Judar’s that guy whom everyone knows. He’s not super social, but he’s easy to get along with and loves to crack jokes about everything. His carefree and confident attitude means he’s almost always smiling- and not taking things seriously until it’s too late. He’s really creative, sure, but he uses that to take as many shortcuts as he can. Sometimes he can get a little too cocky- especially after performing. He’s not attention seeking, but he enjoys doing something he’s good at.
He’s a bit of a dunce with feelings, and is usually very blunt about everything, whether it’s rubbing a success in a friend’s face or breaking someone’s heart. He doesn’t intend to be hurtful; he just doesn’t expect people to be bothered- and gets flustered when he realizes they are, which is one of the only times he’ll have nothing to say.

Judar didn’t grow up in the best of circumstances.
His mother and him were constantly moving from one
council flat to another, and his possessions were all
secondhand finds. She was the only person there for
him, and him for her. He was teased constantly – for
his holey shoes, his too-short pants, his childish shirt-
and although not violent by nature, he was losing his
temper more and more.
Until he was introduced to music.
Just like that, it became his life, a new, passive way
to get out his emotions. For the first time, he was
the best at something- and the most privileged. The
most precious possession from his childhood is an old,
battered sax his school gave him as a kind of
scholarship- his bridge from playing for the school
band to playing for money. The taunts didn’t get to
him anymore. He just… let it go. Slowly, slowly, as
he aged and performed more, he and his mother
climbed out of the hole they’d fallen into, and finally,
they got a permanent residence of their own. He
remembers that day like a birthday; mainly his mum’s
proud, glowing face, for the son who’d saved their family.

Having experienced what a hard life really was,
it’s no wonder he’s so carefree now. Steady
income, steady life, steady roof over his head-
way more than his mother could’ve put her name
on. She’s quite happy now, relaxing in retirement,
and is still the only person he’s really close to.
Even if her request is the same every time he
visits: ‘Where are the grandchildren?’
He’s got a bad habit of procrastinating- still he has
a lack of motivation for everything but music- and
he usually only gets moving when things are really
urgent. He himself is surprised he’s still a music
teacher at the local school. He treats it as a day-job;
professionally performing is always more important.
He loves giving shows at any place he can, from
clubs to councils to city halls.
And despite his laziness, he’s going fine so far, so
he’s not worried. Yet.

Hestia // friend
Judar’s a funny guy. I do admire his creative spirit, but he’s rubbish with romance. He’s rejected so many people and he doesn’t even know it, usually by telling them things like ‘Can you imagine me dating?’ and laughing. I think he sees it as a joke- he sees everything as a joke. I’m still hopeful someone will come along to change him, though!
Pavelski// friend.
Judar? He’s great to hang out with. He totally doesn’t get competition and hard work, though. He’s never wanted to be at the top- seriously, I don’t know why! Yeah, I guess you’d call him lazy, but look on the bright side- he’d be amazing if you wanted to relax.
Berry// friend
Man, Judar’s super cool! He’s not really the supportive type- more like the kind of guy who comes out after the drama is all done. He’s always been mellow and chill, except when he’s performing, of course. Then it’s like he’s been amplified- and everyone around him is amplified, too!
Cyprous//friend
Ah, Judar is so fun! He’s up for anything, and he doesn’t think too much either- which is a good thing. Thinking spoils everything. He would probably be hired like that at the spa; he’s got that calming effect on everyone. It’s probably how he can pull off leaving everything to the last minute.
