What is a Parvus Lynx?

'Parvus' is the Latin word for small, which is exactly what these guys are.

The average Parvus weighs between 3-4kg (6-9 Pounds), and are around 17 cm in height (7 Inches).
Originally created in England in the 1940s, they are a mixture of Lynx, Deer and Munchkin Cat. As such, they have short, stumpy legs, antlers and a lynx like face and head.

Cross-breeding has also led to a variety in markings, as well as other modifications. For example, the original Parvus Lynx's had no tails. However, after extensive breeding with longer tailed cats, this type has almost died out.

Backstory: Born in the high mountains of Scafell Pike he never quite had enough of anything. He and his nestmates were cast out from his family's lodge young because they couldn't keep care of him and his siblings. He wanted nothing more than to be loved from a young age, but that never happened. He was the runt of the litter, the little anomaly with slit eyes. His siblings all called him ugly. His fur was once a soft blue but it has darkened with time. So has his soul. When he was cast out from his sibling group, hardly able to hunt for himself he almost starved. He survived off of small rodents. Even though he was small, even for a Parvus Lynx, he was always hungry. Once the mice and rats had learned to avoid him, he had to branch out. He took down his first Parvus Deer and his new life began. He roamed the mountains. He was at peace.

He was born in a dark jungle. He was born during a big rough storm. Many months later his mother left him alone to fend for himself in the dark jungle. May years after that when he was full grown he roamed the dark jungle like he was king of it. He was proud of himself for getting this far from when he was first born. He then left the jungle to find over Parvus Lynx. He went through many jungles,forest & many other habitats to get here with other Parvus Lynx. He still hasn't forgotten his mother from when he was born.

Backstory: Born high in the mountains, Twitch was cast away by his mother. His markings and color made it hard for him to blend in with the area and so his mother basically saw him as a loud light up sign that tells predators "Hey we're over here", so she banished him to keep the rest of her litter safe. Twitch wandered off away from the mountains and managed to get lost deep in the forest. He had to fend for himself and each day his disdain for his mother grew. He matured and became king of the forest. His colors and pattern let him camouflage quite nicely in this area, so he was able to catch food and hide from predators with ease. He looks forward to the day he can meet his mother and show her what a powerful Parvas Lynx he has become.

backstory ;; originating from the molai forest in india, neela learned to be swift and quit from a young age. many predators, much larger in size, lurked within the shadows. if not for his caution and wiseness, neela could have been easily swallowed within seconds as a kit. now an adult, he still resembled the same ginger demeanor he did when he was younger. rarely does neela speak, and when he does it's always something intellectual. he tends to surround himself by nothing but nature, avoiding other beings at all costs. with a dense striped pelt, neela blends into his surroundings with ease. lithe paw-steps and alert ears, neela continues to call the molai forest his home. oftentimes neela is found lounging in a tree, curious yellow eyes flickering about. most fear him and his great knowledge. it is rumored that looking into his snake-like eyes is equal to staring at death itself. as much as others fear neela, he doesn't find any reason to be violent. in fact, he is more a lover than a fighter. but don't let that fool you. when it comes down to it, neela will do what ever he needs to do for himself; no matter what the task is.
