What is a Zyper?
It's unsure where the first Zyper came from or what they are related to. They are a creature shrouded in mystery and conspiracy theories. The Zyper stands at approximately 70cm to 1 meter tall. They wear a thick mane of hair from the top of their head to halfway down their back, with bare back legs and a large plume of fur on their back end. They also have multiple feelers coming from their body which looks like a feather/leaf on a branch.
Zypers can make great companion animals if they are given strict rules and training.

Onyx's personality is a bit strange, as his main characteristics battle each other quite often. He is generally a shy one though at times he is looking for adventure, some say that it is because he is yet to grow up that he is still shy but he thinks it's because of his makings and that when they finally glow in the night that he will no longer be afraid of anything. Yet he isn't as simple as being shy for a little then a rascal the next, sometimes he is more complicated than originally thought, as instead of screeching when he sees something he doesn't like he may or may not decide to find what it is. Which of course would depend whether he is in a shy mood or not, others think that he will eventually grow up and become a leader of some sort, though they are not sure what kind of leader or whom he will lead.
History:
Ever since Onyx was small he got picked on, he never knew if it was because of his unusually small size or the fact that he had very bright plumage and markings compared to the others. At a young age Onyx was quite small, smaller than all of the others his age that he had seen, he always thought there was something wrong with him. He used to think that, but now since he has grown much more than any of the other Zypers. He was and still is above the average height, from the tip of his ear when upright he is one-hundred and forty-six centimetres tall. He felt special, like something had happened to him and meant something in the future because now all of the little ones look up to him when ever he is racing as due to his size his legs end up bigger and muscular so that now he is the fastest known Zyper.

Fireflies, Onyx was surrounded by fireflies. Their bright yellow colours were everywhere and he loved it, their colours glowed like his markings. He was only a couple months old when he got lost in a dark forest, he ran for what seemed like hours around that forest, winding in and out of the gigantic trees. He reached a river where the water was shining as the little fireflies danced above. They looked like little yellow dots in the water, each time one went down a couple others followed. They soon all joined in on one dance, around Onyx. His eyes shined with happiness as he joined in on the dance, although he could not fly the fireflies came down so that they could all dance together. After an hour or so he was so tired he could barely walk, as he was trying to play 'tag' with on of the fireflies he walked straight off into the river near where they were dancing.

Personality: Alastair is quiet and fairly intimidating, but is the sweetest Zyper you could ever possibly meet!
Alastair enjoys the company of others, but often finds that he is at a loss for words when trying to express his emotions.
He is daring and playful, wanting to explore everything and anything, never wanting to leave a rock unturned when he sets out on his long adventures. Alistair dreams of travelling to the stars someday, to bring back wishes for his friends <3
