retrieving my pony
im doing art for this one so itll be edited in soon!
onsite vet check
Shane walked forward, his eyes on the black mare in front of her, the vet was behind him as he took a hold of the halter around the mares neck. the vet took out a stethoscope and began checking the pony's heart beat whilst gently applying pressure to her chest. Shane cooed softly to calm the mare as she skittishly shifted her weight. her ears continued to remain flat against her head as the vet checked her eyes, tongue and gums along with her teeth, and finally her ears. after awhile of examining them he took a step back. "she appears to be deaf, her hearing is incredibly weak but she seems pretty mellow due to that." he muttered. Shane nodded as he patted the mares back he nodded towards the slight dip in her spine, indicating she had a small sway back. the vet continued to go down from the mares head and checked her shoulders, front legs and hooves, and moved to her back. he said something about her being older because of the sway back. Shane nodded and looked back at the mares face, she had soft eyes and muzzle. The vet had moved to her hind quarters and was checking her right leg. she shifted her weight again and nickered softly. the vet took note of this and looked up. "she seems to have an old injury here, can you walk her around for me to see?" Shane nodded and took a step forward while holding the lead and moving forward. the mare protested at first then began to walk. she had a slight limp as Shane could see and wasn't putting her whole weight on her hind. the vet called Shane to a stop and returned to where the vet was. "she seems to be healthy, for an older mare, do watch her though, she seems to be about eighteen years or nineteen. otherwise she seems alright" the vet told him as he and Shane shook hands.

Aww darn! That's alright! I wish luck to anyone who tries for her! And know that whoever she goes to will be a good home!

Suzzallo KennelsYou do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting -
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
