Foodlings ("Foodies") were the stuff of legend, only being heard of in children's bed time stories to explain how food mysteriously vanishes sometimes, up until recently. A young child got up half way through the night to find (not santa!) but a strange creature eating the cookies he had left out. The creature was caught in a jar and used to capture more for scientific research. Researchers have concluded that the impish beasts get their strange colours and markings based on their dietary habits. Since then, Foodlings have been made available to adopt by the public <3
