Registered Name: Wild and Free
Call Name: Leira
Gender: mare
Age: 9 years
Height: 14hh
Personality: Leira is a skittish mare who has minimal trust of humans. She forms close bonds with one or two people and doesn't let herself get close to others. To her fellow ponies she is kind and gentle, but is sensitive to others and their feelings as well as her own. She is easily offended and may find it hard to control herself at times.

Registered Name: Down in the Valley
Call Name: Wasilla
Gender: mare
Age: 5 yrs
Height: 14.1hh
Personality: Like the hearty little town of her namesake, this mare is just as strong willed and durable as she is wild. She doesn't spook easily and is as strong and mighty as the earthquakes that make the ground shake under her hooves. Although wild, she does have a soft spot for children, their innocent and pure hearts beckoning her like the sweet fireweed flowers around her paddock. Adults, however, may have a harder time trying to handle her as she likes to push her luck with their every order including a few nips here and there to hands and clothes should the handler not offer treats first.

Registered Name: Lavender Skies
Call Name: Skye
Gender: mare
Age: 6 years old
Height: 13.5hh
Personality:Skye is a shy mare but is ever so sweet and loyal to those who she makes that connection with. She is however rather skittish around humans still so gaining her trust and getting this connection is a rather difficult task...but...it isn't impossible. Though very few have gotten though to her, those that have find that she can be quite playful, following you around during your rounds and resting her head on your shoulders, she has even been known to help carry buckets! With in the reserve she is adored by the staff for not only her beauty but her amazing little character that only few get the pleasure to see. We hope to work with Skye and get her to a point where everyone that visits the reserve can see what a wonderful girl our Skye really is.

Here song is
"Amethyst" by LowCall Name: Amethyst
Gender: mare
Age: 2 years
Height: 13.2hh
Personality: Amethyst is a young mare, and still learning and forming her opinions of the world around her. Being so young, she hasn't completely learned to hate or despise human presence yet. She is weary and naturally fearful of the humans, as her herd has taught her to be. She is very inquisitive though by nature, with a brilliant mind. You can see her fear and her curiosity clashing inside her when she comes into close contact with the humans. When frightened or the contact with the humans begins to overwhelms her, Amythest is known for bolting and disappearing. She can usually be found in a shallow cave that lies near the base of the mountains, with the soothing sound of a creek close by. Its her "safe place". She is sweet and only semi-dominant with other horses. A "Don't start no stuff; Won't take no stuff" kinda gal. She has never offered to bite a human, and has only struck out in fear, not with any malicious intent. She would rather choose to approach the people of her own accord, when she thinks they aren't paying attention, than have any come up to and pet her.

Registered Name: A Requiem Of Rainfall
Call Name: Rei
Gender: Mare
Age: 12 years
Height: 14.2hh
Personality: Rei is a gentle mare, skittish and shy, and content enough to remain at the bottom of the herd's pecking order. She's far from ambitious and tends to view the world with accepting, easygoing eyes, more than willing to go with the flow when situations arise. There's simply too much that she can't control for her to worry about it, for Rei causes herself no small amount of grief spooking at shadows as she does, making mountains out of molehills. She pointedly turns a blind eye to the bigger things, at least until they physically demand her attention, for this very reason. She'd turn herself into a nervous wreck were she to try to think about anything outside of her little bubble, especially since there are times she manages the very same over things as slight as a whisper on the wind, or a shadow on her tail. Some would call her foolish and ignorant, even stupid because of this outlook, though they couldn't be farther from the truth. Rei has a brilliant mind, and can notice things her herdmates miss, as well as easily outwit most equines and predators she's come across in her fair few years. She understands when and where she makes her mistakes, and takes great pains to ensure that she learns from them, and doesn't repeat them ever again.
Those who refuse to learn from their mistakes are the fools, in her humble opinion, not that many care to pay the docile oddball any mind. In any case, and little fondness as she holds for some of her herdmates -or prior herdmates, as the case may be- Rei always has held a soft spot for the younger equines who'd yet to be turned against her. Those who were curious of her stories and the lessons she would attempt to impart, rather than dismissive. Even now, Rei continues to be fonder of the younger humans and equines around her, more willing to accept their bumbles and mistakes as a product of their youth, rather than being born of any true malic. Of course, her anxiety issues have earned her many remarks from old and young alike, much to her mortification, however she's long since accepted that it's just one of those things that she can't control, and strives not to let the comments and quips bother her too much, lest she end up colicking- again. Which marks the main reason why Rei has been moved to a different reserve, the prior one having been ill-suited to deal with her bouts of colic, especially with the size of the reserve and how long it could take for one of the rangers to reach her.
