how they got it;;
Kozmotis got her nickname fairly early in life. She has always had an interest in birds, and quickly took up bird watching in her free time. After studying Ornithology, she opened up an aviary of her own and began breeding and selling her own birds. ‘Lark’ became a common name from her customers, who would often see and hear her singing with her birds. The name ‘Lark’ coming from a small songbird oh which was common in the area she grew up in, and the name stuck.

Lark spends her free time bird watching and perfecting her whistles and chirps, and is known by her friends as ‘the crazy bird lady’ as well as ‘the bird whisperer’, both of which Lark takes as complements. Though she does enjoy solving crossword puzzles and sketching birds in her journals. (138)

"Come on Vin!!"
We ran across the moon lit beach waving sparklers in the air. Such a warm night it was.
The night sky seemed to sparkle with the moon at its fullest and the stars at there brightest.
The campfire crackled as we settled down.
Suddenly the bushes beside the rocky cliff behind us started to shake.
A girl popped her out and came running yelling "Vin Vin!!"
I stared at her for a moment and noticed it was one of my friends sisters,
the friend happened to
be there that night and was astonished that her sister followed us out here.
The others there started calling me Vin Vin. Soon it just turned into habit.

Despite, or perhaps because of, his laid-back nature,
Damaris won the epithet "Leeroy" as a result of his
habit of just going for things. When things get rough -
there's a time limit to fulfill or he has to make a
difficult choice - instead of taking a few moments to
think about his options, he chooses to tackle the
problem in the most direct and expeditious way that he
knows how... which is probably not the best decision for
a guy who constantly underestimates his own strength.

He just can't handle pressure very well and it's like his
brain decides to take a little vacation and his instincts
take the wheel. Due to this, he's accidentally broken his
leg twice, broken other people's legs thrice, and is a
notorious impulse buyer. He always feels really bad about
any messes he makes, though, so he makes sure to try
and offer to help clean up or pay bills. Not everything
that he's done is negative, however. Oftentimes, he'll
reveal his sweet side in conversations, or when he will
decide to randomly help someone out who's on the side
of the road, or give a hug to someone who looks like
they're having a rough day, even if he doesn't know 'em.

They don't call him Leeroy all the time; it's reserved for
those special moments when their gentle friend becomes
so overwhelmed that he just stops thinking and acts.

First instance: "Hey Damaris, there's no need to worry.
I admit that taking you out driving during rush hour
was a bad choice for your first time, but maybe we
should just pull over and switch sea- Oh my Gosh!
What are yo-ahHHH!!! Oh we're alive. Oh my heart.
Who do you think you are anyway? Leeroy Jenkins?"

One day, Cyan was with her close friends messing around in a garden. Cyan, being the party pooper she was, thought they should go. Of course they refused so she soon she found herself lecturing them about safety and insisting they go. When they were about to head out she heard one of her friends squeal, "The orchids are in bloom,"everyone rushed over including Cyan. They huddled around the tiny pink and white buds that were beginning to open, a single flower was opened. Cyan poked the petal and stared at it in awe. "There beautiful" she said and looked at her friends. They giggled and looked at her, Cyan felt awkward and looked away. "Orchid" they each said and looked at her. "Orchid?" she said questionably. One of the friends dug up the flower and gave it to Cyan. She smiled and said with excitement, "I love you guys." "We know you do, orchid."

how they got it (500 word limit);; Mara is a very hyper Kalon, she rarely sleeps, never gets tired and loves having fun!! At the end of the day everyone is exhausted except Mara so her friends started calling her gatorade!

There's no doubt that Mazie gives her friends some pretty weird nicknames.The reason behind this one is even weirder.William has never been a fan of dogs.He may even have a slight fear of them to some extent.He adores cats however,and could probably classify as the male version of a crazy cat lady. Mazie of course has never and would never force him to pet or be around a dog,but she does find it funny the reaction he has when he does happen to be near one.He tenses up,but he looks like a cat when he does it.His fur gets all fluffed up and sometimes he hisses.He's got a lot of cat like qualities in general.Like hissing when he's mad,fluffing up when he's scared,etc.A tad ironic when one considers the nickname. Mazie gave him this nickname at first mainly because it annoyed him,then it just grew on her over time.He still doesn't like the name to this day,but he lets her call him that.Though she's the only one allowed to get away with it,anyone else tries and he hisses at them.
