I believe she enjoys drawing, mainly sketching. She will sit in her drawing study during the day or night with her beautiful leather sketchbook. She will draw anything she can see, and she has many things like telescopes to get better looks at things like the moon and stars.

Chanterelle will sit for hours in brambles
dangerously close to thorns or poison ivy,
waiting for the brief glimpse of a bird

see from her hiding place. She has a small
red notebook that is used to record all of
the birds she sees: blue jays, woodpeckers,
cowbirds, even an eagle. She draws them
with a ballpoint pen and writes down notes
about the birds, from their size and colors
to where they were sighted.

What is her favorite thing to do?;; Galarie has a very strange obsession- she hasn't met anyone else like her before. She spends her days harvesting and eating peaches, as well as giving them to friends. But why? For the pits, of course! Galarie will collect peach pits until it rains. As soon as she notices the rain start, she races inside and grabs as many of the pits as she can. Then, she procedes to plant each one around her den. Galarie has a superstition that peaches must be planted in the rain, because it makes them grow bigger than normal. So far, she hasn't been able to prove this true or false, but that won't stop her from collecting and planting peach pits in her free time.
