Username: ☁Lady Raincloud☁
Name: Sparrow
Gender: Female
Dream: A fluttering color of violet and gold, and then, the sound of a waving, glowing breeze...Sparrow awoke, certain she'd find herself on her widow seat, taking her typical summer day's nap. However, as she rubbed her eyes with her paws to clear them of the heavy haze of sleep, he was already aware of the strong scent of radiant flowers, and the torrents of vibrant green grass being blown around her feet. For whatever reason, the kalon was not shocked. She was uncertain how she had managed to get out of the house and find this place, but, whenever she was, it was beautiful... And in moments she found her self laughing in her fluttery way as she dashing down the hillside, butterflies, and bees scattering out of her path as her running footfalls disturbed the foliage around her.
A sort of peaceful feeling was in the air, and yet a sense of longing, enough to melt a heart of ice...Sparrow finally paused by a patch of brilliant violet flowers, watching as they swayed in the wind that engulfed the field. A sudden feeling of coldness had come over her, a slight chill of some unknown, awakening despair. But she had nothing to fear, or be saddened about! her life was happy, and the field around her was breathtaking... and yet the feeling crew, and her previous laughter was turned into thick, choking sobs.
A billowing of grays and purple hues, a sound like clashing swords in the air, and then...Sparrow looked up as it suddenly grew dark in the sky, and took notice of the thick clouds gathering above her. The wind picked up, then, a a small rumble like the beat of a million soldier's drums filled her ears. And yet, she was not terrified. It was actually calming, and her eyes' flow of tears ceased. But the mirth of the previous minutes dud not return to her steady gaze, as she grimly watched the gargantuan storm cloud erupt in a glorious display of lighting...
But what was that feeling so strange, in a vision that seemed almost commonplace? Joy and fear, having had fled from the heart of the dreamer, she took back to walking, with the rain soon splattering at her paws, and her fur soon beginning to soak. Yet she took it calmly, if not joyously, and soon reached a forest which seemed to vanish off into the distance for miles on end. There, as if a hand had suddenly block her path and held her back, she stopped abruptly. The forest, which seemed to resonate a sound of life, of million so living things all at once existing... was not, yet, for her own life. Rather, she seemed called to near a small cottage besides this jungle of the multitude, and soon found herself ringing a small, golden doorbell...
That strange sensation called déjà vu... and why here? The door was opened, and a shuffling sound of feet met her ears, yet no person was inside. She heard voices of welcome and the sound of others moving, smiling and greeting, yet saw none. It was as if a memory had surrounded her ears, and yet her eyes saw only the current. Yet, a warmth returned to her heart. It was not that ignorant, yet wonderful bliss of the morning, of the child she had had in the field. It was a sense of belonging and comfort, and a pure sense of safety, mixed with the emotions of peace of mind. No, the forest as not for her, and the field was something she could visit, but not stay forever in, and the rain would pass, and the quiet joy of peace would follow...
The scent of warm milk, and he warmth of the hearth before her...it was as if time had passed in a blink, for the ground was white with snow outside the cottage now, and Sparrow found herself sipping milk by the side of a fireplace. Yet, as it is sometimes in dream, she took it as average. No one was in the room with her now, not even those voices of memory. It was just herself, and the fire, and the sound of the winter snow's wind outside, and the feeling of quiet...
And then, a small breath of air, a relief...Sparrow awoke, her eyes fluttering open to see her window before her. Naturally, those visions had all been a dream. With a yawn, she straightened herself to stare out at the rain that descended upon the street in front of her house, and soon she was slumbering yet again, off to yet another journey, into the unknown realm of sleep...
