Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

Oh, it's my last Kal as a GA, my uncommon design, I'm very sad that it's over. u A u these guys are great. It's neat what you guys can do with them.
It's a remake of one of my old entries from the comp! One of my favorite designs I did. Slightly different of course, though!

Edits:
Standard shine, fang, and heterochromia(? Two colors in both eyes)
Common back mane, hair beyond the jaw, longer fur on the tail and back legs (the tail is a normal tail, it's just fluffier at the end!)
Uncommon short fur and tongue

The contest for this baby, again, is a longer one. Runner ups (at least 1) and honorable mentions will be rewarded! This time you have to draw the Kalon with its favorite food, be it some fruit, some fish or even the insects that Kalons eat, or write a poem about its favorite food!
You may add anything you want to.

Oh my gosh, this poem was SO MUCH FUN to write xD I had this idea for a Kalon that adores dog treats so I just went with it. I feel like this food describes his personality so well xD
