Relationships:
Scarlett
Grey has known Scarlett since grade school, they met on the playground and have been great friends ever since. During their years in high school together they started up their rock band, Social Outcast, which is still running to this day. Scarlett is the guitarist and lead singer, though she may even be the drummer at points, Grey is one of the singers and plays the electric guitar though is best at remixing and adding background sounds (like rain effects or crying etc.). They crack really bad and vulgar jokes with each other, but know when to stop when it gets too bad, especially when one of them is having a bad day. Grey literally looks up to Scarlett as she's shorter, but she also looks up to her as a friend; she admires her determination and wishes to be more like her. Something that they often do together is practice for their next concert or eat ice cream, Grey sits on Scarlett's shoulders every time, no one really knows why, it just happened one day and it's happened ever since, it's just 'their thing' now.

History:
Grey was born an only child to a single mother who treated her like a princess, they had a strong bond and were as close as sisters rather than mother and daughter. At a young age, Grey's mom encouraged her to be everything she wanted to be, she even bought her a guitar at the age of six seeing how much her daughter loved music. Throughout her childhood, Grey practiced playing her guitar and even performed at local restaurants to help gain money for her and her mother to afford their bills each month.
While times were tough, the little gator never really minded her family's financial situation or the fact she couldn't have all the nice toys the other kids had, she was just happy she could have a mom as sweet and kind as her own. At the age of eleven, her mother bought her a pet rat which she named, Becky. She loved the little rodent more than anything, so much so that she even called her her sister.
---
As she grew into her teenage years, she found herself stuck between helping her mother and building up the band her and her friend, Scarlett began the beginning of their freshman year in high school. While her attitude had changed about their financial position, she still canceled any meeting the interfered with helping her mother around the house. She stayed a loyal daughter at the expense of more than a handful of friends, while this did begin to bother her by her junior year, she valued her mother beyond anything.
Half-way though her junior year she came out to her mother as pansexual and was expecting her mother be upset, but instead she was shocked to find out her mother was excited to hear her baby was beginning to figure herself out. The two talked about it for a few hours as they laughed and cried over the situation, Grey had never felt so close to her mom since she was a child.
After coming out, Grey began to notice her mother was more open about the subject and really enjoyed teasing her daughter playfully about anyone she thought her daughter would think cute by nudging her on the shoulder and saying things like, "She's cute huh!" or "He's so cute!" and so one. Grey found it to be amusing and often laughed at this and told her mom whether or not she thought they'd work together.
---
As an adult, Grey stayed close to her mom and only lived a few cities away, but at the age of nineteen, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. This tore her heart to shreds, and after hearing this she drove the three and a half hour drive to the hospital where her mother stayed. She refused to leave the hospital as she wanted to be there for her mother twenty-four seven, she even dropped out of her band during this time. As time passed however, her mother didn't seem to get any better and the both of them knew her time was coming. One late night during a thunderstorm, Grey was sitting besides her mother's bedside, her mom looked up and told her that she loved her and that she wasn't going to leave her now. This sparked a little hope in the little gator's heart, and she smiled, her eyes tearing up before she kissed her on the head and said to her good night.
As the days progressed, her mother was showing signs of getting better, and when the two of them heard this they cried for literal hours they couldn't believe the good news. A few months of further treatment and she was cleared as free of cancer. Years later her mother is still cancer free. Grey visits her quite often and even invites her to come watch her when she has a concert.

Place of stay:
Grey currently resides in a small apartment in the city, it's on the fourth floor but she never uses the elevator, instead she just runs up the stairs. Her little home is filled with musical equipment and hanging house plants of all sorts, she even has a few old radios she has either fixed up or is trying to fix. She has a great view of the city and can see the studio where M.J. holds his performances almost clearly in the distance.
More about:
Grey, despite being in a band, also works as an electrical mechanic, though not often for people other than herself or close friends. She finds working with electricity to be fun, that's a big reason she does it, as well as it's a big reason she enjoys playing around with background mixes when working on band tracks.
She owns a pet rat she named Harley that she loves dearly, she's not supposed to have pets in her apartment, so she's trained him to play around quietly and when other people come over, he hides underneath Grey's bed in a small little box filled with stuffed animals.
Grey prefers happy movies and love movies over scary movies, and despite how she dresses, she actually enjoys pastel colors and happy things over darker and scarier things. For example, she prefers fairies over vampires and such.
