"We All Have A Starting Point"
Nikolai Winston Stone has lived an entire life of twenty-two years in his family's kingdom of Solsune (Soul-sun-e), the eldest of six children. Deemed as the prince at birth the young man hasn't lived at all without that title tacked to his name. His family's subjects all await his time of being crowned the king of their little home. Yet as tender and loving as the young prince has a longing heart for freedom outside his area of power and a fear so deeply embedded inside his very being. "My mother and pa had always loved me, they do not fear me, no one does. They've always given me the world."
^^^
The world offers a life Nikolai a life that he can grow accustomed to without a fear of being in to much power. That is not his life now, he must live with his fear and his dream an endless battle to discover what is future will hold, right now he is in his beginning, a journey to embark to find the middle and the end.

"A Jigsaw Puzzle With No Edges Or Corners"
A person can never truly be put into a personality type or described spot on without a flaw. People are changing for the better or for the worse or not for nothing at all. There is no picture on the box to put a person together nor are there instructions. Yet everyone can try to do what cannot be done, put the pieces together and make a complete picture. Many people will describe Nikolai as a very selfless man, built with like the perfect man. He knows how to work through problems and come up with a plate of solutions to give everyone what they want with the knowledge that in the end, as the sun sets and they day closes, that is not possible, everyone has different wants and needs. Only four simplistic needs are the same; food, water, shelter, and oxygen. As problems in the community of Solsune arise instead of sitting in the throne room among advisers; making decisions behind closed doors, Nikolai puts himself at the front line. Where the problems are, experiencing them with his own senses and listening to the people in person, not from hearsay. Offering his own hands to rebuild run down buildings, broken fences so flocks of sheep or other livestock cannot slip out and cause havoc. "Those surrounding me tell me I'm selfless, understanding, dedicated, humble. Perfect prince material."
^^^
Any living creature will always have some flaws to them, no one can be picture perfect without a bad side. Nikolai often finds himself worn out from always bouncing around and offering his skills to anyone and everyone that needs them. Despite always being out in the community and others seemingly knowing much about him, he's secretive. Often keeping personal thoughts or opinions to himself and never explaining why he's getting what he is. Asking around the kingdom's subjects it's difficult to find many negative thoughts about the prince as those are hidden inside his very own mind, churning up negative thoughts; creating murky waters. Nikolai tends to believe his biggest negative trait would be his own self doubt. Eating away at him it's what creates every nightmare he can remember, the fear of his very own being. "My mind tells me I'll bring the downfall of my world."
^^^
Certain things come naturally to Nikolai, they give an extra side to him. These things are somewhat neutral offering either positive or negative affects to who he is. They are skills that can end the day with an extra edge of fulfillment or the option of giving Nikolai a deeper feeling of self doubt. A key element to being ready to be the leader of anything is to be organized, keeping your duties in order, the funds for projects, and even your own free time. Quickly, in the blink of a Kalon eye, being organization can bring a sense of just how much there is to do. Creating a mass amount of unnecessary stress upon his shoulders. Often keeping himself on a schedule and keeping everything he can organized he finds himself kept in line and able to make time for himself that he often needs at least once a day even if it's simply for five minutes. "Time is my own worst enemy besides myself."

A personal kingdom library left to him and his teachers, Nikolai prides himself with a great and full education; a level of knowledge often unmatched within the subjects that are not royalty. Keeping a few personal favorites locked away with him inside his own room, missing from the library's collection, then several others often handed down to young children as he teaches them to read. Often a problem arises from being so educated among citizens with very low education is he often finds himself pointing out problems in statements. Passing along knowledge from one person to the next and sometimes coming off as a tad rude to a certain group of older people. "Did you know the very first king of Solsune was actually a queen? Lady Mira Yune (yoon) went by the name of Lord Yoon and had a very dedicated heart to leading a kingdom, but needed to do so by disguising as a man."

"Calloused Hands Tell A Story"
Hard work exists all around the world no matter where in it someone stands. More often than not, Nikolai is often found wandering outside the gates of the castle and inside the city surrounding it. Lending a paw at Maurice's floral stall near the gate to the outside by tying bouquets; Mucking the stables when Jared Kane must milk his cows. Nikolai has a standing among the citizens of Solsune that those of royalty for many years have not. His face is known for a sweet smile and a humble walk as he greats everyone. His hands show signs of heavy labored work, even the finest brew of macline (mack-lean), could not soften the calloused skin of his hands. (Helpful reader note;; Macline is a moisturizer made my nurses of Solsune out of the native gene of violet lavender flowers, wheat, and crushed masoon (mass-soon) seeds) From his mother and father sitting inside the castle with very few visits outside into the heart of the town, he takes a very different approach to the life of royalty taking it into his own hands. He goes about hearing what the people have to say from their own mouth where it can't be changed by what the advisers think the king and queen want to hear.

Not all hard work is done inside Solune's wall's and territory or during the day time even. It's when the sun sets behind the rolling hillside dotted with illuminated farms and cottages and lights replace the sun that some of Nikolai's hardest work begins. After a rich dinner served to the family of eight by hired service, Nikolai states politley that he is off for his evening walk around the city; promising to return at eleven. It's is own little secret that only he and the single person he goes to visit knows about. Kellin Blaine a visitor from the United States has made a indefinite stay at the neighboring city several miles down the well traveled roads. With an thirst that can't be quenched to learn English the prince makes trips to visit Kellin as often as he can for lessons in the language. Gathering inside Kellin's rented farm house on the furthest edge outside of the town the duo exchange greetings in one another's langue. "Uso(U-so)," Kellin speaks the word for hello in Sune (sun-e ;; The native language of Solsune). In exchange Nikolai offers a heavy accented, "Hello Kellin."

After a while of hard work the two part ways and Nikolai heads back to his home to sleep until it resets and starts all over the next morning as the sun rises once more. "Hard work is something that shows you care, at least my pa always said. Funny thing is he never goes out and works with his hands."

"Mother Taught Me Love"
Nikolai had been raised for several years by his mother's hands, Lady Violetta Stone. She'd spread the word that she had been blessed with her very own angel that night he'd been born. Connected in every way for several years of his life, Nikolai and his own mother shared a deep connection, a similar mind in the way they thoughts. Violetta gave him every ounce of love she should, teaching the young prince that the greatest gift one could give to the world was his love. "Niko, love is what everyone has in common no matter who you are. Don't forget this gift you have, when all that seems that you can use is force please remember," Violetta had paused placing a hand on her son's chest, over his heart, "This is what keeps you alive. Use your heart to show compassion and love to those." Nikolai simply had never forgotten those words. When life became a hard struggle for himself, when his mother had given birth to his younger brother, James Stone, and he and his mother had grown apart. Then it was when she began to try and force him into marriage with everyone that suited her tastes. His love for his mother never faded and he knew to hold that gift close and show everyone his heart, wearing it on his sleeve and loving all.
^^^
"My mother taught me how to love the greatest gift of all. Even with my dark fears I know she loves me and I know she thinks of me as her perfect little prince. I want to make her proud, but I'm not so sure I can go on living this way."

"Father Taught Me Discipline"
Every leader would once need to rule with an iron fist if even for just a single decision. Quincy Stone was no exception to the rule, rather the king would choose this ruling more often than he did not. He isn't the most beloved ruler of Solsune to have lived, nor is he the most hated. Decisions made often upset one side of his kingdom while fill the desires of the opposite. Working from the throne with his wife at his side, they are a ruling duo each lending their own voice in the matter. ("My wife is not my property, nor is she just a prize for being king. She is the sun to my moon and offers the lighter side of a decision.") Little bloodshed has occurred the few decades Quincy Stone has been in power, minor disputes and several cases of criminal acts have lead to what little bloodshed there has been. Taking great pride within his own leadership skills as well as his own discipline, he reflects his own father's teaching onto how he teaches Nikolai. This would of course lead to subtle problems and disputes would begin to bubble between the father and son. Nikolai from a very young age had a sense of compassion where he'd give up his very belongings away to others with less; Quincy wasn't as compassionate, often too greedy to give anything of his own to others in need. Quincy is in no way what Nikolai would call a bad or abusive father, instead he looks up to his father as a sort of idol. In his upbringing Nikolai had his fair share of punishment from time to time and even a few bruises from a rough day's training.

Upon reaching the age of only ten years old Nikolai's father had taught him the way of discipline, the way a prince should act and hold himself, and while it was the case, he'd taken his own spin on his father's lessons. He's instead became a prince with a very different attitude that conflicts with his father's ideal view. The book wrote the outline for his rules to obey, but he colored them in with his own ideas.

"My pa has different views on how one should behave when in the line of royalty, but even with his good intentions in teaching me...I am not the same man as he is. He's taught me though, a valuable life lesson. You must have discipline to find yourself on the path to success."

"Give Me the Key, Let Me Out of Here!"
Gentle hues of reds, oranges, and pinks mixed with a hint of purple fill the sky as the sun casts its last few rays before nighttime. Everything has become to routine bustle within the tucked away kingdom of Solsune, shop owners shutting down returning to their homes and families until morning. Long shadows are cast along the paths, moving as their owner does, or standing still only growing longer as the sun gets closer to the horizon. A beautiful sight has always unfolded inside the walls, the castle's handcrafted stone work getting a warm glow at dusk. Colored glass panes casting dazzling, color filled reflections against sleek tiled floors. It was a story book kingdom when the nicest weather conditions provided every ingredient to create it.

Duties done for the day servants and advisers of the royal family left to tend to their own needs now, the next shift rolling in to handle everything for the night. Dinner took place in a long stretch of a dinning area, an ebony wood table stretching most of the length. Exquisite silver silverware and dishes placed at each seat even if no one was to be eating there. This room had imported glass panes for the four long windows along the left stretch of the room, rich ruby red curtains tucked shut , their golden ties hung on small hooks. A royal family of eight would be taking their seats soon, a meal made of only the finest ingredients and by the most experienced of chefs, many generations had all had their meals in this room. History at every chance from family pictures and painted portraits, to beautifully crafted gifts and trinkets given from visiting leaders. Softly the chime of a bell rings throughout the hall announcing dinner is about to be served. Thick, towering doors of oak on the other end are pushed open allowing the Stone family to file into the dinning room, light casting a dim light, the main lighting coming from two crystal chandeliers, held to the ceiling by black painted steel, crafted with fine details.

Everyone has a seat near the head of the table, seated side by side were Quincy and Violetta Stone (the king and queen) were seated at the head in fine crafted chairs, jewels tucked into the head. At the corner closest to Quincy, Nikolai sat in the standard chairs and after that all the rest of the Stone family took whichever seats they wanted as long as they sat together with no gaps. The family was carefully organized, each member taught how to carry themselves, their family name. All of them had their parts, yet no one had as much weight on their shoulders as did Nikolai.

Nikolai dressed in royal blue silk shirts, embroidered with the kingdom's crest in ruby red stitch. The spot above his heart held the crest which for Solsune was the sun with bird of prey (Julian's Hawk) soaring above. He was a beautiful young man, rich brown locks combed neatly to the right side, a silver clip keeping it from his face. Now by the end of the day the gel used to keep it down had nearly all worn off, the locks becoming an oily fluff. This always raised a slight scold from his mother, telling him even at dinner he should look as he did throughout the day. Having shrugged it off always with a polite chuckle he never bothered to fix it before dinner. No matter how much scolding his mother gave him for his appearance at dinner time Nikolai didn't change how he came, there was no need to waste time fixing his hair for a dinner with his family. The regular dinner time questions would be passed around the table from, "How was your day?" all the way down to "Any new problems arising with our kingdom?"

Afterwards a steaming banquet of food was set out in front of the family of eight, everyone piling food onto their plates, napkins settled across their laps. Nikolai took his regular helping of a little bit of everything, never taking more than he could eat so he wouldn't waste food others could eat by throwing it away. Once finishing his plate he cleaned up his cutlery and dishes, piling them up neatly and waiting for his family to finish up, once they had all finished he excused himself for his evening walk. "I'll be back shortly," Nikolai smiled kissing his mother's cheek goodbye as he headed out, slipping a clip back into his hair to hold it out of his eyes.

By now night had fallen, dark blues and purples having taken over the warm hues that had once painted the sky as a masterpiece. Stars were starting to dot a sky accompanying the moon settled high above the world, offering it's own night time light. "Good evening Nikolai is it already that time?" An older man in which Nikolai knew as the antique shop closer to the castle chuckled.

Dipping his head the prince chuckled in response, "It is William, well it must be it looks like you've closed up shop. Well then you have a great night I'll stop in tomorrow and help you with those big boxes in the back," he said waving him off and continuing along his path, taking an occasional deep breath of the crisp air evening air.

It was one of the few times Nikolai could find himself in the peace of his own mind with a lighter load of kingdom on his shoulders. This time was a very small sliver that fed his hunger for freedom. Despite loving his home, everything inside the walls of Solsune Nikolai had simply never felt like the prince everyone saw him as. Outside the walls he knew a world was awaiting to be explored, outstretched wings with a desire to feel the open air and soar above. Staying close to the outer edge, dragging his fingers gently against the concrete bricks. A numbing sensation filled his fingers, rising up along his hand and further until the lower half of his hand had lost all feeling of sensation. Deep inside his core he could feel the desire to feel like this throughout his entire body, even just a few minutes to feel nothing, no fears or worries. Nothing. "That's so selfish of me though," he whispered softly to himself tapping a small stone with the tip of his shoe.

His mother and father had been forcing his hand, pushing him into a crowd and jamming it down his throat that he needed to find a person to make his life partner, someone that would take the throne with him in the years to come. It was hard to voice it to his family he'd rather found a suitable partner, yet the man would not satisfied Quincy and Violetta's desires for their son's partner. If his parents weren't trying to get him to marry it was his own mind that turned against him, and everyone awaited his taking of the throne. To change his title from prince to king. Trapped inside a place for all of his life had made him simply wish to be free, "Mamma I want to learn English," he had told Violetta at a young age.

"Oh my little Niko there's no need to do that. Our own language is you're only concern. All your life, once you are king, you'll have someone to translate it all for you," she had chuckled ruffling his hair.

Simply enough not having a willing teacher to teach him, Nikolai had tried his hardest to learn on his own. From music sung in English to reading books, he'd worked his hardest to pronounce what he could, to understand the words and phrases in front of him. Without a proper teacher Nikolai truly never learned much, his pronunciations very chopped and overlaid with a thick Solsune accent. Sighing at his own thoughts Nikolai passed through an alley to reach the flower garden. Run by a few older women and a watchtower with a guard stationed there at night, Nikolai found a strange comfort in sitting in there for several minutes. As of the last few months it had also become on a Tuesday night that of a meeting place for him. Julius Melbourne was a captain of one of the military squadrons, a beautiful young man with fading freckles that dotted his cheeks and the bridge of his nose and normally a green cap keeping his copper curls out of his face. It was only a few months prior that the two had met at a ball Nikolai's father had thrown were the two had taking a liking to each other. Smiling up at the guard tower at the edge of the flower garden he awaited Julius to acknowledge him. "Jules are you enjoying the view from up there?" He hollered up, hand curling around a rung of the ladder and began pulling himself up.

No response was given until after Nikolai had made his way fully up and joined the captain in the tower. "How could I not? Another night without sleep is rough, but I mean look at this view," Julius smiled taking off his cap and adjusting his hair.

Eyes exploring the stretch of world in front of him Nikolai saw the world he had wanted to explore, rolling hills and towering trees flowing all along with dots of lights where small homes and towns resided. "I wish I was able to explore all of that, to be able to leave without a family always on his back about how you can't because you're a precious asset to the kingdom...," he trailed off as he propped himself up by his elbows on the railing gazing out.

"Well what if I were to take you out there one night doll? When I'm not working of course."

Twisting his neck and casting a glance over his shoulder his lips turned up in a small smile, "Jules I would very much enjoy that if you'd be so kind to do that for me," Nikolai said head slowing turning back to look over the world.

An arm settled around his shoulders and moved him a bit closer against Jules's side, the captain using his left elbow to prop himself up on the rail as well. "It'll have to be after I get back with my squadron, tomorrow morning we're headed out for a peace talk with a neighboring country of our strongest allies. Orders from your father's lips," he mumbled.

"Be careful then and I'll await for you to return," he murmured leaning against his side and smiling. Nikolai didn't bother looking up, missing the warm and loving gaze of the young man holding him.

Without anymore exchanges of words, both the prince and captain, stood up there enjoying the other's company for the next hour before the center's clock gave a dull chime. "Ah the time speaks again I must be going Jules my family expects me soon shortly," Nikolai said slipping away from Jules, offering him a tender smile.

"Goodnight doll, I'll see you again in the next few days, take care alright?"

"Yes of course Jules now you as well, be careful out there," Nikolai chuckled dipping his head and descending down the ladder and hoping back down onto the ground, back to the tower and the captain inside as he walked back towards his home. His night coming to a warm end.

----
Three days had passed since the night with Jules up in the guard tower, his promise to Nikolai of taking him on an exploration of the outside world. Now Nikolai was awaiting the squadron's return, seated on a bench near the gate, a book in hand. Often lost in the text of whatever he was reading, unaware of the world surrounding him, Nikolai found concentrating on his book today a dueling task. Jules would be returning at any given strike of the clock and a dream he'd been holding onto for so long to be fulfilled. Gates moving past each other, briefly hitting one another in which created a dull bang, drawing Nikolai's attention up, eyes focused on the now open gate.

Clad in standard Solsune military uniforms several members of Jules squadron has passed through, something seemed off about them. Nikolai noted the trio held themselves in a rather stiff position minus a small limp emitted from the smallest of them. "Prince Stone greetings," Harold greeted (the youngest of Jules's squad, only son of Joyce Kimber, a single mother and owner of the flower stall a few yards from the gate).

"Afternoon Harold, how did everything go?" He asked flashing a friendly smile and shaking the man's hand.

The young man's face had fallen, dropping the friendly demeanor as his fellow officers stopped walking. "Not as well as Jules had hoped for. They weren't much into compromising and things turned a bit physical a few of our comrades had taken brutal hits...Dmitri Grey and Julius Melbourne have passed during this trip..."

Every word after what Harold had said slipped through Nikolai, everything he could hear was a never ending repeat of, "Julius Melbourne has passed". The ground moved underneath him and he simply nodded his head turning away on trembling legs. Swallowing tightly he tried to keep his head together, the blood in his body turning cold as he continued to walk away. Jules was dead, it had only been three days since they had last talked, neither did them speak the three simple words they had been holding back. 'I love you'.

Tugging his jacket tighter around himself Nikolai let his feet carry him back to the castle, feet passing over the ground of the courtyard and into the rose garden, the bronze gate swinging shut behind him. Falling down onto a hand carved bench, warmed from the sun, Nikolai clutched his jacket in white hands, blood drained out of them. What if they had been living normal lives? Could they have been happy together? The perfect life in which Nikolai had been seeing in his mind? "I just want a normal life and Jules back," he whispered weakly, using his hand to quickly wipe away his tears.

"Wish Upon A Star"
Dreams can range from the simplest thing to the most extravagant of plans or even a dream could be for someone what a nightmare is to the next. Throughout the years Nikolai's dreams were always changing, yet at the same time they were not. In the beginning he dreamed of an adventure outside of his kingdom to being the perfect son for his parents. Most if not all of his dreams had changed in one way or another. Now pinching the steam of a dying flower, plucking it from the ground Nikolai had found his biggest dream. Nikolai Stone had been searching for so long to find a life partner to bring with him when he became the king and had at one time found the one he had wanted to bring with him. Knowing what a fruitless effort it would be to waste his time dreaming to have that man back at his side. On occasion Nikolai is asked what his biggest dream is, in which with a tight smile he responds as cheerfully as he can. "My biggest dream is to see Solsune flourish for long after I am gone, after the Stone name dies and a new one replaces it." It isn't a lie, yet it isn't the whole truth either. Swallowing tightly Nikolai knows deep down his biggest dream is to move far away from Solsune, to America and live a sub-normal life, to live the life in which he had dreamed about for so long to feel the weight of being the prince lifted from his shoulders.

Squeezing his eyes shut tightly letting himself sink into a void of pitch black, hand balling into a fist around his own wrist. Simply enough telling himself and others that he had some huge scale dream as all an act to feel normal to hide away the fact that Nikolai didn't in the slightest of ideas know what he truly dreamed for. "There is no one dream that covers everything I want," he whispered to himself looking at the crushed flower in his hand.

In the end some might be able to tell you what their biggest dream is, their most desired want in the world, but Nikolai has never found one that is never changing and maybe in the end his most desired dream is to find out exactly what it is he is searching for in life. The path towards being Solsune's king offers him a world filled with just about everything anyone could ever want and need, then there are other parts of life that Nikolai feels would do the same. With everything wrapped up, laying on his own deathbed it may dawn on Nikolai Stone what his biggest and most desired dream has always been, standing right in front of him, but until then. Until a moment that makes him open his eyes, Nikolai will always lie about what it is.

"Let My Own Hands Be My Demise"
Fear often has a unrelenting force that pushes its owner around, wrapping its ugly arms around and pulling them under the waves, drowning them. Nikolai understands fear well, everyone has something they fear, their one true soft spot, the chink in their armor. From the fears of darkness to being alone and even a deeper fear that is something everyone is prone to letting control them. Nikolai has always been afraid of himself. Not death or spiders or never finding someone to love. It's his own mind and hands in which he fears. Well enough from the books he's read he is well aware that he's capable of destroying everything he loves. Several books have played a hand in growing his fear, a few of Solsune history books on past leaders and dangerous other members of royalty that stirred trouble and perhaps one of the most influential has and always will be Machiavelli's The Prince. A book Quincy Stone had close to him throughout teaching Nikolai how to lead, how to be a prince. Upon reading the book through several times at a young age Nikolai sees himself as a ticking time bomb. "I'm a monster waiting for someone to light my fuse, to make my grand entrance and cause everything to crumble at my feet with blood stained hands."

In dreams, Nikolai often saw himself seated on the throne, his smile gone and replaced with a mean scowl, full of hatred and power. His throne surrounded by various treasures, bones, and blood. Solsune was a broken kingdom, buildings burnt to the ground, smoke still billowing to the sky. All Nikolai ordered was to cut down on supplies given to the citizens, already starving and cold they were a useless aspect. Nikolai saw exactly the monster he would be become and it made him wake up in a cold sweat clutching at his chest every time. He'd try and wipe blood that wasn't there from his hands, eventually turning his skin to an irritated red. Eventually halting his attempts Nikolai held his head, crying into his hands so he wouldn't wake anyone else. This was his own problem to deal with alone and to put the burden on anyone's plate was simply not an option. So instead Nikolai places a mask of happiness over his own face to hide the fear boiling right under his skin, coursing through his bloodstream.

Nikolai sometimes sits up in the dark cover of his room, legs crossed and hands placed in his lap. Unable to sleep, afraid of the scenes that'll unfold before his closed eyes, he rolls a small marble between his hands. The smooth glass cooling the previously irritated skin, still warm to the touch. A perfect mix of a clear white with a touch of royal blue swirls, as if someone had taken a drop of ocean and swirled it in with glue, it had originally been a gift from Julius's mother to her son to whom had passed it down to Nikolai for safe keeping. Whenever he felt like he was being suffocated by himself he pulled it from the top drawer of his nightstand, rolling it over his skin. "I'm still a monster no matter how much I tell myself I'm not, I understand that, but is it wrong that I try and tell everyone I'm happy?" Nikolai asked himself softly kissing the marble and setting it aside, settling down onto his side to return to his slumber.

"I do not fear death, or the simpler things in life, I fear myself, I fear my own mind and my own hands...My everything."

"Feathers And Venom; A Look At The Next Chapter"
Nikolai now is twenty six years old, Quincy Stone has stepped down from the throne, the crown in his hands with his son on one knee before him. Behind the royal family is each citizen of their home. "Today I will step down from the role of king, I am growing old and for the best interest of Solsune I give leadership over to my son," Quincy pauses to clear his throat. "Nikolai Stone, behind you is your kingdom. In the years of your studies and lessons from birth you've gained a plethora of support and love from everyone and now I give you the title of King, please rise," the words fall on obedient years as Nikolai stands.

Quincy's head is bare, the crown no longer his possession. Now Nikolai sports the golden grown, accented with silver, the center point (tallest of the set) holds a blue sapphire. It catches the glint of the intruding sun, casting a blue hue over Nikolai's face. "Please son take care of our kingdom," Quincy whispered to him as he stepped back.

Taking in a deep, unsteady breath Nikolai nodded as he turned to face his kingdom. His eyes moved over the crowd, catching sight of familiar faces and as he began to speak his heart dropped. Thoughts beating at him. "This is my kingdom now...I am the king now and I'm going to become a monster," he thought weakly, giving a thankful speech before he retreated back into his room.

Now it was a waiting game to see how long he'd be the same until the time came and he brought destruction to Solsune.

"Time To End (Author's Note)"
Thank you for reading my from, as I ended up having a lot of fun with all of this art and writing. All art is done by me or the amazing Kaitlynzer (The pixel art). I would personally like to say thank you to them for all of their help. As for my form, there's a few things you can click, images lead to larger pictures/full version, while linked titles lead to songs. I have fallen in love with Nikolai and see a great character with an ever realistic fear of himself, that he will become a monster. Lastly I would like to say I ended my form where I did to leave more room for development, the mystery of will he truly become what he thinks he will or spend his whole life worrying about something that won't happen? (My apologies for the large lack of art...I just got.home from work and didn't have time to finish my art I wanted to add but decided to leave the dividers to leave either neat I really hope it's okay, it's been one of the few forms I have worked up until the last minute on)

The end.

Marking, please do not use my ideas
-biggest fear is himself
-very sweet prince of his family's small kingdom
-doesn't know much of the outside world
-very poor English, was raised in his kingdom's native tongue
-plays the violin
-for the sake of my form I will mostly write the story parts where they speak with an English translation
-the entire language of the kingdom is made up by me, for me
-likes music song in English despite not knowing what it is saying
-"I love all of the living creatures on this planet"

[size=1]Writing storage, drafts that probably won't be used in the end;
Freedom is a greatly desired dream of many, locked away without the key out. Simply enough why would a promising prince, whom everyone has a love for desire anything else outside of a world of promised riches? Kellin Blaine always had that thought on his brain upon meeting the prince of Solsune alone in a village several miles from his gated kingdom. A young man with a promised future greater than many elsewhere, an education unsurpassed by any others, and a heart of silver was what he'd met one mid-evening. Nikolai Winston Stone had come to him, probably not of sheer choice, but by coincidence. The two spoke a language neither knew a lick of, Kellin having only heard a brief conversation in the language in the town not to long ago; Nikolai knowing from his music of what it was the stranger spoke.

Communication was sketchy and very difficult to grasp for each man, a game of pictonary had unfolded as they scribbled out pictures of what they desired to know.

Dark brown hair combed neatly to the right with a small silver clip keeping it there he was everyone's dream to have take their hand and make them his partner. Nikolai often allowed himself to give everyone a little taste of what they wanted, flashing sweet smiles and giving them dazzling compliments he played in their game of make believe. His mother and father tried to push him into their picture perfect vision of him, already engaged with a royal girl or man. He let them have their fun in setting him up with those they saw fitting, yet never kept it going. Nikolai could tell his family he wasn't looking for a partner, it never appealed to him

had been with her eldest son for the first few years of his life, until his baby brother, James Stone, had been born. She had never intentionally tried to lose touch with Nikolai as he grew older, always making sure to tuck him in and sing him a lullaby. Lady Stone had a sweet voice with a deep set compassion and motherly love for her children, constantly teaching Nikolai, her little Niko (Nick-o), lessons about life when she could. From how to eat like a prince to showing everyone love, she held all of her pride in Nikolai deep in her heart knowing he was the right man to lead Solsune when her and her husband were gone.

"Nikolai Winston Stone is my eldest son, now at a prosperous age of twenty-two, he shows everything a prince should have and more. He looks so much like Lord Quincy Stone, his father. I tried so hard to teach him how to love people, that everyone had a side to them with an important trait that helped the world. My little Niko works harder than any member of the royal family in generations and it just makes me heart swell to know he'll be leading my home kingdom of Solsune."
---
"I have a love for every little aspect of this world we call home from the tiniest insect to the towering trees. Yet the birds, kings of the sky and spiders, owners of fear awaken a part of me," Nikolai scribbles down in the leather bound book he holds. Black ink sinking into the worn pages, spreading past the words he's written creating blotches, misshaping the words.

Blowing gently on the drying ink Nikolai shuts the book, placing it back underneath the down filled pillows, hiding it away from prying eyes. Outside his room, slipping through the opening in his window is the rhythmic tune of the morning birds and a smile is pulled up onto the prince's lips. There's a warm feeling filling Nikolai's chest as he leaves his room, the door closing with a soft 'thunk'. Entrapped in the walls of Solsune, unable to leave and explore the world as he wishes on his own, he settles for the soft song of the birds. As they fly on wings made up of velvet soft feathers, singing joyous songs, bursting of colors they stir up a false feeling of freedom inside his tightening chest; constantly being pressed down by the weight of responsibilities. Clasping his hands behind his back Nikolai makes his way down the spiraling set of stairs, passing by the kitchen staff and slipping out into the courtyard. That's where he finds his five year old brother, Dawson Stone, playing with wooden swords with his sitter. A loving smile has began his current expression giving a small chuckle.

A family of eight had simply always been a handful for]

kalon name: Ash
kalon gender: male
personality: feral/protective
biggest dream:(50 word minimum) Ash wants the forest he lives in to flourish. Before he came around, humans would frequently visit the forest to hunt all of the animals it inhabited, resulting in an unhappy and dangerous environment. Ash is still trying to keep the humans away and the forest to be happy again. He has basically become the protector of the area, as the residing animals call him "The Forest Guardian", respectfully. The kalon doesn't care for titles, for he just wants to do what is right.

biggest fear:(50 word minimum) Ash's biggest fear is that he will fail at his job of protecting the forest. He knows he can't keep all of the humans at bay, but he has at least stopped most of them from coming back. It seems that they are after him too- having more fur than the average kalon would look nice on a coat, they must think. What the humans didn't know is that Ash is very determined to stay alive, most importantly for the forest.
