why his colors change;;
All of the blue colour patterns and colors on Ryder's fur change depending on his mood. His nose and claws also change due to moods. It's quite cliche, mood changing colors, I know. Ryder was born with it, and has learned to use it to his advantage instead of letting it become a weakness. He has trained hard over his life to learn and master the art of keeping his colors the same at all times. The only part he can't quite keep the same is nose. Sometimes it will just randomly change color, and there is nothing he can do about it. he can control it sometimes, thankfully, but he finds it annoying how it seems to like popping up when he's surprised or falling head over paws for some Viscet. He likes to let his colors change when he's alone, because it makes him feel like a normal Viscet with emotions. He usually feels more like a robot because of how much he keeps his emotions bottled up inside. He finds quite a few of the colors embarrassing, but by far he feels the pink and red colors are the most embarrassing; and the most popular with his nose. Thankfully for Ryder, only two Viscet know his colors, and one of them his himself. He keeps a little scroll to document each color. The scroll is always with him. He's only ever told one Viscet, and doesn't think he'd ever tell anyone else, anytime in the near future. Ever. They'd have to be a 'cet he knew really well and trusted with his whole being, and with his job and history, there aren't very many of those 'cets. The color change isn't the only thing he can do. He is fully capable of changing his markings, nose and claws included, brightness. They do glow, yes. He has learned over time to use this glow to his advantage, much like the color change. The first thing he's learned how to do, is use the brightness of the glow for Morse code. he has learned a total of 82 words in the intricate language, and hopes to learn more in the future. The second thing he has learned is to use it for is to navigate through dark places, and use it to see in the dark when he needs to, or he can reduce the glow when he needs to sink into the background, and be unseen. The third and final thing he uses it for is to warn Viscets who are attacking. he makes it incredibly bright and flashing to blind them and make them dizzy. It's usually affective, but not always...

Ryder is a quite the secretive 'cet. Due to his childhood, job, and the fact he is often on his own, he likes to savor the peace. He is a quiet 'cet, rarely speaking. He can be friendly when he gets to know you, but other than that, he finds it hard to spend time with other Viscet's and can get annoyed easily. He is a generally calm and confident and often feels the need to show others that he is brave as well as trustworthy. However, he is a good liar, due to his training, even though he often feels the needs to tell the truth when possible. He's become quite good at balancing them both together. He can be kind of hostile towards other Viscet's he's just met, but can adjust when he is certain that they aren't going to attack him. He seems a tad egotistical, but that's because he doesn't want to get too attached to anyone, and the only way to do that is to seem like a 'cet you wouldn't want to be near. He doesn't have friends because of this, but he believes it's better that way. He's really insecure on the inside.

...

Only one Viscet broke through his barrier of emotions. Her name was Raika, and this is how it all started....
His breath was light and quiet as he walked down the hallway towards the princess' chambers. He had a single dagger by his side, and a white cloak around his shoulders concealing the blade. Other than that, he had a food platter. He had been sent to the kingdom to find one Viscet. And kill her. He didn't know why, just that he would get paid big money if he pulled this off. And that's all that mattered to him. He had only been informed a small bit about her, and on his first three days here, he had learned more. So far he knew her name, and her fur and eyes. He had heard of her compared to "a ticking time-bomb", but he had yet to figure out why. He had been in the castle for four days now, and he had seen her only once.
He had been appointed as a servant, after sneaking his way into the castle, and convincing the guards, King and Queen and Princess that he was sent for a neighboring ally. He had only been in the Princess' chambers once, to serve food, and had seen her then. At the time, he had passed off his increased heart and blushing face as a heat change, but as he entered her chambers again, he felt it again as the Princess' graceful face appeared from behind the door. he entered and gave her the food, but this time, waited a moment as she watched him. 'is there anything else you need, Princess?' he said, his voice rough and gravely. 'No, thank you, you may take your leave'. He nodded at her response and left, averting his eyes as he caught her gaze. he waited a while near her room, and thought about her.
An hour passed by before the guards moved. He quickly entered the chambers before the second set arrived, and slipped his dagger free. She looked up at him, he gripped his dagger tighter, his dark red eyes narrowing, But he couldn't move. Her eyes widened and she opened her mouth in a gasp. 'Don't scream' He said, suddenly in front of her, his nose inches from hers. he could feel her breath against his face as he waited. Slowly, she nodded and he hesitantly removed his paws from where he had place them over her snout. No sound escaped her mouth as she watched him. He couldn't do it. 'Do not speak of this to anyone, or I will kill you next time' He said before slipping away through a servants entrance.
He stayed a few more days, and the princess didn't say anything. He tried to convince himself to finish the job, but every time he saw her, he couldn't bring himself to do it. A week went by, and he slowly found himself hiding his face to avoid allowing the Princess to see his blush and pink nose. Another week went by. And another. Until finally he confronted her. But not in the way he would've ever thought. He found her alone in the library one night, and explained everything. She had explained a few things too, and they ended up spending the whole night in the library talking. He spoke with her often for three more weeks until he had to leave. He promised he'd see her again, and left. In the kingdoms news the next day, a body had been found. Only the princess knew what had happened...

Ryder was born into a family of two. He had no siblings throughout the time he was at home, but his parents had a daughter a year after he left. When he was young, Ryder went by the name Finn. He was a pretty happy Viscling, and was kind and polite to others. Others were not so kind and polite to him, however. From an early age, Finn was bullied. By the Visclings in his pack, and sometimes even the adults in the pack too. He was a bit of a loner, and an outcast. Part of his markings changed colors, you see. He couldn't control it, and no one knew what the colors meant. He hadn't told anyone, mainly because he didn't know himself what they meant. As he grew older, his tormentors continued to make his life miserable, until one day he snapped. It was all a blur, but he remember the scream and then the lifeless eyes. He had run away after that, and he had never gone back. he lived on his own for a year before he was found by a Viscet called Lilian. She trained him as an assassin and his life changed forever.
