What do you mean: Neah it's 1 in the morning and hardly the 16th? I don't care. I will die with my bad habits. Also, they call these cats 'potatoes on toothpicks' isn't that hilarious.

This darling with it's big, beautiful eyes was surrendered to us by a couple who had to move and couldn't take it with them. They were upset that they had to surrender this rare beauty but know that re-homing it is the best for everyone involved. This pretty cat is very dog-like in it's mannerisms, which of course to be expected of the breed. It even have the capacity to learn a few tricks if you wish for it to. Of course, this beauty is in search of a home over everything. Hopefully one of you can provide it.

Alright. Chartreux cat's are named very specifically. All cat's born on a certain year are named with a certain letter of the alphabet, omitting the letters K, Q, W, X, Y and Z. This year that letter is M.

So for this comp I have two requirements:
The name must start with M and I want a pretty picture of their place of origin: France.

- Christmas!
Marie-Joie always enjoyed the Christmas season. Her family have a large tree, and decorate it with amazing baubles and tinsel. She always liked trying to climb up it without knocking the baubles off, thinking it as a game.
- Winter in general
Despite hating snow, Marie-Joie loves winter. Her family stay home and shower her with attention, especially when snowed in. She gets loved on, treats from the kids, its a wonderful time for her.
- New people
Marie-Joie finds new people interesting and strange, so she tends to rub up by them so she can see if she can get loves from them too.
- Being taught tricks
Marie-Joie is a very smart cat. Her past home had trained her alongside the neighbors dogs, so she knows the basics, as well as a couple special tricks such as balancing on a ball and sitting on someone's shoulders.

Dislikes
- Being called by a nickname
Don't you dare only call her Marie! Marie-Joie will not respond to you if you call her by either Marie or Joie, you have to say her full name.
- Being ignored
Marie-Joie always needs to be in the spotlight. She strives to be centre of attention 24/7, and will become pouty if no one at least pets her.
- Rain/Baths
Nope, nope, nope! This kitty hates the water! She loves drinking it, but baths and rain make her shudder just thinking about it!
