A bit about him: Roderick spends the majority of his time taking the day off, and doing what he pleases. Whether that be watching others through his crystal ball, exploring the vast world around him, or tampering with spells he's not familiar with. Which can actually get him in a lot of trouble, being that when something goes wrong, he tends to ignore it; allowing whatever monstrosity he's crafted to leave if it's alive and to big of a bother to care for, or dangerously unstable objects to sit around the tree he calls home, waiting to be used on his next adventure. It's noteworthy to say that the enchanted tree he lives in, along with practically everything he owns, was given to him by his former teacher; who passed away shorty after twenty years of teaching the magically inclined viscet he'd bought off a black market salesman of sorts.
Due to how out of the way his home is, he tends to spend the majority of time on his own. Which sometimes drives him crazy, being that he craves the attention and admiration. Often times showing off his ability to manipulate the laws of nature along with nature it's self, to impress those he comes across, insisting that they join him on an adventure. If they refuse his offer to join him, he'll use his abilities to play tricks on them until they leave the forest. Either that or ask if he can join them, all the while moving their journey towards the one he wanted to take if their's isn't as exciting, because when it comes to Roderick, it's either his way or the metaphorical highway. If his selfish nature, the unending need for things to go his way, possessiveness, or his occasionally sheer laziness doesn't win someone over, then his charming, curious, fun loving, and somewhat bubbly side will.... Being that that's the part of his personality that usually does. If something comes to a point where he doesn't think he can win, he'll either destroy it or makes sure it'll remember him as a force to be reckoned with. Other than that, enchanted objects, dangerous spell books, charms (especially luck ones), and candy bars are his aesthetic. And when it comes to others, the closer they are the better, because things are about to get wild and they wont want to miss it.
