mid-twenties (twenty-six perhaps??), lives in NYC. he's going to be a character probably from the late 1930s/early 1940s? somewhere around that time. he's a bartender who's probably gonna be pretty suave and charming. really flirtatious, though it may come off as obnoxious to some people because he's pretty arrogant and boastful about his nature and looks.

mongo has had a pretty tough life. he would consider himself a preoccupied teacher, but others
would call him pretty distracting. this male kalon has worked as a public school teacher, he
worked in the science area but mostly he taught about birds and snakes (sometimes he even
brought in his pet birds and snakes!) - and soon he got fired because he wasn't really doing
his 'job'. he was okay with that though, because he had another job in mind and he was for
sure going to pursue it. working at seaworld. sure, you wouldn't get as much money as you
wanted to, but he sure as hell wanted to work with orcas, dolphins, and maybe even in
shows! when he first arrived in flordia for his job, they had assigned him to work as a janitor.
he had to prove himself to be a "good worker." mongo was quite disappointed with the fact
that he couldn't jump right into a show and start making kids laugh (more like, make him
laugh because he would be able to work with dolphins.) everyday he dreaded going to work,
he felt like he was almost being mocked. having to pick up trash on the ground, cleaning
barf, or be assigned to feed the animals. feeding the ocean animals was probably the
closest thing to being near them. it was pure torture. he hated where he was working and
he asked for a promotion. it was a warm summer, mongo's favorite month, it was in the
middle of june when he asked the question that he DOESN'T regret. "may i have a
promotion please?" his manager seemed impressed with his work enough to promote him
to feeding the animals in FRONT of people, while touring people around in the aquarium.
sure, it was slightly similar to being a janitor, but at least he upgraded to something that
was almost closer to what he really wanted.
it was a year and a half when his time came. he did something on accident, but kalons
viewed it differently. mongo was feeding some of the penguins and he cracked a joke -
"what do penguins like to eat?; brrrrrrritos" kids upon kids laughed at his joke and while
slightly laughing at his terrible joke, he saw his manager in the corner of his eyes and
immediately he thought he was going to get fired. not because he was goofing off,
but because he wasn't telling proper penguin facts.
later that day he got called in by his boss. not his manager. mongo was most
definitely scared, but also witty enough that he actually prepared himself with
some comebacks (just in case) - none of them were needed because he was asked to
perform in just ONE live show. if it went well then his boss may consider him into the
live show industry part of seaworld.
short story short; mongo did more than well in the live show because everyday from
august and forth - he was working his dream job. he got to work with birds, dolphins,
orcas, puffins, any sea animal that you could possibly come up with. and honestly, he
was quite happy.
