Who are they trying to impress?: Everyone who ever doubted him. He has a bad habit of talking a big game, and it doesn't help that for the longest time he could never back up what he had to say. Lock has always spoken his mind, even if it wasn't popular, and talked like he was the greatest thing to grace the earth- thus ending him in a lot of trouble with others. His pridefulness has led to a lot of people doubting his ability and generally seeing him as less; he acknowledges the way his younger self acted was... well, less than favorable. He knows he was kinda a dumb kid, but now he sets out to prove the others wrong. Lock has set out to really prove that he is as good as he thinks he is by proving he finally has the strength and prowess to be truly great. The flower isn't really /for/ anyone, it's more just a part of his more mature image. Lock often dresses nicely, always with a flower tucked into some shirt pocket or woven into his tie. It's in effort to make himself seem more professional and upright as an individual, not to mention all the 'powerful' individuals in society tend to dress to impress.

into going with him. Zaptify felt bad for his friend, wanting to make him happy by taking him
to the dance. Of course, he doesn't know if his friend will actually accept, but Zaptify will try
his best into impressing him. He doesn't like seeing his friends upset, and knew how much his
friend wanted to go. So, Zaptify is trying to do the only thing he knows that can cheer his friend
up. Which is, asking him to go to the dance with him.

xxxxxsitting in his car in charlie's driveway, bennett straightened out his tie, ran a hand through his hair, and sighed. he knew that charlie was a hopeless romantic -- but he had no idea how to approach the concept. would he like the bad boy type, or was he more of a boy-next-door type? did he like the straight on approach?
xxxxxeither way, ben had a huge crush on the boy. charlie's shy, sweet, down-to-earth attitude made him magnetic. he was so... adorable. his gentle, deep, ocean-blue eyes were striking, his hair was so soft and fluffy, and he quite literally wore his heart on his chest. bennett got all embarrassed just thinking about him. but, now wasn't the time to be embarrassed! bennett was going to do this.

xxxxx"aw, ben, you know that friday is movie night. i got to pick -- so we're watching guys and dolls." charlie smiled at ben. "dez and rudy are here, by the way," he added, "so, would you like to join us?"
