Paxton has been known to whistle the Eight Melodies from EarthBound for no reason. The song itself, and the video game it came from played a huge role in his childhood, but otherwise, he doesn't have much of an excuse to do this. There are some who find Pax's whistling quite pretty, but most are a bit irritated by his odd habit. He doesn't remember why he started, but he knows it was a long time ago.

When Paxton was a child, he would often get panic attacks, and his heart rate would rise above normal. He, even now, still gets these panic attacks. It would cause him severe chest pain and sometimes difficulty breathing, though he doesn't have any sort of medical issue. His mother would often whistle to him this song to calm him down, and as he grew, he did too. These fits slowly lessened as Pax got older, but this habit hasn't. Whistling the song offers him comfort even if he isn't aware.

quirk;; this bab must always finish a song if able! he must know the song, otherwise he doesn't exactly know what he is singing. if a song he knows starts and ends abruptly for any reason, this boy will start up singing from where it left off. he may do so quietly, maybe even just hum it, or full on scream it to the heavens. his voice is very pleasant, and while this tendency can be annoying to others, deep down they find it to be an endearing quality.

Santiago has a tendency to dance whenever he gets nervous or feels as if a situation is starting to get a little uncomfortable. Now he may not be the best dancer ever, but he can’t help it. His dancing usually brings out happiness in others, but he just thinks that it’s mainly because of his horrid moves.
Dancing has been a way to escape daily troubles in his life and over time it grew into an everyday thing for him. Thing is he does it unconsciously. The type of dance he does depends on the type of situation he’s currently in.
For example, if he’s angry because he can’t figure out a math problem he’ll brake out into a vigorous Samba. If he feels as if a situation is getting a bit awkward he’ll break into a slow ballroom dance. Partner or no he’ll break into any type of dance at any time. (But occasionally he’ll dance with a broom, he doesn’t know why. I guess it’s because brooms are handy.)

Pet names. When he's first meeting a person,
and thus is nervous, he has a tendency
to overuse nick names. He'll stammer
a smidge, offer his paw in greeting,
and smiles with a "Pleasure to meet
you,sweetie" regardless of age/gender.
This is something he actually hates doing
and finds incredibly embarrassing,
yet he can't help it! His upbringing was
full of "darlin" and "honey," so it's near
impossible for him to stop saying things
now. Anytime some anxiety or nervousness
slips in, the cutesy names slip out.
