Jessica, i ahte to ask, but, sicne all the now dogs are adotped, and grown, shouldn't you add them to the 'owner boxes'?

Background Story: (WIP) (I will refer it him as "171" and "it" in the story right now)
171 sleepily blinked it's eyes. The warm sunshine shone through the cave's entrance.
Personality: This dog is energetic and always hyper, yet very lazy during cold weather and loves to curl up somewhere and sleep when ever it gets the chance. It's favorite season is summer, and loves to play and swim in the hot sun.
I promise to love and care for this animal, and if I no longer want it i will return it to the shelter.
Questions: I'm new here, so I have a couple questions. Here they are...

• Are we allowed to try for both "contest" dogs?
• Are we allowed to ren-name/re-gender the "contest" dogs?
