The main reason Teyn became a colour consultant was because one of his friends became colour blind when he was about nine or ten. This made Teyn realize how important colour was to the world, even if some people can't see it. He wanted to find a job that involved colour, and found that being a colour consultant was the best choice for him. His job involves picking out the best colour choices for company logos and designing the colour layout in a room. Teyn recently found out that his friend from elementary school is no longer colour blind, but he still plans on being a colour consultant for the rest of his life, even if everyone in the world suddenly could see colour.

"Though I did't necessarily choose to be a recortador, I love my work and strive to honour my heritage. Born into a traditional Spanish family, the profession is practically in my blood. But not only do I feel that I am honouring my ancestors, I also really believe that I am also making a change for the better. You see, matadors (traditional bullfighters) injure the bull every time they charge. Then, for the finale, the matadors brutally kill the innocent animal with a sword, which is down right cruel. Recortadors on the other hand, are acrobats that preform tricks, such as jumping over the bull and dodging it. Best of all, in the end, the bull walks away unharmed. Personally, I see it as a dance between man and beast, and seeing as I absolutely love dancing, I love being a recortador. "

Why Did They Choose it?:: Faie chose to be a riding instructor simply from her love of riding horses herself. She teaches people of all ages and she loves the feeling she gets when one of her students successfully completes something that she's been trying to teach them. She grew up on a farm with her own horses so she likes that this keeps her "close to home". She has been riding since she could walk so she enjoys when smaller kids come and are passionate about learning to do the thing she loves the most.
With every new student that she gets over the years, she teaches them what she can and then they go on to different shows and try to win ribbons. Levi's dream had always been to be something that helps people. at first he went to school to be in the medical field, which slowly turned into the psychology field. It might have been silly to look at things like this but, Levi just wanted to help as fast as he could, so instead of taking the 10 years needed to be a therapist, he went straight into trial work working as a counselor. The pay is relatively low, but that's not what matters at all ! He loves to be involved with the children's lives, helping them no matter what issues they might face. As a child, Tedrick was always very much interested in different aspects of design. He liked to create new things, and he liked to put things together to make something better. Originally he was more interested in fashion, but Teddy gave that up upon the discovery that he was completely unable to sew despite his best attempts. Instead, he started to focus on decorating and organizing rooms. After getting into high school Tedrick found that he was exceptionally organized, and he was the go-to guy to organize student council events. It really struck a chord with him for some reason, and he's loved it ever since. Event planning has given him the opportunity to be a part of very special moments (even once getting to help with the olympics), as well as getting to help others have their special moments (nothing makes him happier than seeing a happy bride).

Why Did They Choose it?:: When Kodak was growing up he often found himself forced out of the grasp of his friends to take care of his younger sister, being that he was pretty tolerant he would often play dolls or perhaps even do makeup with her, slowly finding himself enjoying that time with her, and maybe even the makeup. He never did feel pretty wearing it, but didn't really feel the need since he was still mesmerized simply by the art of it. It was an odd thing, finding himself wanting to do more but also unable to with the fear criticism and embarrassment for if someone noticed. Throughout high school and into college Kodak began to take this more seriously, investing himself into it as he tried harder in his cosmetology class and looking for the best apprenticeship he could. This is what lead him to where he is today.

The coffee? He had always loved coffee. Making it, smelling it, tasting it most certainly. When he saw that Starbucks was hiring he went crazy, telling everyone he knew. The werewolves? Next to coffee, werewolves are his favorite. As a child, he would always read about them, never getting scared, and have always wanted to see one. He claims to have seen a total of three.
