Welcome to the adoption of Aquilo and Audun's third son! I'm hoping to find him a lovely home with an owner who will take good care of him <3 Below you will find some information on his dads that should help you better understand his environment. I've also linked the dad's icons to their stories if anyone is interested in reading them, though it's not necessary. This contest is a limited impress me that will end on November 20th. Extensions are possible and I can probably extend it to AT MOST December 5th. That gives you three Saturday's time to work on it.

Prince Aquilo and Prince Audun started out as traveling companions. Audun sought freedom and Aquilo wished for a crown that would save his brothers lives. Audun possessed such a crown and so in exchange Aquilo would serve Audun and only Audun all his life.

Along their journey they met two more travels, Augustus and Tomoe, and together they walked the earth in search of what they desired. However, when Audun found what he was looking for he quickly realized it wasn’t what he thought it was, and so instead he left it where he found it and returned home.

Once he was home, Audun gave Aquilo the crown and told him that the deal was off, but that he wished for Aquilo’s dream to come true. Aquilo, who had come to care deeply for Audun, realized that this would probably be the last time he ever saw Audun. Since he did not wish them to part, he asked Audun to come live in his castle instead. Audun had to refuse because his kingdom needed him at the moment, so Aquilo instead asked Audun to marry him so that they would have that promise to see each other again some day.

On their wedding night, Audun became pregnant and later gave birth to four sons. At first he was delighted that he had children to tie Aquilo to him more, but he soon grew to love the children for simply being who they where to him. He raised them by himself until they where three, and on their third birthday Aquilo came and took two of the sons back to his kingdom.

For six years the family stayed separated, only reuniting on special holidays and the brother’s birthday. When Audun’s cousin finally became of age he was able to fill in for Audun, and because of this Audun was free to go live with Aquilo with their four sons as a family.

The brothers must work hard to be proper members of society, and also potential kings themselves oneway. This young one here is Edward, the third child, and he is looking for where he belongs.

Kingly - Humble - Self-less - Awkward Emotionally - Proud

Aquilo is the strong silent type. He speaks when he needs to but remains quiet most of the time. Those who meet him refer to him as a gentleman and he appears to be a rather humble person. Aquilo has all the qualities of a leader and is nobel to the core.
When it comes to Audun, he lets his guard down a lot more and can behave somewhat childishly. The two share a complicated relationship as husbands, still in the slow process of falling in love despite already having children. Towards his kids he tries to set a good example of what it is to be a prince, and he hopes his children will grow up to be outstanding citizens.

Prideful - Vain - Self-centered - Crafty - Intuitive
Audun is a brat who shouldn’t be a father, but he is. Despite being self-centred he is trying his best to raise the children, even if it’s mostly to impress Aquilo with his nonexistent parenting skills. He can be harsh without meaning to but it’s obvious he cares for his children, even though his main goal in having them was simply to tie Aquilo to him. At first he thought of his kids only as pawns, but after the first few weeks he became overly protective of them. He is very defensive of his sons and thinks they can do no wrong, and if anyone where to harm a hair on their heads, he would have their head on a silver platter.

Intelligent - Bashful - Awkward - Logical - Blunt
Evan has always been a bit of a strange kid. He is unnaturally smart for his age and excels in all school subjects, but he is painfully awkward when it comes to interaction with others. Evan hates attention, especially when he’s in the spotlight, and he’ll clam up if he’d made to speak publicly. Most would write him off as the shy nerd type, but that’s not it. When he’s around people he’s comfortable with it’s completely different. The real him is blunt, a bit crude, and quite the cynic. However his cynicism is often worded in a comical fashion, so many take his statements as jokes instead of his actual feelings. The more stressed his is, the more he’ll talk.

E l l i o t t
Picky - Narcissistic - Manipulative - Careless - Clever

He’s pretty much a bratty prince who thinks he’s better than everyone else and is above the law. He’s also a bit of a scaredy cat and will run to his parents bed if he hears so much as a bump in the night. He's extremely nice to his family, but only when he wants something. Other than that he stays relatively quiet, only piping up with snarky remarks.

E r i c
Generous - Kindhearted - Loyal - Honest - Naive
Eric is a cheerful and friendly person. He is not incredibly smart like Even or terribly clever like Elliot, but he has more integrity and more determination than both of them combined. What he is not good at he works to become better, and when he fails he is quick to jump back on his feet. His kindness makes him venerable to the ill intentions of others, and his fathers keep a rather close eye on him. Though some refer to him as the ‘foolish boy’, he likes to think of himself as simply a kindred spirit to all.

Brawny - Jokester - Outgoing - Dependable - Dense

Edward spends his extra time studying relics and learning how to properly fight during mounted combat. His weapon of choice is the halberd as he likes the advantages of distance between him and his opponent. Edward was never good at learning from books or from observing but he has found over time that his muscle memory is very accurate. Being near last in line for the kingdom the pressures of being a price don't quite reach him. Edward instead spends his time forming himself to be supportive to his older brothers as well as the soldiers of the kingdom. He tries his best to comfort the citizens around him seeming fairly relaxed even in times of great stress. Often when frustrated he leaves off alone to take his frustrations out on training equipment rather than talk to anyone. If you need anything smashed to bits Edward is your guy but if you need some answers to mathematical problems his brain is likely to overheat. Edward is often the type to scream "DON'T CRY!" at others before also breaking out into tears himself.

Relationships:

Aquilo
- Edward tries his best to get along with his father Aquilo he jokes a lot but can only seem to get small smiles out of him. Perhaps because compared to his brothers he does not have to will to undergo the proper training of a prince. Edward feels slightly left out when Aquilo talks of the future of the kingdom. When viewing his father as the King, Edward really looks up to his him believing in him wholeheartedly.

Audun
- Edward avoids letting his father Audun know too much about his whereabouts or troubles he has caused. Audun's defensiveness when it comes to what is right or wrong concerning his siblings often causes Edward to feel troubled. Though at times when there is no one to blame Audun is the perfect parent to talk to.

Elliott
- Edward often finds Elliott's personality to be utterly annoying. Edward just isn't smart enough to keep up with Elliott's schemes and plans. Yet he continuously trusts in him just to be disappointed when Elliott gets his hands on something he wanted. The very worst thing is that when Edward gets mad at him Elliott runs and hides behind their parents. Their parents always seem to think Edward is picking on him... Which to be fair he occasionally does... but it's not like he doesn't deserve it.




Evan
-Evan seems like a genius to Edward. He can easily tackle problems that have stumped Edward for days. Although Evan and is actually really rude he is probably Edward's favorite brother at least for now. His way of talking in a comical fashion really just makes Edward smile and half the time he can't tell the jokes are Evan's real feelings about things. Edwards finds the difference between Evan in private versus Evan in public as amusing and often makes jokes saying "Man Even is such a loud mouth he just never knows when to shut it." Then he playfully shoves him in the shoulder.

Eric
-When Eric wanders about town Edward follows him just to keep an eye on him. Eric seems to often wander into places where others trick him into doing things. He thinks that his brother is kind-hearted but often wishes he would keep his kindness within the castle. They both get along well with each other and Edward often invites Eric to train with him as he likes his personality of never giving up.

Future:

Edward's future is to be loved by the citizens. He walks among them and learns their names by heart. They often put him in awkward situations where they say they would rather he become the next king. Though when this happens he quickly shuts them down with a stern look as he is very loyal to his family.

As Edward trains, he will become a major asset to the kingdom's army. He itches to defend his people in times of need. Understanding little of what it means to act princely he seems more like a knight than an actual prince. At times he forgets his position and causes embarrassment or shame to his family.

He tries his best to avoid getting silly things like crushes on other kalons. Edward considers it a priority that he marry only in times of need to keep the peace among the kingdoms.

Extra:

Edward ripped around the corners of the castle attempting his best to scramble away from his reading instructor. There was a spry look on his face until he rounded another corner and his eyes came into contact with that of his fathers Aquilo and Audun. Just knowing his parents had seen stopped him in his tracks and he quickly surrendered to the company of his teacher. He seemed to always have difficulty with sitting still and attempting to learn things from books. Edward didn't want to disappoint his parents but he felt he would never be as comfortable with such things as his siblings were. There were times when he would be called upon by his parents to discuss his misbehavior when it came to studying his courses. It would set him straight for a few days before he would once again be back to his bad habits.

It took Edward a long time before he started copying some of his father Aquilo's clothing choices. After becoming a teenager he finally felt confident enough to wear a couple of the same pieces of jewelry as his father. He had always admired the beauty of the silver that hung around the king's neck. When he started wearing the jewelry daily it came as no surprise to the rest of his family.
