If you meet Orube now, you wouldn't have recognized
her from who she was before. Once a girl who would
do anything to achieve her goals, she would disregard
others, and act selfishly. Now she's a calm and

As a women who was born with nothing more but her own fur to call hers, Orube was forced to do what she had to in order to survive. Being manipulative, cunning & quick-witted, Orube made her money as a cat burglar and a pick-pocket. Small, athletic, and cute as she was it didn't take long for her skills to be noticed by a criminal mastermind that used her to make himself rich. By his side, Orube developed darker traits of her characters such as doing anything to achieve her goals, disregarding others, being selfish, and blindly following others because of her inability to make her own decisions.

After years of 'taking care' of Orube, while sending her on risky operations that could have ended badly for her, he had solidified her trust in him. Orube couldn't stop being loyal to a man that neither deserved nor earned her respect. After years of serving at his side, he sent her to invade the temple of Master Zang and steal his amulet of the dragons. This backfired, as Master Zang saw great potential in Orube and took her under his wing. Taught by Master Zang and his student Anza, she learned loyalty, self sacrifice, justice, sense of shame, refined manners, purity, modesty, frugality, martial spirit, honor and affection. All which taught her to be a warrior; a true samuraii.

Orube looked up at the burning sunlight that hit her face. She squinted her eyes as they adjusted. "Master. You can not be serious!" The voice was loud and seemed to be very angry. "You'd do well to keep your mouth shut and do as your told." Responded a voice calmly and evenly. Finally her eyes seemed to have come to focus on two figures that loomed above her. The angry voice clearly belonged to the creature with a scowl; a sand cat with the stripes of a tiger and a pale muzzle. The patient voice belonged to the creature next to her; a wise looking dragon that looked as though many years of pain had worn away his youth. "Hello child." He faced Orube and extended out his paw to help her up. Surprised at the kind gesture, Orube took his paw and stood. The small cat looked as though she was about to hiss.
"Child. Where are you from?" The dragon asked as he lifted Orube out of the pit that she had fallen into as she tried to break in last night. As she was lifted out of the dark, Orube looked around the palace. Gardens surrounded it, tall treas wherever she looked and flowers bloomed with every color she could imagine. "I'm from the city...my master is expecting me back soon..." Orube managed to get out before bowing head with fear. "That man has no right to call himself your master. What has he sent you to do? Rob and steal for him. A good teacher is meant to show you the true path in life, only then can you chose to call him your master." Orube raised her head and skid her eyes to look over at the sand cat. "But she called you her master..."
The cat spat angrily "Because I respect him. Because he has taught me everything that I know. What has the man your loyal to taught you? How to get what you want by hurting others? How to be selfish? How to be vile?"
"Anza. That's enough!" The dragon flashed his eyes making the cat shrink back a bit. He turned to Orube and spoke.
"We have decided to invite you to stay at the palace with us. We wish to teach you. Unless, of course, you prefer the teachings of your 'master' back at the city."
"Its your choice." Anza added although she didn't look to pleased at the suggestion that the dragon was making.
Orube felt as though she had approached a crossroad in life. But unlike the decisions that she had trouble making in the past, this one seemed clear. Bowing her head Orube answered:
"Thank you. I accept your generous proposal, teacher."
