I've been on cs for about 3 years and I've seen a lot of closed species come and go. I was there when JBD were the most popular species on the site. Then came kiamaras and so many others. It made me sad to see them go, but i love how people are always creating new species.
I stalk the adoption threads a lot, and found GGs a long time ago. I've always wanted to own one, but never got the chance. Everytime i found a GG i liked, they were already adopted or close to the ending date. So, i'm finally here.
It's so good to find a species that's active and has a good community like this. I love each new design that is posted and I love to read the forms and entries for them. I seriously spend too much time doing this.
The variety of designs, line edits and colors in the Goblin Gators' designs make me so interested to keep coming and checking ;w;

I already knew GG's artists' art before they started the species and i already loved their drawings, so the species' quality wasn't really a surprise.

I hope the community grows stronger and there are more events, creations and amazing GGs keep coming. Hope this species never dies because Goblin Gators are some of my favorite species on this site.
I wish i had a super long text to post here, but i just began to stalk gg's recently and never stopped 'till then.
To end this, i hope that i'm always here - as i plan to be - to see the changes come and the community get better!

PERSONAL NOTES, DON'T TOUCH
This guy makes you feel like supernatural stories are actually real. He has a weird look in his eyes and is always staring into corners, waiting for something unreal to appear. He's a professional at disappearing and re-appearing somewhere else, he likes to hide for fun and if you're planning to chase him... you better give up. He can't be caught unless he wants to be. DNA is obsessed with aliens and other supernatural stories. His bedroom is filled with objects, posters, and books about weird stories. He doesn't sleep too much due to occasionally hearing weird things at night, so he's always grumpy and tired by the morning. His favorite time of the day is around 00:00 (midnight), when the city lights are glowing and the last cars are circling.

DNA Has never been in prison, but his overall look says the opposite. He's not the type of person you'd take for a dinner with your family, as he seems quite dangerous. Beyond that, this guy pretends to be emotionless and quite rude (sometimes), but secretly wishes he had someone to share secrets with.

-Every time he walks on the streets during the day, he tries to stay
under the shadows of trees, buildings, etc.
- He has been through a lot of supernatural situations, but never tells
that to people because they wouldn't believe him
- Sometimes hears weird things at night, that's why he barely sleeps
- Secretly likes to eat crayons
- Likes to wear colorful clothes, even if he looks like a vampire.
The combination makes him look like a happy party murderer vampire.
- A good listener. People think he should be a psychologist because of
his ability to be calm and give good advice
- Doesn't like to talk about his life or his family (specially his family)
- Isn't super active, but isn't a lazy person either
- Also likes the dawn, when everything is silent
- Doesn't want to be the center of attention
- Doesn't trust too many people, but when he chooses to trust someone,
it's better they don't betray him. Because he'll never forget. NEVER.
- Enjoys Indie music and ice cream makes him happy

- Negative about bad situations

- Really, really paranoid about aliens
- DNA is a sarcastic, sometimes cold and distant person. He speaks as less as possible and likes to listen and absorb details in people's words. He'll always notice small things in places, persons and speechs that no one else notices. Sometimes, his lack of capacity to deal with feelings make people nervous and mad at him. If DNA loses something or someone, or just passes through a bad situation at all, he'll just act like he doesn't cares (most part of the time, he really doesn't). This is good, as it's really difficult to make him sad or offended, but can be a problem because he haves absolutely no sense of emergency and doesn't notices when people around him need emotional support.

A little friend

Jazmine is a little girl who's not scared of DNA. He saved her from beign devoured by a Smiler (creatures that eat children's smiles) and then she became his best friend.
Jazz (as DNA calls her) loves music and plays old records in her mp4. She loves to dance and make silly jokes that never fail to make DNA smirk.
The little girl is the only person in the world who believes in DNA's crazy stories (and has seen some supernatural creatures herself), so she's always there to help the boy with anything he needs. She's smarter than the average 12 years old children and knows best for her friend.

Sometimes, DNA visits Jazz in school and helps her with the homework. Both are an invincible team and if working together, can make the best of each other.

Supernatural items collection
Nobody can explain why, but weird creatures, ghosts, monsters, aliens and other unnamed beings like to visit (or follow) DNA sometimes. He's often attacked by them.
After being chased too many times, DNA just got used to this weird routine and doesn't even feels surprised anymore if the taxi suddenly turns into a giant octopus.
This guy keeps a collection of objects or parts of supernatural creatures he has defeated in his room and a diary with notes about them. Want to take a peek?

Witch's broom

"Everybody thinks witches are cruel creatures, corrupted
human souls, but in fact, they just want to earn some
money to help their sisters that live in Himalaia. They
sell magic artifacts to common people at auction houses and
luckly, i've managed to get a broom that belonged to Jara's
(a friendly witch i just met) grandmother."

Dragon fang
"I really want to see a dragon, but everytime i hear their
screech, they leave before i arrive at time. At least i found
a fang in my garden today."

Gobleye's eye

"Gobleyes are selfish creatures who enter people's houses
at night and steal everything shiny and precious they may have.
They also wander around in the streets and steal stuff from people's
pockets and take their jewelery. Some Gobleyes like to eat their
precious gems and gold, and others like to hide and make a collection.
I found a coin on the floor and tired to pick it up, but a Gobleye attacked
me."

Magical properties: Looks like everything the eye stares at becomes
mine somehow, but i can't assure.

Surviver backpack

DNA and his backpack are inseparable, without it he feels insecure and unsafe. The backpack contains a lot of survival items, as well as some candy, a Polaroid camera, a mystery book and flashlight.
Sometimes, he's caught off guard by some supernatural creature and that's why he always takes the backpack wherever he goes. He hates when people try to take a peek at what is inside without permission and even sleeps hugging the bag.
The backpack also carries some secrets like an old Polaroid of his family. Nobody will ever know that, though, because DNA hides the photo with his life.

Goodbye and Curiosities
I just wanted to reserve a spot to thank you a lot for giving me the opportunity to apply for this GG. They're one of my favorite designs around and i'll always consider them somehow a "friend", even if i don't win them. I want to thank the other people who are applying too and providing a great competition. Your forms are amazing, guys, keep the good work up.

- Jazz (or Jazmine) is a GG i got as a gift after someone on CAAA (character community) read my form. She helped me to boost DNA's personality wildly and gave me different points of visions of him. As i got her recently, i still plan to give her a page on my site and write all the information about her, but everything is already noted on my notebook.

Personal:
I'm going to preface this by saying I'm a huge nerd.
I also have commitment issues because of past adopt centers that have since shut down.

I wander the forums frequently trying to find new things I like in the adoptables oekaki. I'm so sick of the quadrupedal feline-types and it seems to me that all the "popular" species are the same... I'm just frustrated at the lack of diversity on CS because people just want to keep the same-old-same-old of foxes and cats and dogs. I don't remember how exactly I stumbled upon these, aside from wandering the forums and having my eye caught by some amazing cover art. I flipped back through the pages when I found them and saw GG #19 and decided that I'd start watching these to see how things go. I guess I found them around January or February of 2016...

I guess what kept me coming back was the wild variety and complexity of designs. I just kept checking in and seeing what new, wacky things y'all were brewing up. It was enjoyable watching (and slightly participating), even though I'd been busy with school up until the end of May. Since I was engrossed in school, I missed participating in the major events like the Spring Fever and the April Fools' Event (was GG #66's event for April Fools? idk) and the Halloween Event...

I honestly had tried to break off all contact over the Internet for quite some time, but after winning a GG (#84), I thought I was going to start entering the community. The fanclub was so sluggish and I just couldn't jump into the waters. I'm always so intimidated by throwing myself into new communities and I often back out anyway, unless I already have some friends who are heavily involved. I'm going to try wandering in eventually and hopefully offer some gift art or color-ins of some sort to the community eventually, when I'm not headfirst in making personal art for myself...

I'm ready for anything to come in the future, as long as it's still there for it to be... y'know? I know how it is with inspiration coming and going... sometimes less coming and more going. Throw it all at me, whatever it may be and I'll do my best to absorb the blows... For the moment, I just hope that I'm able to join the community as strongly as I want to.

Personal: (Tell us about your experiences with ggs and what first got you into them. How you found out about us. What you hope to see in the future. Etc.) Well, this will be interesting. It stared by me reading other peoples work on an viscet (I don't remember which viscet.) and as I finished read their paragraph, I saw My GGs! And I was thinking "what the heck are GGS? what ever it is it sounds really cool!" And OH BOY was I right! So I clicked the My GGs thing and I saw these cool things (Here comes the funny part XD) and I said "Wow this GGs are cool!, they look like Alligators from like a different planet!" You see I didn't know that GGs meant Goblin Gators so I thought that GGs were the actual name! So after I saw there Goblin Gators I saw I link that said GGs so I clicked as fast as possible to the Adopt part thing that shows what people have made recently. And I said "WOW! OH MY GOD! THIS ONE LOOKS LIKE THE OCEAN!" (It was an ocean blue color with a gold mane and it had black stripes BTW) and I look through all the pages to see if it was still available. And sadly it wasn't. BUT I WASN'T GONNA GIVE UP YET! So after what I think might have been a couple of months I saw a Halloween looking Goblin Gator and it was a non-owners raffle so I was like "OH I MIGHT WIN THIS!" and sure enough I did! (I forget the name of him because it's like really long.) And that's my story of how I first found Goblin Gators and How I got my first Goblin Gator!
Extras: Jonathan's Personality! He is quite the silly Goblin Gator, though what might surprise you is that he can be very serious. And sometimes he can get sad because people think he's a demon or a monster and run away and scream, though what doesn't help this is the fact he loves to scare and prank people so much that they also can't trust him. When he's around other animals though, he is the exact opposite. He'll be nice and very gentle, and he play nicely. He's also very misunderstood, though you can see why, right? And over all if you ever got to know him he's actually quite nice despite his appearance.
His likes and dislikes: He loves to prank people, and play games with children who aren't scared of him (which is very few for obvious reasons.), and eating candy. He hates the fact that so many people get scared of him and that he is misunderstood, and dogs (because he's allergic.)

I think I'm going to drop out.
Normally I would just edit this as my entry post, but I would like to finish my piece of art as a gift for the winner, if they want to keep it. While I did want to make a tarot deck for this GG, I realized that I wouldn't have enough time, nor inspiration, for such an undertaking. (..78 or 56 or 22 cards and 0 inspiration..)

I'll be removing everything else from my form except for the personal bit & the link to the full-size 5 of Swords card in Oekaki, should anyone want to contact me about finishing/altering the sketch, or drawing any additional cards/pieces.
I can even remove the card elements of the piece and just finish it as a fullbody of #100.
