What's with the Bell?
Janey’s bell is her lifeline. She’s always had terrible anxiety, and her bell helps to ground her when nothing else can. She usually either chews on it or gently pushes it around just enough for it to ring softly. The sound is one of the most calming thing she has ever heard, it’s become something she must carry around 24/7 or else she feels empty. She even sleeps with it on! If Janey ever had her bell taken away, well she doesn’t know how she would be able to even function properly. Even when she’s not anxious she loves hearing the little jingle-jangle of the bell as she trots from place to place.

What's with the Bell? {100 words min}
Being the avid chef she is, Sachi is always in the kitchen, creating new dishes and masterpieces. But cooking is only half the joy, the rest comes from the look on kalons' faces as they indulge! Calling her friends and the dinner table has become a ceremony and everyone has no hesitation dropping everything and sprinting to the table. But constantly announcing that food is ready has often made her throats feel sore, especially when she has extended family over and they're lounging on the patio while the kits explore the acres of forest behind the house. So when her best friend Kodiac noticed the raspiness of her voice, an idea sprouted in his mind, and when Christmas swung around, he wrapped up the perfect gift.
When Sachi unraveled the brown ribbon from the box and lifted the lid, she saw a shiny little bell. She was quite surprised with the unusual gift, as she usually received recipe books and kitchen utensils. Kodiac explained that she could ring the bell and save her voice when calling everyone to the table, and Sachi adored his idea. She took the ribbon that had sealed up the box and threaded it through the bell, then got Kodiac to help her tie it around her neck. "There," she smiled, "I'll never lose it."
Now, she still wears the musical bell around her neck, and quite likes the convenience and style. Because she's always making food, there's no point in ever putting the thing down! And since her passion for cooking is not quite matched by any of her friends, it can get a bit lonely cooking in the kitchen all by herself, and the gentle rings of the bell keep her company.
All in all, her bell is an important part of her passion and doesn't look bad either!

    what's with the bell?
    tucked away in a lonesome corner of a vacant room sat a pair of two kalons, one bearing a red pelt adorned with delicate white designs, and the other with a covering of brown fur. one was gazing down rather brokenly, but this was not a new thing. the other gazed at the seemingly upset one, worriedly, sorrowful.
    "lav, i want you to wear this bell." erupted one of the voices, breaking the existential silence which had been brought before the two.

    "w-why?" the kalon questioned softly but with a voice laced with sadness.

    "so i don't loose you." they replied, emerging out of the dark corner. inside of their mouth was a collar. a collar with an apparel of a bell, it rung slightly with the sudden movement.

    "p-percy. you're so silly.. you.. you won't loose me." lavender responded with a dry laugh, but the despair was rather thick and noticeable.

    "i want to make sure, okay? you are my world, lavender. you are sad and whenever you're sad, i want you to give this bell a ring." percy replied with a gentle tone.

    "a-alright." lavender nodded slowly, his eyes scanning over percy. he felt the bell wrap around his neck, and with a small 'click' at the back, it stayed. he twitched ever so slightly, the bell ringing softly.

    "see? now i can always help you, okay?" percy smiled, their eyes lighting up with hope.

    "okay, percy." lavender felt a smile being dragged onto his face, pulling the corners of his thin lips up into a curve. it met his eyes, too. he felt hopeful, reignited, almost as if a newly placed candle had slightly, only dimly, lit the area which had been drowned out in darkness for years.

What's with the Bell? Well... There's a few reasons for the bell. Firstly, why not have a bell? The strap is thick and strong and helps her remember how powerful she is, and the bell itself makes a beautiful ringing sound with every step she takes. The weight is a comfort on her small neck, and she loves having something plain and normal against her outgoing pattern. Remembering that such a beautiful thing is near brings her down to the earth, and since it was a gift from her parents before they went away it's become her most prized possession. It means more to her than the world, and she loves running her paw over the thick strap every once in a while to remind herself that some things do last forever, such as the beautiful sound that the bell makes and its curved, elegant shape.

What's with the Bell? Centuries ago in Tabitha's family history(around the 12th century, England), her family worked as change ringers. This meant they worked ringing bells in a coordinated manner in a tower to tell the village the time of day and to call up people to church services. Her younger brother partakes in modern change ringing as a sport, the same way her father does, while she herself was handed down a smaller bell from the time that her family officially worked as change ringers. On the inside of the bell is her great-great-great-grandfather's (the amount of greats is up for debate) initials, and in order to preserve the bell throughout the years, it had been refurbished several times. Traditionally, the bell had been passed down to the oldest child at the age of ten, and since she originally received it, she has kept it on at all times, only taking it off for bed or showers. She sometimes uses it and a small stick (tapping against the outside of the bell) to make music, and often merely marvels over of the history of her artifact. Sometimes, her father tells her stories about his own experiences with the bell and the previous owners. He says it has had a different meaning for each owner. Tabitha herself decides that her meaning isn't much more than comfort, childhood, memories and the past - something to entertain her in times of boredom, or strengthen her resolve in times of trouble.

What's with the Bell? {100 words min}
Elizabeth was best friends with this very sweet and kind Kalon that lived on a farm. The two were like twins, and they did everything together. The farm Kalon always wore a bell around her neck, believing it brought good luck. She always did have good luck, after all. But the good luck came to an end when one day, she became deathly ill and passed away. Before her death, she asked that her best friend receive the golden bell. After her death, Elizabeth was given the bell. For a while she couldn't even look at the bell, but after that while was up, she began to wear it all day everyday. She would clean it with high quality cleaning chemicals daily and shine it weekly. Some Kalons at her school would pick on her for wearing it all the time, but it never phases her because she does it to honor her best friend.

      What's with the Bell? Myrna struggles a lot with a sensory processing disorder. Sometimes sounds and words are all too much; they overwhelm them and make them shut down. A close friend gifted them a bell one day, and they discovered that the bell's ringing gives them something to focus on: something to ground themself on. Their bell helps them get through their day; and when things are too much, they're known to just take a little time out and ring the bell a few times to centre themself and calm down. It reminds them everything will be okay, and in the end, noise is just noise !

what's with the bell? {100 words min}
Ding dong, rings the bells. They ring back and forth, on this blessed day.
Five days through summer, moon rabbit high in the sky.
She was born on that day.
Blessed, loved, born with hearted fur, she was the bells.
Bells of love, of future she was.
Sazu, they sang, child of the bells.

As she grew, as did the world.
The flowers grew taller, her brother grew strong.
But, she thought, the sun did not grow brighter.
Nor did her bell grow larger.
Her voice grew lighter, as did her heart.
But her bell still hung, never moving.

She wondered why so,
Why the world grew taller,
But her bell was never moving.
She sang to her great mother,
"Oh why oh why, does my bell not grow stronger?"
Her grandmother laughed, a golden mirth,
"Oh Sazu," she smiled,
"You are the bell little one" she laughed.

As she sang and danced,
Mirht and music followed,
As she was the bell of the people.
