Kalon Adopts

Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

My second design as a GA!~ I forgot to say this on my first one, but I am super excited to be able to have this chance to design some Kalons for the community and I'm so grateful to everyone who supported my artist entries!~

:Reason:
MCR was probably one of Ronnie's favorite bands as a teenager, the music really spoke to her and made her feel like someone understood. Her life took an unfortunate turn when she was seventeen and diagnosed with cancer; while not yet in fatal stages it would take time to treat.
Her favorite verse, "Cause all my hair's abandon all my body" feel personal given her condition and while it'll never truly go away, she'll keep fighting. Soggy, worn down or tired, she'll push through life till the end.

Reason: They simply enjoy the sound and melody of the song, but also a handful of words chosen for the lyrics- it gives a lot to their imagination which they tend to struggle with otherwise, especially when reading books.

The lyrics tell about a friend. Abbie doesn't have too many friends, and certainly not any good ones. She tries her best to be that friend though. She is always helpfull and provides emotional support to everyone she can. She sits with anyone who is alone, and talks with them.

Krystal has always been very bubbly and accepting to those around her,
even though she comes from a very judgmental family.
This song is one of her favorites,

but she feels as if it's always promoting learning and acceptance of everyone!

Bakunawa grew up in a world where everyone turned their hate onto her, putting her down for the way she looked and how she was. Almost everyday did not go by without at least on fight, with Bakunawa being the one to lose. After years of gathering strength and courage, Bakunawa is able to finally stand her ground against those who bully her. This song was her inspiration. She felt it taught her not to let them stand over her, to push her down, and that she will get back up. She will not let them get to her again.

Reason: Bobbi is a huge fan of the song the Sound of Silence, by Simon and Garfunkel, but she has a hearing deficiency and can't hear higher pitches as well, so the velvety dark tones the version by Disturbed are just perfect. The obscure lyrics that are up to interpretation are her favorite, seeing as she has multiple theories of what the song is about. Some are more ridiculous than others, but her favorite theory consists of a dying civilization praising the last lights on earth.
