The young and solitary viscet's name translates to "spider" as Nehn's mother wanted him to keep his culture's language with him. Although his name includes accents, Nehn's mother wanted him to just keep it simple for others to recognize and say without being intimidated by the extra pronounciations. The thought of Nehn's mother naming him "spider" came from the fact that their family has had a history of encounters of venomous spiders attacking and potentially killing family members; Nehn's mother would not have been surprised if her son were to encounter and die from a venomous spider's bite, so she tried not to get too attached to him.

Nehn has never met, nor seen, his father; his mother has never mentioned anything about her husband throughout the course of Nehn's life. His father's whereabouts are unknown.

As a child, Nehn did not make much friends, perhaps it was because of how the other young viscets would find Nehn's tail as "weird" or "creepy," or maybe because of how Nehn would catch bugs and "experiment" on them. Either way, he didn't really care nor minded if he had friends or not. Although Nehn is not much of a social viscet with others, he is very social with spiders!

Nhen fell in love with spiders when he observed one making a web from start to finish. Although it may seem impossible to watch a spider create a web from start to finish, Nhen would not take his eyes off of the spider's silk that would come through the spinneret. Nhen would occasionally search for spiders out of boredom; that is when he spotted a golden silk orb-weaver. Well, he didn't really see the orb-weaver at first; what caught Nhen's attention was a finch all tangled up in a web. Once he saw the orb-weaver make its grand entrance, Nhen thought of a plan to make the orb-weaver his friend.

Over a course of 2 and a half months, Nhen would intentionally fool other small songbirds into the orb-weaver's net. He would hang a bird feeder not too close, but not too far, from the spider's web in a direction that would force the birds to go towards the orb-weaver's trap. Eventually, Nhen caught the orb-weaver's attention. The orb-weaver would let Nhen come close and hold it. After bonding with the spider, Nhen decided to name the spider Juct after attempting to translate and spell out "bird killer" in his culture's language.

After spending a whole year with Juct, Nhen did trust exercises with the 'weaver. One particular trust exercise included having Juct in Nhen's mouth, and hanging from the tip of Nhen's tongue with a thread of silk. Of course, Nhen never did any of these trust exercises in front of other viscets and people. In fact, Juct is a secret friend to Nhen; Nhen would never talk about or show others Juct. When Nhen would go out to places with Juct, he would actually hide Juct in his tail. Nhen's tail has a mouth that is supposed to be used to scare off enemies or predators, but his tail also has a pretty spacious cavity on the inside from where the mouth is... it's spacious enough to hold a family of spiders. Instead of having a family of spiders in his tail, Nhen just holds Juct in there and sometimes picks up fallen and injured birds with his tail, providing Juct a meal once in a while.

Inside of Nhen's tail, Juct would create a nice and comfy webbed living space. When a meal would fall through the mouth of Nhen's tail, it would fall right in front of Juct's eyes. Nhen may have spoiled Juct a lot and sort of made Juct lazy. Sometimes, Juct would throw a small spider party in Nhen's tail without him knowing. Nhen doesn't usually look inside his tail when he's off to places with Juct in his tail, so Juct would peek out to see any spiders living nearby the usual route Nhen would take; thus, Juct would send little signals to the neighboring spiders and have them sneak inside Nhen's tail.

#1 Even though I'm based on a spider.... I'm afraid of spiders.... Though it's not a normal fear because I love spiders, but there's some things that'll get me afraid of spiders (at that moment).... One is that if a least expect a spider to be on me/near me.... Two is that if I was looking at a spider or something along those lines, and if they were to full on me... And three if they did something weird that a normal spider wouldn't do.... Yeah I know OH WAIT! And if a had just had a nightmare about them and I saw some spiders after I woke up..... that would be freaky! (it has happened before too!)

Sambriel grew up in a poor household, she was the only child, and her parents were distant. Always worrying, always running. With a child born with such... different mutations the village's populace was very guarded against the family. Sam could defend herself just fine against the bullies and the corrupt law enforcers. But her parents caved much easier, casting her out in an attempt to ease their lives and get better favor from the townsfolk. No such luck, the two were eventually starved to death as no one would sell them food or drink, and they refused to leave.

Sam on the other hand kept going, she kept running farther and farther, eventually running into a kingdom called Feldahn. The big city she landed in had many different races, ehtnicities, and she was look upon in a lighter light, if she was noticed at all. Something akin to a home was found there. She still much preferred to stay outside the city when it came to living and sleeping, but she would spend many nights and days committing herself to defending innocent families from extensive burglary or attacks by local villains. She herself was a petty thief, but Sam had decided early on that it was their payment for her protection.

Story:
Nishant woke up slowly and turned to his alarm clock. He still had many hours away before he should have woken up. He pushed himself up tiredly and looked around wondering what had woke him up. He then realized the strange weight on his head. He reached up to it poked the thing on his head. It moved and he almost fell out of bed. He threw the thing away from him and watched it land on his bed. He stared at it still confused of what it was. The long legs where able to make a grown man cry. They were almost as long as his forearm. Then he looked at the face of the creature. He turned on his light and practically jumped out of bed. "Spider!" He quietly cried out. He didn't want his parents to come in and make fun of him for being terrified of a spider, but if they woke up with a spider on them he thinks they could have been terrified as well. He stared at the leggy creature as it walked towards him quickly. He ran to the corner and threw something at it. It froze as if it was horrified that Nishant would try to hurt it. It turned and climbed up the wall and disappeared. He took a deep breath and went back to his bed. He couldn't fall asleep so he decided to sit and maybe read. He soon fell asleep and he woke up to the same feeling, but it was all over his body. He looked down and many spiders were on him. He jumped out of bed and shook them off making sure he didn't get bitten. He ran out of the door with a cry and raced out of his home. What he didn't know was that the spider he had thrown something at only wanted a friend and had hung onto him the whole run. Nishant stopped at a park bench and sat down with a sigh of relief. The spider jumped into his lap and he froze about to cry out in defeat. It sat there as if holding his hand to comfort him. He stared at the spider and sighed, "H-Hi...I'm Nishant." He stared at the spider and slowly got accustomed to having it around. "I guess I should call you something. How about Acra? Because you are a spider..." He thought he saw it nod its head and smiled. He placed it on his shoulder and stood up once more and walked back through the town he lived in with his newfound and unexpected friend.
