VEXES are a peculiar creature, slender and most rodent-like, yet all the same so canid, and
even more. they came about after an apocalyptic nuclear war had the world deserted of all
except some few groups of people, who are a dying breed. other animals began to evolve and
grow to survive the new lands, genes mixing and mutating rapidly until they became a hardier
creature. their bones are hardy, but light in weight to allow them movement throughout the
world. new alterations came to their bodies as they evolved, and part of the maxilla of their
skull caved to give way for a new function. on both sides of their faces, connecting directly to
their nasal passages, are three sets of vents: this rids them of toxic molecules as they breath,
separating radioactive waste from the oxygen that they need. follicles within the vents help to
channel radioactive particles away from the nose as they are expelled, blown downwards and
away from the nose and face with each exhale that the vex takes. their talons are clawed, a
stronger kind of bone allowing for deadly grip upon what they cling to. quite similarly, the vex's
teeth are both large and serrated on one side, allowing for tearing and for good grip on prey.
though a more useless trait of their system, it is one designed for their more predatory pieces.
their inner systems are just as complex, delicate and easy to harm yet so hard to get to. their
immune systems are hardier than the usual, a hybrid of the animals that create their genetic
makeup. yet, their organs are fragile and easy to tear; it serves them well to have tough skin.

Personality: Dylan is in between hyper and low-active. He seems calm, but if you get a bit closer he is more up bea. He loves to move around almost like a nomad. He is well built for running and he takes that into his use. With this is runs chasing prey and traveling long distances in short times. He loves to run. Racing would vbe something for him. He moves well and is very quiet until you get to know him. He tries to be as funny as he can (even making cheesy jokes). He loves what he does and never wants to change that

Personality: Zedd is quite quiet and can be a bit reclusive. He prefers to stay at home with his gems, rather than hang out with other vexes. Most days he heads down into mines searching for gems. He is extremely dedicated to his hobby and is very determined

Chosen 'shiny': Zedd loves collecting shiny gemstones and crystals. He has a huge collection of crystals and gems of all shapes and colours, which he finds in abandoned mines and caves. He loves all the gems in his collection, but his favourite is his aqua aura quartz. He is captivated by its vivid blue colour, and he often brings it outside to watch it glistening in the sunlight.

Personality: Krieus is the most peculiar fellow, he prefers to be alone but hates not hearing or seeing any life near him. He is known to be distrustful and skittish, especially around new things, not to mention his anger is legendary when someone tries to take his items from his den.

Chosen 'shiny': when he was younger krieus found his most treasured item in the trash, ( yes the trash he's not ashamed of it) although he had no idea what it was he still loves it and guards it over any other items in his possession.

(Back story) The young vex was shuffling through some bins in a alleyway to find some food or creature he could possibly eat when he came across the most strange object he had ever seen. It was a sort of box he deducted, and it had some dings and scuffs making it seem dingy and dull but after he rubbed it's surface with his paw it gleamed a beautiful silver with what looked like a heart shape on the top. That alone was extremely interesting to the young vex but imagine his surprise that when he accidentally dropped it sounds came out! He carefully picked the small box off the ground and listened to the gentle melody it played, and after looking at the inside he could see something once was carved in the metal but what it said was lost to time. Shutting the box gently he took his new found treasure in his jaws and loped back to his den.
