User you'd like to win: thefartheststarWhy they should win:I honestly and truly think they are the best friend ever. I met her when i was around 4 or 5, we were both home-schooled kids going to a small class to learn about nature and the ecosytem. I was kinda a odd kid, and was recovering from autism, making me very anti-social, but we became great friends. Since then she has put up with all my weirdness, and somehow, she sees it as awesomeness. Even though, sadly, both of us moved to different places and now hardly see each other in person, we are still the best of friends and talk A LOT on the phone. A few years back i was... well, i don't know. It wasn't really depression, but it was just part of my life that was very apathetic. I had a certain lack of confidence. She was always there. She is a big part of the reason im who I am today. Today, im happy. Back then, all she had to do was call and I was almost immediately happy. She never judges me or my opinions and she listens to all my ranting obsessions about Star Wars and Marvel. In return She obsesses to me about Doctor who, Broadway plays, and acting (I don’t think she believes me when I say this, but I swear she is going to right to the big screen, and pretty soon I’ll be seeing her name is all the block-buster movie credits.)
She likes hearing about all my OCs and I love hearing about all her lovely characters. She is an absolutely amazing person, I’ve never felt awkward talking to her, and I feel I can talk to her about almost anything. Although our interests have certainly grown apart since we first met, it just makes talking to each other even more interesting! Recently I have taken up debate and discussion, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t have been able to do that if she hadn’t been my friend. I am a rather shy person and try to avoid conflict at all times. However, talking to her, it makes me feel like someone actually wants to hear my ideas and opinions. She listens to me, if im talking about something super serious, or if im rambling on about how star wars rebels is going down the drain and I wish they kept the clone wars going. There have been many times where I literally had no other friends. And you know what? I could never ever dream of having a better friend.
She is extremely funny and amazing human being and I know I wouldn’t be the person I am without them. She is honest and yet I don’t remember a single time where she has ever really offended me. (Although we argue a bit on if Team Captain America is better the Team Iron Man.) I just really think she an amazing person and I think they would love this 'cet! (She was the one who told me about viscets) Also, a play she is in just opened a few days ago, and i thought this cutie would make a good congratulations gift as well. ♥
This Thanksgiving I’m grateful and honored to have her as a best friend.
