The three dads met in a strange way, one night, when Adonis came to the bookshop for a cup off coffee after a long day. There he witnessed Riven, in a fight with Arthur, whom he'd been hired to kidnap.
Adonis managed to pry the two apart, and afterwards, somehow, a relationship developed.

Arthur

Arthur is a bit of a complicated being. He himself is usually nervous and shy, and flustered quite easily. He's also soft and caring, and the sort who likes to take care of people. He'll try to give advice on problems, even if he doesn't always follow his own words. He's a pushover, especially against other adults, as he prefers to avoid all confrontation.
But occasionally he has a second side that comes out. He's possessed by an angel named Omniel, who is almost the opposite of Arthur. Om is gruff and grumpy, and on principal dislikes dealing with people. He sometimes has a weakness for cute thing, especially if it's Adonis. He mostly takes over control of Arthur's body if the man is feeling particularly in danger or distress, but will also show up to make his annoyance with people know.
Arthur owns a bookstore and café, where he loves to bake scones and serve coffee to his patrons.

Adonis

Adonis doesn't speak much, preferring to listen and process before he answers. He's often wary of meeting new people. His words are always crafted to evoke a certain response, though he's taken aback when it doesn't work or when he's outwitted. He has a keen eye for detail and a good memory to make up for when he's indecisive and cowardly. Adonis's indecision leads to impulse decisions and he's often found running away from the consequences (but his guilt always brings him back to fix things again, ever the peacemaker he is). Sometimes his loyalty can be exploited. He's too trusting, sentimental. In his youth he was closed off and snarky, a bit jagged, always on edge. He's learned to let go now, can make small talk if approached, and is rather pleasant if not aggravated. His patience rivals that of many others.

Riven

Riven is known among his social circles for his short temper and snotty attitude. He is a prideful, uppity Kalon with no patience for rabble. He is not very eloquent, raised among unrefined people, so his insults and humor tend to be crude. He gets the job done, whatever the job may be, in a quick and efficient manner, earning him a reputation for his effectiveness. His skill at his job makes up for what he lacks in personality.
Working as a mercenary, Riven doesn't have much time for kits. He finds children to be a nuisance, and would rather not have the responsibility of looking after any— he’s afraid of children. Riven would most likely be a distant father, preferring to care for his kits in ways that allow him as little interaction as possible. He has no qualms against being outright rude to anyone: royalty, kids, the elderly-- everyone is fair game for his abrasiveness. Additionally, Riven has a vain side. The one surefire way to breach his fiery shell is through compliments and good food. His positive traits are his ability to go to the ends of the earth to complete a goal, fierce protectiveness, and drive. He's got a hard shell, but he's not unreasonable, usually. It just takes a long time to reach his gooey inside.
Also he’s a loser.

real name "Aegiceras", introverted, prefers to observe rather than participate, doesn't listen to rules very well, likes to subtly weasel his way into arguments and such to complicate things, has a gentle touch, doesn't like to physically hurt things

Top Right (owned by Q) -- Finnegan
nicknamed Finn, book smart, loves reading, obsessed with the supernatural, often points out things the others can't see, quiet, monotone, hides his eyes, tries to be stoic, but easy to make blush, excited about small things, but gets embarrassed afterwards

FAQ

Can you check over our forms to make sure we got the dad's personas right?
As long as you read the info, you should be good!
Also as a note, none of the dads would ever be abusive. The Kit would be well cared for.

Are animations okay for the art?
Simple ones are okay, blink, float, wave, but nothing crazy long with a lot of frames! Comics are also okay, but not each panel would count as one piece of art!

Should the personality and relationship section be long or short?
Just make sure you get your point across, as these sections are the focus of the competition! There's no word limit for this section, but make sure it stays within the topic.

How does the kit's hair work?
The lovely Tigressa has sketched up this guide to make it a little clearer!

Do the dads have last names?
Riven does not have a last name! Adonis' is Calhoun. And Arthur's is Altair!
