What is a Voxxie?

A Voxxie is a small creature, around the size of a rat. They are in fact blind; living deep in under the earth, the need for sight was not necessary with the unfathomable blackness. Regardless of their lack of sight, they are no where near helpless. With their highly sensitive noses, ears and sense of touch, they are able to make their way around quite easily. They usually live in colonies of up to 15 or so Voxxies, although there is no hierarchy; just all living together. They are omnivores, eating whatever is available to them, but they are never cannibalistic. The fluffy hair around their ears and tails is actually a very unique system, the hairs are highly receptive to vibrations and help the Voxxie maneuver in the dark tunnels. All Voxxies have some some sort of glowing marking, no one knows exactly why, but it is believed that the markings give off some sort of smell, or sound that only other Voxxies can detect...and it is thought that this helps in knowing who is who.

He's some how found his way outside, but of course thaqt doesnt matter! He cant see!

But...he can feel the sun's warmth, casuing him to smile. It's such a new feeling in the air and ground, such soft grass!

So tell me...how did he get there??

He is inspired by turkeys, since thanksgiving is coming for some of us in the US!

He didnt really know where he was going he just some how he got turned around and lost his friend leading him home. Tin-tin lives a little higher then everyone else and doesn't get much company besides the few friends that come and visit him, however he doesn't mind it. Most voxxies know him as a dreamer and one to imagine the most craziest story's. So being the adventure and dreamer he is he continued on this mysterious path. So he marched on wards feeling the ground under him slope and get higher and he started hearing things Tin-tin has never heard before, and what was that? something cool came blowing at his face! Shocked Tin-tin started to panic thinking he was under attack, heart pounding he thought he could maybe rush it? So he took off at full throttle foreword running into a thin wall of dirt weathered by years of rain and wind. Surprised Tin-tin tripped and rolled in a ungraceful heap in soft squishy ground. Tin-tin slowly got up and moved a paw foreword wearily trying to gain his seances back but as he moved his paw little things began to rub against his paws tickling him feeling fresh and their was a bunch of them. Bending down he smelt them they smelt of freshly cut veggies but fresher and less dirt like? Then realizing that warmth began to seep into his fur warming him to his bones. something he has never felt before it was greater then all the story's he has ever dreamed of. It did more than just warm his bones it warmed his heart and made it fly it felt like warm honey with it seeping through him. wind blew between his ears and through his fur ruffling it bring with it the smell of warmth and greenery. Tin-tin laid their in the grass enjoying every moment of it, however he knew that his friends where probably looking for him and worried. so with a heavy heart Tin-tin got up and went back down the tunnel. However he never quite forgot that feeling and hopes someday he could return their.
