Show Name: Star Fighter
Barn Name: Hikari
Name Meaning: Light
Gender: Mare
Age: 4
Halter color: I would love to keep the premade
Pearl/jewel color (halter): Loving the premade pearls/jewels
Lore: Hikari is believed to be a blessing from the gods. She appeared during a time when a terrible drought plagued the land, people were dying and their beloved Queen despaired for she loved her kingdom and her subjects with all her heart. One night as she tossed and turned, her slumber plagued by a woman's voice calling out to her.
"Find the Cremello mare, she will bring you and your kingdom great joy and fortune as long as you kind and you are gentle."
The very next day the Queen set out on the back of her beloved appaloosa stallion to find the mare the voice in her dream had told her of. People called out to their beloved ruler as she passed by asking where she was going, the queen simply told them the truth. They vowed to follow wherever she may lead.l
The Queen flung herself from the back of her horse and raced to the mare. She gave the poor creature the last of her water and her last apple all while whispering quiet gentle words in one pale ear for she could not bear to see such beautiful creature suffer. What happened next is said to be a miracle. The mare glowed and was replaced by a woman of stunning visage.
"Child you gave up your food and water why is that?" The goddess addressed the queen.
"My lady, I have long believed that every animal great or small deserves kindness. I cannot bear to see an animal suffer especially a horse" the Queen replied her head bowed.
"So be it. Let it be known that from this day onward...this kingdom will flourish, your crops will grow lush and strong and your animals will never suffer" the goddess announced.
It is said that if one stumbles upon a beautiful cremello mare then they should display great kindness because you never know when you might find a goddess in disguise. For if you show cruelty or find yourself cold hearted to the plight of an innocent creature then you will be cursed.
Unless I post somewhere, I'm not selling/trading closed species critters.

Show Name: Spring From The Fountain
Barn Name: Ain "Eyen"
Name Meaning: Ain is Arabic for "Spring (Fountain)",
It's a reference to the lore/story I have written.
Gender: Mare
Age: 9
Halter color: Keep
Pearl/jewel color (halter): Keep
Personality (1 Extra Writing):
Quiet | Shy | Gentle | Caring
Ain is quiet and rarely makes much noise.
She enjoys just listening to the spring and the
wind as it whistles through the trees and
the underbrush. She is shy and rarely showed
herself to either human or horse until she
met the young woman who touched her heart.
She is gentle and very caring, never harming
another creature without cause, and having a
heart for those who are hurting or scared.
Cautious | Alert | Calm
Ain is cautious and very careful of others,
especially humans who seemed to come after
her all the time. She is always alert and rarely
ever lets her guard down, making it hard to get
close to her. She is a pretty calm girl though,
and rarely freaks out or attacks. She takes
on every challenge with a deep breathe and
easy movements. Once she gets to know
someone though, she is quiet easy-going when
it comes to them approaching her. She is
still cautious about saddles and bridles and
prefers to be ridden bareback, if at all, and
only those really close to her can get on her back.
Observant | Intelligent | Practiced
Ain watches and studies every creature she comes
across. She prefers to find out what they are like
before she will even consider going anywhere near
them. If she deems them worthy then she will get
closer to see their reactions. If they show signs of
greed, evil intent, or anything of the like she will
retreat, if they show kindness or loneliness though
then she may get even closer to them. She especially
likes to approach young children who have yet to
be tainted by the greed and evil mindedness of the
adults that raise them. Her actions are practiced as
she has been doing things this way for a long time.
Loyal | Protective
She is cautious and untrusting towards everyone at
first, but once her trust has been gained, she becomes
very loyal. Her loyalty goes above everything else.
She will live her life for the one who gains her trust,
the one who gains her loyalty. She is also protective of
that one being. Anyone who dares messes with the one
she lives her life for is said to meet bad luck, but this
has not been proven, for they normally just get a hoof
to the butt. Some believe she can be a force to be
reckoned with, but not many are willing to challenge
this theory, preferring her gentle and caring side over
her mysterious protective side.
Lore:
The mist surrounded the pool of water, a hot spring sitting amidst the cold snow. A young woman wrapped in a thick winter coat that was brown, accented by the bright red scarf that swayed with each step the woman took through the deep snow, trudged on towards the misty landmark. Her eyes were focused on the mist of the hot spring before her, the spring her grandmother told about many years before. She watched the mist like her grandmother did when she was a little girl, but now the elder was gone, and the child could learn no more. No more about the spring said to hold miracles, the spring that was loved by all, the spring that was said to hold a spirit of white horse. To get a glimpse of her was lucky, to touch her soft white hair was said to grant a wish.
She watched the mist and sat next to the pool of water, tears running down her cheeks as she remembered all the times by the fire, listening to the legend of Ain. She remembered how she dreamed as a child to see the white horse her grandmother treasured, the horse the elder saw as a little girl. All the tale and stories were gone now, taken by death itself. She let it go, held no tears back, waiting for the pain to numb.
She did not hear the water as it was disturbed by an unknown force, the soft movement of a slow and careful creature who was making her way to the shore. She stepped out of the spring, standing in the warm mist, looking at the human before her. Eyes like galaxies staring down at the tear stained face that did not look up. She took a few steps forward and placed her muzzle against the cheek of the woman. She could feel her pain, feel her sadness, and she was pulled in a way she had felt only once before. A time when a little girl got lost in the storm and followed the white mare home.
The woman lifted her head, seeing the bright intelligent eyes before her. As if an unseen force took hold she found her hand running through the mane of the horse. The tears did not stop, instead they flowed like a spring, and the mare stayed put, comforting the woman, whose arms were around her neck. She helped the woman stand once the spring ran dry, and lead her back through the snow. Braving the cold that made the air crisp, to make sure she would not be alone.
The small home came in sight and she turned to the mare as the white goddess stopped and finally let go of the mane. She wondered if the legends were true and now she could have a wish. "I wish you would stay with me, be my friend for forever." she said, but shook her head as she did not believe and started to walk away. The crunching of snow behind her made her look back at the beast, finding that she had started to follow, granting the young woman's dream.
Many years later the young woman died, leaving her friend where they met. The white horse wept like the woman she loved, the one she was so happy to have met. She left the small barn, now empty and cold, and returned to the place she came. She stepped into the pool and took one look back, then vanished once again in the mist.
What happened to the mare was a mystery to all, as she was never seen again, but many believe she still wanders the spring, weeping for her long lost friend. With no other witnesses but the small grave on the hill, the story turned from history to legend, but some still believe the story is true and hope to see her again. The white mare who gave her life to a girl who only desired companionship, hoping to capture the hear of the mare who could grant them any one wish. The white mare believed to be the spirit of the spring, a spirit come from the desires of the people who visit the springs that dare to defy the winter, the springs that provide warmth for all who come.
A spirit who can read the hearts of all who come, now come, try and tame the spirit of the spring...
