What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

Owner: Merlin's Heir
Show Name: Queen of Gold and Silver
Barn Name: Empress
Gender: Mare
Age: 5 years
Halter color: Dark leather
Pearl/jewel color (halter): Dark translucent gold
Personality: Empress is as her name suggests: a born leader - but also a warrior. Had she been a queen of a medieval kingdom, she would've led not only from the throne, but also on the battlefield. In every situation, she assumes a leaderly role - which sometimes causes friction with others who aren't so keen on being the followers. Her feisty responses often land her on thin ice in these scenarios, but the silver in her name is also on her tongue, and her way with words is, more often than not, just as convincing and inspiring as her temper is wild and antagonizing.

Show Name: The Sweetest Rose
Barn Name: Jull "Joolll" (Arabic - "Rose")
Gender: Mare
Age: 7 Years
Halter color: Eye Color
Pearl/jewel color (halter): White
Personality:Stubborn | Sneaky | Sweet | Calm | Determined | Educator
Jull shook her mane and then walked out of the shelter, joining some of the herd who had already gone out to graze on the dew covered grass that shimmered in the morning light. A light mist rose from the earth, shrouding the earth around them. She took a deep breathe of the cool morning air and walked further across the field in search for grass that had not been grazed down too far. A foal followed her out of the shelter and nickered as she bounded off to join a few of the other foals who were chasing each other around and waiting for their mothers. Jull welcomes the foal, greeting her as she passed and smiling at the youngster, glad to see young creatures so full of life. She grazed as the mist cleared and the sun rose higher, and then the owners finally came to fetch them. It was coming close to lesson time and they liked to have the horses in pens for the lesson students instead of the field.
Jull lifted her head and watched her owner approach and place the halter over her head. She did not mind when her owner caught her, but she was not so easy on lesson students. She was led out of the lower field and into a smaller pen, though there was still grass and a shelter in it. One other Khimaira was placed in the pen with her, a fellow herd member from the lower field, and the two enjoyed the quiet together as they awaited for the students to arrive. They watched the vehicles arrive, parents and students parking their cars and meeting with their teacher. They all made their way into the indoor arena, but only the children came back out with halters in their hands and a bounce in their steps. She enjoyed seeing the sight of excited children, but she did not plan to make learning easy for them.
The gate swung open and two students came into the small pen, both with halters hanging from their shoulders and a sparkle in their eyes. Her pen mate stayed still as the child walked up to her and slipped the halter over her head, but Jull decided to cause a little trouble. She picked up a trot and headed towards the far side of the pen as the girl approached, and she quickly followed to keep up with the mare. Her arms out as she approached and slowed down, trying to get the mare to stop, but she was stubborn and determined not to get caught. She had the girl running in circles until the instructor came out and entered the pen. "What is taking so long?" she asked in a confused tone. "She keeps running around the pen, I can't get near her." the child replied, pointing at Jull who seemed to have an innocent look to her. The instructor sighed and gave Jull a disapproving look. "Why must you always cause trouble for new students." she shook her finger at the mare and took the halter from the child, placing it over the head of the horse and handing the rope to the child. She allowed herself to be led inside, and she was soon tied in the stall where the student started to brush her.
Her butt was out towards the alley, and her halter was tied to a hook on the wall with a slip knot. She reached over and grabbed the hanging rope, pulling it to loosen the knot and finally release it. She turned around and looked down the alley to see the girl looking stunned, and then annoyed as she walked over and grabbed the lead rope, leading the mare back into the stall and tying her up again. She then went to brushing with the supplies she had brought, getting the dirt and grime out of her hair. She went to pick up the hoof, but Jull refused to lift her leg, acting as if she did not feel the child pulling on her leg to lift it. It wasn't until she felt the light tap of the hoof pick did she lift it and realized her owner was giving tips across the alley way. Her hooves and hair was clean and the girl went to return the brushes and get the saddle. Jull once again went and pulled the rope loose, then turned around to face the alley, only to be stopped by her owner who once again tied her up, more securely this time. She felt the saddle go on, and listened as the instructor showed the young girl how to position and cinch up the saddle, then came the bridle. Whenever the girl removed the hold on her nose she would lift it up into the air, and she did this a few times before allowing the child to put it on her and get the bit in her mouth.
The lesson was just as tough, Jull always cutting corners and popping out her shoulders, making the instructor constantly correct the girl riding her, but she was also giving the mare a look. She knew the mare was tough on new riders, but she thought and hoped this young girl would be able to handle her, or at least not give up trying. The girls started to pick up on things, and Jull started to go a little easier on her during the second half of the lesson, giving her a sense of accomplishment before she dismounted and led Jull back to the stall to untack and brush. She did not play any tricks as the equipment was removed and she was led out to the pen in which the girl had fetched her from. The other Khimaira from her herd joined her soon after and they enjoyed the cool water provided along with the grass in the pen even though it was shorter then the grass in their field. They relaxed for some time before the next set of students arrived, and then the process began all over again.

Show Name: Redeem My Heart
Barn Name: Cora
Gender: Mare
Age: 8 years
Halter color: Black
Pearl/jewel color (halter): Same as eye color
Personality: Cora is a gentle mare with a heart of gold. She is fairly good at ignoring bad attitudes or mistakes and will try to fix them. She is tolerant of most things and doesn't let much bother her. She is very friendly and loves to spend her time with foals. Cora's calm and compassionate outlook on things make her a happy-go-lucky mare and she's usually optimistic about things, however there is one thing that will get her down. She's terrified of thunderstorms. They're her worst fear, and she hates being somewhere open, like a riding ring and especially a paddock, if there's one going on. Otherwise she is tolerant of other things like birds or loud people. She is very calm and friendly to others.
maybe wip idk yet

Personality: Below in the form of a poem.
"The Queen Is Here"
Look out
Beware
Here comes the thief
Here to take what's mine and yours
Burns bright like an ember
Her flame never dying down
All around
They tremble and fear
Afraid to move when she comes near
Holds herself like a queen
Though no royalty runs in her blood
She will be back soon enough
To clam her fortunes
Look out
Beware
The queen is here
