favorite holiday tradition;; Aerin loves wrapping and getting presents that contain pajamas, and opening them the night of Christmas eve to wear them to bed. She has been doing this since she was very young, and is keen to keep it going with her future family and friends.

Rue's favorite holiday tradition is when her family gathers together and makes delicious apple cider.
About five days before Christmas Eve, all of her close relatives come over to her home and all
engage in the wonderful time of creating this amazing treat. She loves how her home still smells
of freshly cut apples, and cinnamon for a few weeks after the holidays are over.

After cooking a gammon for hours, Alley helps her grandmother take it off of the stove, strains the water and sets up a place for her grandfather to carve it. December 24th being her grandfather's birthday, she is usually filled with overwhelming love for the paraplegic kalon that has made it all the way to his next birthday - for she never can tell when his last will be. And so, she watches as he carves the meat and shares it with the rest of their family who only gather once a year, for Christmas.
The happiness and sharing, patience and love that goes into sharing a simple meal on Christmas eve is her absolute favourite tradition<3

Noel remembers clearly the day his mother first taught him how to make Christmas cookies. It was Christmas eve, and he could see the heavy blanket of snow from the kitchen window. His mother was wearing her trademark "'Tis the Season!" apron, and her chocolate brown eyes were filled with love as she instructed her son on what to do. He remembers the surprise when his mother playfully tossed a handful of flour onto him, her warm laugh coming from behind. He was so worried that he had ruined his new Christmas sweater, but his mother reassured him that most of the flour would come out, and what wouldn't would always be a reminder of their first cooking session.

When the dough had been formed into soft, doughy balls, the mother and son carefully placed the tray in the over. The scent of vanilla and chocolate soon filled the air as they watched the cookies bake. Noel's eyes were filled with wonder and excitement when they finally pulled them out.

"Shall I make an ornament, or a snowflake?" his mother asked, icing in both hands.

"A snowflake! Just like the ones outside!"

His mother smiled and let out a soft chuckle, pressing the light blue frosting onto the cookie. The two continued to decorate the cookies for another half hour before all of them were finished. Noel's mother looked down on him with pride as her son placed each cookie onto a plate. The rest of the night was spent under soft blankets while watching classic Christmas movies, huddled next to the fire for warmth as the snow continued to fall outside.

It's been 5 years since that day; many winters have come and gone, and many cookies have been decorated in Noel's kitchen. However, this year was different. For the first time, Noel was the only baker in his kitchen. He rolled the dough in the same way as his mother showed him, placing them in even distances across the tray before watching them bake in the oven. When they had cooled, Noel added blue icing to mimic the snowflakes falling outside, a gentle smile tugging at his lips.

When he was finished, he brushed his hands on his flour-stained sweater that was a little too snug. He turned to look at a framed picture of his mother and him holding freshly baked cookies. The frame sat atop a neatly folded apron with the phrase "'Tis the Season" written in fancy golden letters. It still smelled of vanilla, though it had been months since it was last worn.

Taking a cookie from the plate, Noel snuggled up under his blanket and sat beside the fire. He spent the night watching classic Christmas movies as snow fell outside.

"Merry Christmas, Mom."

→ favorite holiday tradition ;; Miu loves to just sit near a warm fire with the ones she loves the most, and enjoy telling stories about holiday experiences. She even has one for you! "It was one of the best and worst Christmases ever." Miu said. "It was in the middle of a blizzard, so bad that it was hard to see two feet in front of you. Snow was everywhere, and it was all the way up to the bottom of my chin! I remember that I was supposed to visit my family that day, since it was Christmas eve. I had to survive out in that blizzard. I almost got knocked down several times from the strong winds that blew in my face. Whenever I opened my mouth, I felt the cold air rush inside and down my throat, causing it to become dry and hurt. Luckily, I wasn't that far from the house my family was meeting in. The bad part is that it was an up and downhill climb. I almost slipped and fell down multiple times; and I actually did! When I landed, my face was buried in the cold, white snow. I thought for sure I was a goner, but I saw lights and heard a voice in the distance. 'Miu? Miiiuuuuu!!!' They had called. I managed to slowly stand up and choke out the words; 'I'm here!' If it wasn't for conviniet timing that I was near the house and someone was out, I probably would have become a Popsicle!"

favorite holiday tradition;; Video calling back home to his family. Par moved to Greenland right as he graduated from college, and only gets to visit his family about once a year, as they live in Brasil. Neither him or his family was happy about that, so they made an agreement. Every chirstmas, Par would video call them and they could spend their chirsmas together! They would spend all day in the call and have a good time.
