But as he continued to watch her from afar, he began to notice how tired and sluggish she seemed during daylight hours and he couldn't help but worry for her despite that he has never spoken to her. So Darby spent weeks researching various herbal remedies to help with sleep and eventually managed to make something that didn't taste like dirt. After fighting his own anxiety about approaching her, he managed to gather up enough courage to stutter out a quick hello and hand her his herbal drink. He had initially planned on giving the drink to Dusk and leaving but found himself stuck in place when he made actual eye contact for the first time. It wasn't until he realized that he was just standing there and staring, Darby realized that he should explain his gift and from there their friendship began. As he continued to learn and get to know Dusk, the butterflies seemed to only multiply and make him a even more flustered mess than he was before. And when she finally revealed why she was so tired all the time, Darby realized that he was hopelessly infatuated with Dusk. The fact that she dedicates her nights to a comforting the young goat she had found abandoned simply amazed him with the compassion and kindness behind it.

While he often comes off as passive aggressive or flat out aggressive, Olivia has managed to make this lone wolf stutter and stumble over his own words, and even trip over his own feet! (He'd been too fixated on her to notice a tree stump in his path) While he'd never admit his feelings for Olivia, he secretly hopes she's braver than him, and would make the first move. After all, the lone wolf shouldn't need anyone... right?

It was a cool Autumn morning when she arrived. The air was crisp and the leaves were falling as I got up from my lonely nights sleep. I saw two men watching from afar as a new cow walked to the herd. As my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw her full beauty. Her gentle looking eyes, her elegant stride and her captivating, soft looking mane. I stood there like a statue with my eyes glued and mouth wide-open. While I was in this daze, the bigger bulls finally noticed the cow and rushed to greet her. She slowed her pace as they came bounding up, their eyes nearly popping out of their sockets. By the look on her face, she was not interested in being crowded. I frowned sadly as the bulls surrounded the cow. I turned away, upset, that once again my hopes and dreams were crushed. Suddenly a distraught sound filled the air as the new cow ran away from the crowd of bulls. I was stunned as she ran past me towards the line of trees at the end of the paddock. The bulls stared in shock at me before glaring, I know what will follow...

Bruised and stiff, I limped to the safety of the trees. My body ached and my head was lowered. This wasn't the first time the bulls have hurt me because something didn't go their way... I almost made it to my sleeping place before I heard a gasp. "Oh my-... Gosh!" stammered a feminine voice. It sounded like the softest silk. I looked around quickly to find the owner of the voice. I didn't need to wonder for long because the new cow leapt out from my sleeping place with a worried look on her face. "Are you alright?? You look pretty bashed up," she fussed, her eyes twinkled in sympathy for me. "No..no, i'm fi-" I start as she cuts me off, "You should really sit down! Maybe you should go to a vet? Oh! I think i may know some herbs to ease your pai-" "Wait! Don't worry I really am-" I start again before I lose my balance and tumbled to the ground. She gasped and rushed to my side. I looked up and saw the, cows face, it was twisted in fear for me. "Don't worry, i am fine!" I reassure her again as I got up and limped to the soft patch of grass which was flattened by the other times I have slept. As I laid down, the cow shifted her weight from hoof to hoof. I watched her for a second before finally catching on. "Oh! oh... would you... like to stay here-?" I asked slowly, gesturing with a flick of my head at the space beside me. "With me?" The cow's face relaxed a bit but she still looked tense. "I won't hurt you! I promise!" I quickly added. "I know that," she chuckled, "its just that... I don't even know your name?" How stupid was i? I should have said!! "Uh... Dust, my name is Dust... and yours is...?" "Adeline, and I wouldnt mind staying here," she smiled warmly as she laid down next to me. We started talking to each other so then after an hour of getting used to each other we finally went to sleep...

This shocked Eros, no cow has ever done this around him before. He went over and snugged her shoulder with his nose to get her attention, she looked at him and asked him what he needed. He just stood there in awe, she not only didn't seem to fall for his obvious charms but acted like he was just any other cow, he snorted and stomped off mad. She just blinked confused and continued her day dream.This continued on for weeks with him trying to get her attention but to no avail. He was getting frustrated but then he stopped and though to himself "why ?.. Why am I so frustrated, It's not like I care if she likes me or not. there's tons of prettier cows here, like Roselia. It's not like I'm falling for her.." but then he realized something he DID like her, she was different form other cows she saw him just as any other bull and he actually liked it. With this new realization he made a vow to himself, that he will win her heart and now other cow could replace her. And to this day you can see Eros trying to win over Celia's affection by any means he can think of, if only she'd stop daydreaming to realize what he's doing..
