Why?; Akita has always loved tigers. Their strength, determination, and most of all, majestic stripes. She has always been proud of her few tiger stripes, always pretending, wishing, she was a tiger. Every night when she was little, Akita and her mother would go up to the cliff next to their house, and stand on the edge. There, they would roar as loud as they could, and pretend to be tigers. Now, Akita works in a zoo. She prefers caring for the tigers, but also works with lions, cheetahs, and snow leopards.

Why?; The thylacine, or tasmanian tiger, has been officially declared extinct since the 7th of September in 1936, but is it really? May doesn't think so, and neither do numerous people who have reportedly seen or captured the thylacine on video. Somewhat like the bigfoot or the lochness monster, there have been sightings of the tasmanian tiger but no actual legitimate proof that the animal or its descendants are still living. May has wanted to find the thylacine since she was very young, and as an adult is still searching for the hard proof her favorite animal is not actually extinct. She tells people to visit this article to prove her point.

Natura was always fascinated with basilisks! Natura would go down to the lush riverbed and plop her bum on the ground, glancing up and down the river. If she heard splashing, she'd look over and there would be her favorite animal. She loved watching Basilisks "run" on the water. She'd sit there for hours and hours in awe. One day, she tried doing the same as them. Natura found out that she most certainly can't run on water and ended up with a soaked coat and out of breath. She also loved them because of their vibrant green scales. The almost emerald colour moving fast along the water would definitely catch anyone's eye. They stood out from everything else, just like she does

After having recently discovered this species, he became very intrigued, and wishes to know more about them.

Imagine his delight when he learned that the world's smallest deer species was so, extremely tiny. Ever since he learned Pudú exist, it's been an endless search of where he can purchase one, if it's legal where he lives, and if it's even a good idea to have one. Learning that they were extremely rare he was heartbroken, but now works as hard as he can to protect them. He hopes that someday he can see one in real life, and it would make him the happiest Kalon in the world to see one roaming the wilds.

And they have poison barbs in their back feet, and the venom can leave pain lasting for months. It seems fake, like an april fools cryptid. But it's real, and it looks very, very, very ridiculous.

Marrufo loves MeerKats not only due to their visible appeal- he believes they represent him, in a way. He finds comfort in the fact that they burrow underground, which he believes represents the fact he is shy, unlike his strikingly confident image. They look out for each other, warning others when danger is near, and Marrufo thinks that this is a quality all friends should have- he's typically very lonely, and he likes to think this is what he would do in a perilous situation- be loyal to his friends till the end.

Misha's favourite animal is the southern rockhopper penguin because of how they move. On land, she finds their clumsy gait adorable, but these penguins in particular are excellent jumpers. As their name suggests, they jump on rocks. They breed atop huge rocky cliffs, and in order to get there they have to jump time and time again from rock to rock to get to the top. They are luckily l very durable, and if they fall down, even from great heights, they get up and continue right away, as if nothing happened. Once they enter the water around them however, they become extremely graceful swimmers who move seemingly effortless. They also move so fast and directly that they leave a trail, like torpedoes. Misha is fascinated by how one animal can move in all of these different ways, and as a clumsy swimmer, she'd love to be more like them.
