What is the best thing to put on top of a christmas tree? A star or something else?
I personally put an angel on mine. A star never made much sense to me, as a Christian - when the verse in the Bible is translated from Greek to English, it's not a star that's above the manger; it's an angel (the Greek word αστέρι/astare/astero/astera can refer to a star or an angel, but in the context of the verse and story in which it is given, it is more than likely an angel). So, to me, an angel is a lovely representation of the belief system I adhere to - thus, I use an angel.
Plus, let's get real - angels are more beautiful and aesthetically pleasing than stars, anywho. XD A star just sits there, all pointy and five-sided with sharp, pointed ends. Angels are graceful and absolutely gorgeous - there's also a great variety of angels to choose from, and a great many more styles than the standard tree-toppers that are stars.

Favourite activity you/your rpw does for the holidays?
My favorite activity that I do is driving around my neighborhood looking at all the Christmas lights. The lights are so beautiful and calming to me - I love just taking a few minutes out of my night to drive by the lovely houses all aglow. They're absolutely lovely!

I believe it was a star the last time we had it up. A beautiful gorgeous silver sparkly star, so much better than the angel we had for years when I was a little girl. That was really never aesthetically pleasing to me as she was so bland and unimpressive with her boring expression and boring clothes, while the star has never failed to me me smile with the way it wonkily perches atop the tree.

Xenith loves to bake christmas cookies and gingerbread houses! She's not made something incredibly impressive yet but she is going to go for it one day!

A Xenon star he made himself, is changes colors as it goes, and he even made it to where you can add more to it to make it bigger, hes a huge nerd haha. He has tried many different things, but he changes from Bio luminescence to Xenon from year to year.

Favourite activity you/your rpw does for the holidays?

Train his body! He uses the cold and snow to train his lungs and ability to transverse different environments, plus if his clothes get wet he uses that to train his leg muscles, he also just likes to look at the areas around him. Usually he'll stop by and get a coffee or hot coco aswell on his way home!

I like putting an angel on top of my tree. My family does a thing where ever year we make a new angel somehow out of paper to put on the tree. Even if it doesn't look super neat, it still is really nice to have actually made it versus just reusing one.

Glace's favorite activity is helping plan Christmas parties! She loves putting up the decorations, picking food, and planning music.

I have my own small tree in my room and when I was around 7 or so my best friend gave me this little white angel for trees. Now my parents wouldn't let me put it on our big tree so I've put it on my little tree ever since. On our big family tree, we often put an angel that has been passed down many generations.

Fiora loves to go sledding. When there is a fresh thick layer of snow first put out she grabs her sled and finds the best hill to slide down. Though she is quite older than most kids sledding she still loves to do it.

When we were kids we always used to make a star. I remember the first time I got my own little Christmas
tree, one of those little fake ones that's about 3 feet tall. I made a star out of cardboard and a copper pipe,
and just shoved that on the top of the tree.

Personally, the top of my tree has always remained bare. My family would get the tallest tree we could for the height of our ceiling, so there wasn't really any room left to top it off. That's just what seems normal to me now, though if I had to choose, I'd put my vote in for a nice little star.

My favorite activity is just sitting home doing next to nothing. It falls between the end of one symester and the start of another, so it's nice to just take some time and cool off, no homework, no responsibilities, just...nothing haha.

According to Delilah, the best thing to put on top of a christmas tree is the large white and beaded snowflake that she made at nursery a few years ago. This is because she thinks that it looks by far the best, and that it compliments the tree very nicely. Her parents don't particularly agree, but go along with it to keep her happy.

Delilah's favourite holiday activity is sledding, of course! There is a large hill just outside her and her parents house, so every winter when it snows, she gets wrapped up in several layers of clothes before being endlessly pushed down and pulled up the hill by her father Kaleb, who eventually gets rather fed up, but deep down, he loves seeing her so happy.
