn suffers from Nightmare Disorder, also knows a Dream anxiety disorder, this simply means that nightmares happen very often, usually every night. Once a nightmare happens, Key struggles to fall back asleep due to fear of another nightmare, he often screams out, waking up covered in sweat. Its much like a normal anxiety but happens when he is asleep. He has attempted a lot of methods to help calm, some working, some not “Nothing is ever permanent though, often calming down for a week before returning just as bad. It means for lack sleep, putting me often on edge, which i guess could be a reason for a lot of my problematic traits.” Shush Key, you are mean on your own. “Ouch, that hurts.

personality; Shorin is a huge grump grump, he dislikes talking or interacting to others. He is trusting and no matter what he wont go back on his word. He has friends but they are not close and he keeps an emotional separation with others he knows.

Zanri thinks he's a tough guy but all he really is, is a little fluff ball.
He refuses to cut his hair because he absolutely hates showing his eyes
since they're practically a weakness when people stare into them and it's
really easy to tell his emotions with his eyes. He gets all flustered when
that happens. Also, he believes his long hair makes him look tough although
it really doesn't. Zanri is honestly usually a Debbie Downer because he thinks
of the worst case scenario possible when he's either in trouble, meaning that
he worries a lot when there's absolutely nothing to worry about. He can make
anything seem like there was a crime committed right then and there.

But, surprisingly, that doesnt interfere with his job. Zanri explores areas with little
information on them and charts down any type of plant or animal that's unknown.
Even though it can be a dangerous job, he actually loves it because it allows him
to take extra precaution of his whereabouts and his situations. If he were to be
bitten by an insect or something, he'd take immediate treatment. Before drinking
water, he'd be sure to boil it to kill any diseases. His personality is actually really
great for where he works, but the only problem is that he'd try and stand up to
an animal bigger than him, and boom. Possible death.

It is difficult to get Marisa to talk, and much more difficult to bargain with her. Very stubborn for a merchant, she's only willing to accept the best of offers for her seemingly strange trinkets of sorts, and not willing to haggle even for a penny lower; some say she's very greedy. A generally stoic kalon, she rarely ever expresses much and isn't thought of as trustworthy, mainly for all those strange things that she may have or not stolen. Needless to say, most of that is indeed true.

While on the outside world she may be a mysterious merchant that isn't particularly expressive, place her with her "friends" and she is a different kalon. While quiet as a mouse to outsiders, she is often much more outgoing to them and much more expressive than normal. A cunning thief, she steals things for a living and has hardly any regrets for stealing and then sells them for a higher price than she would be able to sell via the mainland. Her high prices are not a result of greed; rather the extra money is shared around her group of friends who are also part of a mafia like she is.

Marisa often has an affinity in strange trinkets, in which she collects the pieces she considers of the "best quality". Even when she was little, she would steal things often getting caught and scolded, but never understood how it was wrong. Over the years, she has gotten quite good at it as she often pick-pockets anyone that has a item of interest. If you do catch her, she'll just shrug it off and return it.

She is a part of the local mafia, in which they do things to maximize profit, even if it's illegal. She is very good at hiding this, as no one would have suspected a mafia amongst the midst.

Mysterious merchant by day, pickpocket thief of the mafia by night. It is impossible to get the truth out of her as a outsider, and will not care for what anyone says about her on the surface.
