'wish upon a star',
they say
wishing upon a cloud of dust
nothing special from what i see
blessed with the pallet of the sea
and cursed with the view of a star
the glimmering reflection of the ocean
overshadowed by the blinding light of the stars
how could so much life
so much beauty
be over looked by one star
a useless
spiritless
ball of light
only used for those desperate
but desperate for what?
a companion?
a thing in which they can talk to?
an object that will hopefully relieve them
relieve them of the pain and sorrow they feel?

stars cant respond
cant heal
cant help you in your darkest of days
stars can only shimmer and shine
brighter and brighter
till all they can do
is blind you

they take from you the one thing that can save you

-Nicaro is quiet and
reserved, she hates
crowds and being put
on the spot. She was fairly
happy with her life until everything
seemed to flip upside down when her
mother died.

--She fell into depression, failing
important classes and losing friends
because of her silence and bitterness
to almost everyone that came in contact
with her.

---She met a friend who changed
everything. And she slowly realized
that she had wasted all this time mourning
her mother which, she knew she wasn't
suffering anymore. She returned to her
normal happy state, with that friend by
her side to help her.

The feeling of emptiness grows,
that feeling your missing part of your life,
leaving a horrible void inside my chest.
Until, that someone comes.

And it all changes and everything seems ok for once

You start to enjoy life, enjoying the small things and big things.
That feeling where you could just feel happy with the presence
