Their Halloween Tradition: They light one (small) candle for everything they are grateful for, and one (regular-sized candle) for every friend they have made inbetween that Halloween and the previous one. If a loved one has died, they light five skeleton-themed candles and one blue one, to symbolize their sorrow over their death. After they have lit the candles in a location where they are unlikely to catch fire, they go to their door, sit on their porch, and hand out ice cream bars to the trick-or-treaters.

Every year on Halloween, or how Coraline's family likes to call it Hallow's Eve.
They like to gather together, around a dimly lit fireplace in their living room and pray for those in
their family who've passed away. After moments of prayers, everyone drinks Vietnamese lotus tea
with pumpkin bread and soup. Youngsters listen to the elders talk about the past and tell eachother
ghost stories. Coraline loves this tradition in her family, and wants to continue doing it for many generations.

There Halloween tradition is one they follow to the dot every halloween. Before the tricker treaters arrive she colors everything in the front of her house in washable glow in the dark paint. She paints her doors, window frames, trees and the grassy lawn in colorful glowing splatters. Her house looks like a big sign for kids to get there candy here! She also loves to cook pumpkin cookies and hand them out to parents who don't want to eat the candy.
