How you greet the mare;
The wind howled at night as I struggled to head back home as quickly as possible. It was already dark and a storm was approaching. As my heavy feet carried me across the muddy trail, a stallion trotted up. I stopped in my tracks and so did he. We both looked at each other before the stallion trotted towards me. It wasn't really the best time to be making a friend but something about the stallion was so intriguing and thus, I raised my hand out and stroked his muzzle. He neighed and closed his eyes as I stroke him. A clap of thunder sounded and I jumped. The stallion calmly opened his eyes and backed up, giving me one last look before heading back to where he came from and I, quickly hurried home.
