Don met Amara when her travels led her near the Spanish Kal's territory. At first, he brushed her off as another mortal unworthy of his time, however he eventually came to see her as the one thing as perfect as he is. Though he wouldn't dare tell anyone this, he cares for her quite deeply.
⚡ The Exception - Intro
What is perfection? Donn is a Kalon that reasons that perfection, the state of being free from flaws, is subjective. He reasons that everything and everyone is perfect to someone but possesses flaws to another. Everything, in his eyes, is neither perfect nor imperfect, that they simply just exist. Everything...except himself. Donn believes that he is objectively perfect, that he alone possesses no flaws and nothing he does is wrong. In his view, he is not arrogant, because arrogance is an exaggerated opinion of oneself, he reasons that because his view is correct, that he simply cannot be arrogant, only right.
Of course, this self-elevated view of himself plays a part in how he interacts with others...Just not in the way most would believe it would. Donn is someone who views himself as the paragon of perfection, however that doesn't mean he is self-absorbent. He and self-absorbed individuals are similar in that they both believe themselves to be the most important, but the difference here is that most self-centered Kalons are like that to the extent of being dismissive to others and finding ways to take topics about others and shift it to themselves.

Donn however, has learned to behave in social situations with a degree of tact. Instead of turning topics around to focus around himself, he often maintains eye-contact with the individual he's talking with, a smile of interest typically on his princely features. To most, this establishes Donn as a good listener, the eye-contact making them feel as though that he is paying attention to whatever they're talking about, with the occasional question and nod accompanying it to ensure said feeling. The self-titled modern-day Adonis carries himself with an impenetrable aura of cool, possessing the quality to eternally remain calm, never getting hot under the collar so to speak. In everything he does, it's always with a level of swagger and fluidity that lets everyone around him know of his confidence.

This further plays into the "facade." Most individuals seek others with the ability to listen to a person's problems and are confident in themselves and their place in the world when they want advice or simply a shoulder to cry on. Donn's eternally chill personality creates mystique, which garners him intrigue from others when combined with his air of charisma and boyish charm. The modern-age adonis gladly accepts this role, at-least outwardly. In truth, Donn isn't invested in the strifes others face at all, thinking himself above them. Yet, he willingly listens to them and offers his opinion. Why? Because it satisfies Donn's view of being higher than others. Like a mythological figure, Kalon's flocking to him for advice proves his status.
