It was a couple of long years ago, when Oxy had stumbled upon his first love, his first heartbreak. He was but a blossoming calf back then, a maturing bull that had little of the spunk and arrogance his peers developed, a gentle giant with an adoration of albeit rather... feminine things. He was different from those adolescent males, and he kept to himself and to his cow friends as a result.

It was within that little group of chatty females that he'd spotted one of the fairest he'd ever seen, speaking quietly, admiring the wildflowers, appearing thoughtful. It was because of those dropping velvety ears that she, Bloom, hadn't noticed the shy bull intently observing her among the small herd of young cows. She didn't pay him any heed, in fact, and Oxy's heart grew heavy with the thought that he'd never talk to her. He slumped back into the plush grass and remained unusually silent, not talking to any of his friends, and occasionally shooting Bloom a prying look.

Had it not been for the sudden departure of his friends, poor Oxy wouldn't have spoken to her at all. But as he watched his female friends saunter away, gossiping merrily, Oxy could feel Bloom's curious pink gaze shift over to his calico-esque bulk. "Oh!" she cried softly, making Oxy flinch. "I didn't notice there was a bull amoungst my friends, why aren't you with the others?"

Oxy, becoming incredibly flustered, merely shrugged and tossed his crush a nervous glance. "I'm n-not really like them," he finally replied, seeming to shrink back into the freshly blooming flowers. Bloom smiled and plodded over to join him in the patch of flowers, feeling somewhat shy herself but not hesitating to conceal it. "I see. Well, what's your name? Mine's Bloom."

I already knew that, Oxy thought with a pulse of pride
"I'm Oxy," he said, and the two soon became immersed in idle talk. But there was of course that nagging thought that he wanted more than friendship, but being the passive bull that he was and is he settled for less. Never knowing what could have been.

Yes of course Oxy can eat flowers at any time of the year but Oxy hates the heat and spends the summer doing things he loves to offset how uncomfortable he is and there is nothing Oxy loves more than flowers. Oxy spends most of the summer seeking out flowers that weren't there before, because as anyone who knows anything about flowers would know there are some summer exclusive flowers. Since Oxy has no assess to books nor could he read them if he did Oxy judges based on taste and color rather than keeping track of names.

Oxy is a tender, loving bull with an adoration for rather feminine things. He likes flowers, lazy days napping in the shade of trees, and talking quietly with his close cow friends. He rarely, if ever, associates himself with the other bulls in the area, and finds the lot of them excruciatingly obnoxious.
Oxy is quite the romantic bull, too, and often dreams of finding his one true love, usually falling for one of the beautiful cows in his expansive friend group. However, his dreams usually end up falling short, considering that he is extremely shy in nature and rarely ever musters up the courage to speak to the cows he comes to love.

Oxy is extremely hesitant to make new friends, despite being a very friendly bull himself, because he's deathly afraid of rejection. It usually takes a little bit of coaxing from his current friends to get him to talk with new bovines. Fortunately, though, after the initial step of approaching potential acquaintances, Oxy's inner charm usually makes up for his stuttered speech, thus making a whole lot of friends.

but once you get over the initial
shock-and-awe, he's really quite sweet.

Finn is the type of guy who is kind to everyone, no matter what they look like or where they're from. He enjoys being around other cows, pretty much all the time - he always has this twinkle in his eyes and a really genuine smile on his face. Finn's easygoing, too, happy to live and let live. He's friends with anything and everyone, as long as you don't hurt someone he cares about - he's a big softie until you call his best friend names or treat his sister wrong. When that happens, well, there's a reason 'beware the nice ones' is a phrase.


He is a chatterbox. If you let him, Fin'll talk your ear off - about himself, about his friends, about all the good times they've had together - nothing is off the menu for this guy, once you get him rambling. He rarely gets nervous, and has no concept of personal space; once he's talked to you, you're his friend, period. This can sometimes be aggravating for the more aloof cows, because they can't seem to get rid of him.


Finn lives by the motto "I'll watch your back if you watch mine." He's very loyal, and with that disarming smile, who wouldn't trust him? He can be irresponsible at times, and this bull is perpetually late, but hey - everyone has flaws.


If you're nice to Finn, he'll be nice back. That's just the type of cow he is. He's great with calves, he loves to play tag with the youngsters and seems to have a way with them. Perhaps it's because he spent so much time entertaining his younger 'sister' - he has an adopted sibling... but that's a different story.

Finn was born on a farm across the seas. He does not know what happened to his mother, or his father; he does know that he was shipped to his current home very early in his life. When he arrived, Finn was bottle fed by the skinny creatures called humans - and his shaky legs grew sturdy, and his small frame filled out.

Two weeks later, he was joined by a younger calf called Blaise; and they became siblings.

His sister, too, was bottle-fed, and though Finn had an inkling that there was something missing in their lives, he'd never known the word 'mother'. As the weeks passed, the thought faded, and the young calf became interested in other things. He played all day with his little sister - they explored their new home together, played tag together, looked at the ocean together. His calfhood was one of serene peace and long, hot days underneath the bright dome of the sky.

The humans took good care of them, and both siblings blossomed under their watchful eyes. The first winter was a sight to behold - neither Finn nor Blaise had ever felt something so cold. Their coats grew long and shaggy, and they spent every hour of the day playing.

The snow melted, and the summer heat came. Blaise liked to hide in the stables, safe in the cool dark, but Finn - Finn would stroll down to the beach, the fences twenty feet out to sea. He would wade into the rolling waves up to his neck, peaceful, eyes half-closed. It was that second summer where Finn's love for all things ocean was born, and Blaise met her sparrow. He was a little jealous of the creature, at first, but it wasn't long after that Finn met Journee, the cow who would become his best friend.

When he first met her, she was muttering.

At first, Finn snorted and meandered off in his own direction - but she seemed to be searching intently for something, and his curiosity got the better of him. When he asked what she was looking for, Journee looked at him distastefully and muttered "strawberries". From that moment on, he was determined to help her find them - he loved strawberries. She made him promise that he'd only eat half - and they were best friends from the moment they found the patch. Finn spent all day with her, eating the delicious fruits, and when it was over he bid her goodbye.
It was fate.

Later, the red cow introduced him to Sengo, and Sirencia; and, well, they say the rest is history.

➴ ＢＬＡＩＳＥ : "the sister"
xxxFinn considers Blaise to be his sister - they were raised together, and he loves her, and would never let anything hurt her. He finds it a bit odd that a sparrow follows her constantly, and even tries to shoo the creature away (if Blaise isn't watching) but the little thing will not give up... he guesses he can admire that kind of dedication, if nothing else. Besides the annoying sparrow, Blaise is his best friend as well as his adopted sister - for some reason, she has an uncanny ability to know what he's feeling. Thankfully, Finn is quite fond of his little sister, and does his best to make sure that she's happy.

➴ ＳＩＲＥＮＣＩＡ : "the on-again, off-again"
xxxFinn isn't quite sure what to make of Sirencia, or what she makes of him. Her rebellious and angry personality doesn't exactly endear her to this laid-back bull, and yet he finds himself in her company more often than not. She definitely isn't the type of cow he usually hangs around with. But maybe it's his own subconscious trying to liven things up a bit? Even Finn can't make heads nor tails of the situation, but it's not ideal, not by a long shot. He keeps trying to stay away from her, and then they bump into each other over the fence - and it'd be, well, rude not to say hello.

➴ ＪＯＵＲＮＥＥ : "the best friend"
xxxFinn adores how cheerful Journee is - she's always ready to take him on an adventure, be it a slow jaunt across the pastures or a day spent at the beach. Even though they've only known each other for a few months, Finn feels like he's learned a lot from her - Journee had plenty of things to say about nature and the circle of life when they first met. This bull feels as if Journee is one of his closest friends, and he cherishes her company. He loves that Journee is opinionated, and passionate; and that she doesn't let a little thing like blindness bother her. The fact that she genuinely cares about him makes him feel all fluttery inside.

➴ ＳＥＮＧＯ : "the love interest"
xxxIf Finn was asked to describe Sengo in one word, the first thing that would come to mind is "adorable". If Finn has a few free moments, he can be seen talking over the fence with this cow. He just can't seem to figure her out, and it drives him wild. At first, she wouldn't even talk to him - wouldn't even look at him, much as he tried to catch her attention. This behavior went on for weeks, with Finn doing everything he could think of to get her to make eye contact. Then, one day, he made her laugh. The sound was like bells, silvery and chiming. He was smitten from that day forward.
