P E R S O N A L I T YReckless • Charming • Daredevil
Determined • Compassionate__________________________________________Insidious has a very intuitive character. Defyance seems to run through every discriminative comment shot toward him, and a fiery temper follows without a glare off target. On top of that, when put up nearly impossible tasks, Sin absolutely dismisses any odds that stand in his way. When his reckless behavior shows itself, it's usually accompanied by a cocky attitude, followed by a daredevil snare. Whenever these..emotions are present, it's only a short matter of time before karma slaps that grin from his face; like a sharp wake up call, with a hint of universal sarcasm. He is a very sensitive soul, but he refuses to show it. He seems to hide behind a mask of a provoking smirk and tends to really cast an intimidating impression at first glance. Yet in a more casual situation, Insidious is a very polite and thoughtful gentleman with a very provocative charm. And on rare occasions, depending on the person, even flirty. He is very quiet and sometimes drifts off into his ocean of thoughts that usually ends with an awkward silence or "Earth to Sin! Hello??". Despite his mocking personality, Insidious also tends to leave very reflective atmospheres when sharing his inner thoughts and feelings. He finds it embarrassing and sometimes really awkward to share his point of view of the world, yet when he shares his feelings, he truly has rather peculiar sentiments on certain things. He has deep connections with many things..and as hard as it may be to believe, love is the deepest temperament he truly understands...perhaps he has more understanding than he will portray..
"The darkest place I've ever seen was inside me. A dark shadow mimicking my heart. Nothing has ever frightened me more.
My advice? Do not fear Death, for he comes for us all eventually."

The Void of Despare
Rise of the Keymaster
The depth of suffering couldn’t compare to the desolating state of Insidious’ heart.
In fact, he had finally earned his name...he truly was an abyss. A cold killer. The darkness around him
was as bright as the sun compared to the calamity that was rapidly devouring every inch of him.
Wasn't that what they wanted? They had already taken so much from him..The love of his life, gone.
If they had meant for this to be Hell, Sin had to admit, Cytheious had truly outdone himself.
There was nothing more that could be added to his misery to make things worse than they already are.
On top of that, he had no back up plan. No one to call out to. No one.
He was alone; eternally this time. Yet, before all that had occurred, he had to admit, he regretted none of it.
It was all worth it. And even though he knew he’d be stuck in his purgatory forever, he knew he’d cherish every memory he had of his beloved Deschen. He could still remember how it all happened in vivid detail..
It was mid-autumn and Sin had never had it better. The winds were at their highest peak, and the heated summer days were beginning to come to an end. Cool, undisturbed nights awaited him...which would result in more time with Deschen. Insidious had met Deschen a few weeks earlier as he had just ridden into a small town known as Telvanni. It was a poor town, mainly made it's profit off of its crops and firebrand wine. It wasn't very highly regarded on local maps, so it was a good place to lay low for a while. Especially due to his current...profession. Which was to...well, steal things. He already had an eye on a rather larger than common Manner just on the outskirts of town. It was nearly midnight as he crept silently onto the roof of the Manner. Treading carefully on the roof tiles, he proceeded to the nearest balcony; and as he approached it, the most magnificent voice drew him nearer. A beautiful maiden, wrapped in silk and silver stood on the balcony. Insidious crouched there; captivated by her beauty and mystic voice. She was singing a tragic melody. It was beautiful...until Sin unconsciously shifted a loose tile..The maiden jumped and looked upon the roof to seed Sin, his face hidden beneath his cowl. Leaping from the roof, he landed with ease onto the floor and picked up tile, then briskly threw it off the balcony. He smiled thinly, and bowed. "Forgive me, milady for startling you. I mean you no harm..." he said in a charming voice. She smiled in return, yet made no move toward him. "Then if you mean me no harm...then who are you?" she asked, her ears pricked. They spoke for hours on end, Sin told her crazy tales of his adventures and they both laughed for a while. Until later, they agreed upon meeting with another once more..which turned into a nightly habit..until Cytheious found out and stole Deschen..Sin followed them toward the ends of the Earth..until they met another world entirely.
Insidious stood on the edge of oblivion. In front of him, a message written in blood barred his path: "Enter at your own peril and there will be a cost. To seek what you deserve, you must reach what you have lost." Sin's heart beat rapidly; he was so close...it was almost too good to be true. As he overlooked the abyss on the edge of his perch, his breath thinned dry as he spotted the obstacle in his way. A treacherous torrent of wind and fire arose before him; never ending currents swiveling menacingly. The flames of fire seemingly hissing in correspondence with the vortex. There, in the center of the whirlwind, Deschen pounded on her transparent cage; shouting and howling in anguish while shaking her head rapidly; her voice whisked away in the current; never to be truly heard. "I'm coming, Deschen!" Sin shouted. And even though he knew she couldn't hear him, he found comfort in just seeing her beautiful face in this desolate place. It was all the courage he would need to take the final step into oblivion. Leaping into the void, the flames licked at him hungrily, yet he fought through it. The pain hurt like hell, but it was nothing compared to what happened next. As he touched her prism; it disappeared..and Deschen's lifeless body fell before him; her pelt smoking. It was all a trap. It was his fault. Sin felt no need to continue on with life; and soon met his own end by fire as well. Yet his plan to reunite with his love did not go according to planned...instead of drifting to the land of the remembered, Insidious's soul wondered purgatory; land of the forgotten and ungranted wishes. Where he was now. With his head dropping and eyes dull...a sudden flash blinds him and before him, whom was Labyrinth, god of Souls. "Insidious. Rise and discuss your fate." Sin did as commanded; surprised to see a deity before him. "What do you desire most, Sin?" the deity asked. "I wish to see Deschen.." he whispered. "Is that all?" Labyrinth inquired. He nodded. "Very well...however. In return there is something I must ask of you. The people of the dead aren't happy and wish to see their living siblings..yet I cannot resurrect them...nor can I give them life once more..yet I can do something for them, but it will not work unless I have a champion. Someone to open the portals. Someone to watch over them for a period of 3 days every year. Every year upon that time, you may see Deschen..and many others. However there is a certain price..." he trailed off abruptly as Sin lept to his paws. "It is an honor..I will do whatever it takes to see Deschen again.."
And with that, begins a new story...the story of the Tri-Tale Keymaster.
