What is a Parvus Lynx?

'Parvus' is the Latin word for small, which is exactly what these guys are.

The average Parvus weighs between 3-4kg (6-9 Pounds), and are around 17 cm in height (7 Inches).
Originally created in England in the 1940s, they are a mixture of Lynx, Deer and Munchkin Cat. As such, they have short, stumpy legs, antlers and a lynx like face and head.

Cross-breeding has also led to a variety in markings, as well as other modifications. For example, the original Parvus Lynx's had no tails. However, after extensive breeding with longer tailed cats, this type has almost died out.

How did the ink stain her fur: Nevermore belonged to an older man when she was young- Clyde. Clyde was an artist, spending his days drawing his beautiful kitten. Nevermore was a friendly kitten; she loved Clyde with all her heart. One day, she tried to get onto the table where Clyde was using a feather-quill to draw- making for beautiful images. When she jumped, however, her foot hit his ink, and she fell back to the floor, the ink along with her. Furthermore, as the ink spread across the table, it seeped into the image. Clyde was devastated by the incident, but Nevermore stayed with him until he finished. The image showed an inky pattern on her back, which neither minded. She climbed onto his table, touching her nose to the image, until Clyde understood Nevermore wanted him to copy his art onto her. It was an honor to recreate his art onto his model.

Ink can stain your fur forever. Be more careful!" Lily nodded. "Yes mama." But the next day Lily was bouncing around and almost knocked over a ink panel. Her mother glared at her. "Lily! Look! You almost spilled this! Ink can stain your fur forever. Be more carful!" Lily nodded. "Yes mama." The next day Lily was sitting drawing quietly. Her mother nodded, satisfied. "Lily. Your older now. I'm running out to get some groceries and pick up my new order of parchment. Be carful." Lily nodded. "Yes mama." The moment Lily's mother left, a smile cracked across her face. She ran around playing again happily. But this time she bumped into the table and ink spilled everywhere on Lily. She screeched and cleaned up the ink on the floor quickly but the ink on her fur wouldn't come off. Her mother approached and sat down, drawing like nothing happened. Her mother walked in. "Lily I'm back...." Her mother gasped. "Lily! I told you ink stains your fur forever! What do you have to say now?" Lily nodded, and sighed. "Yes mama...."

One day, without checking the mangrove, she dived in and was submerged in oil. a few days later, Latte woke up in an animal rescue clinic. There had been a oil spill in the area which she had lived in, and was now inhabitable. Latte had been found unconscious floating in the oil-contaminated water, and was lucky to be alive, but the inky oil had stained her fur forever.
