Hello there!! i am a new guest artist for kalons and i'm super duper excited! I will most likely be making my kalon's on custom lines in photoshop from now on however i decided to give it a go on the official lines for my first babe ;o; I have worked with adopts before as i am an artist for kiamara's on deviantart however i am still getting re-used to the whole idea of judging contests rather than purchasing so bare with me if judging takes a week or so!!

blanket - a cloth used to cover his customers torso while he cuts their hair.

bag #1 - his scissor bag ! he keeps his razors & cutting utensils rolled up in
their holster.

big wooden rectangle - its practically a rectangle bowl that holds all
his dyes and possibly shaving cream. he also mixes his dye together in the
re, so if you look close enough you can see all the blotches of colors on th
e inside.

bottle - arnies favorite cup. he likes to drink orange juice out of it.

bag #2 - a bunch of rolled up magazines. he uses them for reference whe
n styling hair. customers cant read them because of all the notes hes scrib
bled on their pages.

cage + cloth - a basket that usually holds his lunch/dinner/breakfast. th
e cloth is his napkin, and covers the food so birds dont see it and attack h
im.

whats all this stuff on their back?: Alpine is a traveling wildlife rehabilitation and relocation specialist. This means they go out into the wilderness constantly to deal with calls for things like injured animals, abandoned cubs and even to help people out with animals that are in situations they shouldn't be in. They aren't an expert veterinarian by any means, but they're the Kalon that does all the wrangling to bring animals back to the clinic proper. This means they have to learn to be tough enough to effectively subdue the "patient", but also be gentle enough with them to make sure they don't hurt the animal any further.

Their supplies are usually pretty standard- a cage for holding the animal to bring home, gloves to try to avoid getting hurt by an angry animal (this rarely works to the fullest extent, and they are usually covered in scratches regardless), various blankets and towels to make everything comfortable, and some antibiotic ointment, bandages and sutures- not just for the patients, but also for themselves when they inevitably get nicked, stabbed, or clawed by an unhappy customer. They also have a specially made Control Pole and net in case things get really rough.

whats all this stuff on their back?: Dreams are the foundation of civilization. They are the inspiration, the turning points, the cement that seals the deal. They are beautiful, soft little wisps of hope and purity.

But nothing that is pure is without a predator. Doubt is the monster under the covers, the wolf in the forest, the shadow at nighttime. Doubt is what steals dreams and suffocates life out of them.

Auden lives to prevent doubt. Since he was young, he's fought for everything he desires. His biggest desire, however, is to be an assistant to the ones who can't fight off doubt on their own. Therefore, he packed up his favorite items and left to pursue a nomadic life. In his bag were his favorite things to save his dreams: dreamcatchers. Although the purpose of dreamcatchers is to filter out the bad dreams for when you sleep, Auden believes in a different purpose. He believes that they catch desires and plant them in your head, letting the seed start to sprout. So when he catches the glimpse of a poor soul who looks like they're recently been smothered by doubt, he hands them a dreamcatcher and bids them well fortune.

Of course, dreamcatchers aren't the only thing Auden carries. In a more well-protected pouch is a bottle of gold dust. His good luck charm, if you will. Anyone who looks to be in the worst of places gets a sprinkle of golden dust over their head and a pat on the back. His life's work is inspiring others to chase their own dreams and send them on their way there.
