when the lights go out
no one is about
all the dragons are tucked in
that is when adventures truly begin

the music of the night starts to play
something that cant be heard during the day
it starts as a simple note, then a tune then a song
it last a short time but it seems really long

the note is not grey and bland but colorful
it brings you to a place that is beautiful
there you dance and laugh and play
all wish they could forever stay

however the song does not last
it is time for the fun to be in the past
the song will end and you will arise
back into reality will be a surprise

but don't you fret
you can always bet
that the song of the night will play once more
when you are safe in bed and begin to snore <3
