to put it simply, kanta is very bad at making friends. ever since he was little, he's been quiet and the more shy kind. when strangers talk to him, he gets very excited and flustered and ends up stuttering and making a fool of himself. this has proven to ruin things many times. all of his past friends have had to approach him first. he wants to talk to somebody, but just can't get himself to do it. it takes a long time to get kanta comfortable with newcomers, but once he is, all he wants are cuddles and reassurance.
