Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. This bab was given up to us by a family of 3, who claimed that this dog was a mess and needed to go somewhere else. We didn't understand at the time that this dog was the MASTER OF MESSES. Fortunately, its mostly because of the lack of energy draining activities so we just played with them.

The biggest mess I made? Well it would have to be when I was playing in the mud! I ran around the whole yard, and into the house, trailing mud and dirt, and I had a prize bird I just caught in my mouth! As I dropped the bird at my owners feet, I looked behind myself to see the mess I made, and the bird made quite a mess too, as it's crimson juice (Blood) and feathers had scattered all over the place. I also noticed that I might've knocked over the fish tank, full of water. Oops. I kinda got yelled at after that, and my owner cleaned it up. It was fun though.

When Holly was still a young pup, living with her old family,
she would always take the daily newspapers and shred them
behind a big blackberry bush. Her owners thought that they
were just having problems with the newspaper delivery, and
had made many angry phone calls asking why they never got
their papers. One night, there was a massive wind storm that
blew all of the shredded newspaper scraps all over the yard.
The family was in dismay that such an innocent little puppy
like Holly could ever do such a thing. They spent all day trying
to clean up the mess that she made.

Well, it must have been the time he got into that big potted plant. He managed to knock the thing over, dumping dirt all over the floor, then proceeded to rip apart the plant as well. Good thing it was non poisonous!

Biggest Mess?:
Well, her previous owners had put her in the garage one time, mainly because the family was going out and couldn't imagine what Alice would do at home, but it was a terrible mistake. The family kept all sorts of things in the garage, but they must have forgotten that many things laid in there, because if they did, they'd probably leave Alice in the backyard instead. Anyways, Alice was getting bored as she sat in one of the dusty corners, and all the boxes looked pretty fun to knock over. She stood up and jumped right into one of the boxes, letting all sorts of things either fly out of get crushed under the mixed breed. Alice was having a ton of fun playing with everything, she continued to make the garage a total mess. The family came home after about 2 hours, and were completely shocked at what the energetic dog did. Boxes were scattered across the floor, paper was teared up and flowing out of the knocked over trash cans, that were now half destroyed. As the family gave Alice an angry looked, she finally understood that she shouldn't have done that. The white and black dog whimpered, but the family sighed, and a few days later, she sadly ended up in the shelter. Poor Alice. She was just bored.

Biggest Mess?: Well... Um.. the biggest mess timber made was probably when she "painted" the house. There were some partially empty paint buckets lying around while Timber's owner was away. So she decided to dip her muzzle and feet in and paint away. The only colors available were brown and green so that's what she chose. Timber walked around pressing her muzzle everywhere and leaving a trail. Timber took the opportunity to redo the entire house. She pawed at the walls and stood on the furniture, but dare she touch her owners bed. She left mixes of green and brown on the couch, her bed, and on the television. When her owners got home well.. they had a panic attack. But Timber was there to greet them and smile.
