The lights dimmed dramatically, a single light trailing across the crowd in suspense. All of a sudden, the spotlight flickered away, causing a huge gasp to fall across the crowd. Then, a bright green light snapped on a Viscet. He was almost pure black, but he seemed to have a small wisp of grey on his pelt. He wore a very professional grin, in a perfect stance. The almost-black Viscet started to walk on the tightrope, his paws easily making him cross it. He wore his grin still as he stopped in the middle, his black lips removing from each other as he began to speak. "Welcome, welcome. Welcome to the circus!" He announced, his paws reaching out to the tented sky. "I appreciate you coming. Now, now. Now that the entrance is done, how about we get to the good stuff? Well, my name is Oliver." Oliver mused, starting to pace on the tightrope. "Many circuses do the same things. Elephant riders, lions and tigers jumping through hoops. But no. If you came for that, leave!" Oliver's voice boomed throughout the circus, one paw pointing at everyone in the stands. "Nice, nice. It's not what you came for. Today, is the best day of your life. Thanks for coming. Keep strapped in your seats as I do what no one has done before." He grinned almost wickledly, staring at the crowd. "Today, I will be tightroping. Not only that, but across a pit of water. The water is filled with piranhas. Ya know, the things that shred off skin? Blood? Bones? Yeah, that kind of stuff." Oliver shrugged, walking to the other side. "Now tell me. Are you ready!?" He boomed, grinning wickedly. As a whole stream of replies filled the circus, he laughed. He braced himself, starting to walk across swiftly. He made it in the middle, with a dramatic grin and wobbling, before walking towards the end. Oliver was just about to finish his tightroping, when his foot slipped. A large gasp filled the circus tent, and it was as if time slowed. His head knocked into the wooden landing, and he felt burning near his eye. He blacked out, wondering if he was dead or alive.

Explain The Scars:

As the little viscling snuck along the rafters on all fours, making barely a sound. His dark eyes scanned the ground beneath him.

It was a dark and stormy night.
If one looked closely at the copse of trees next to the lovely, huge mansion, they wouldnt see anything. But if one had night vision, they would see a shape in the leaves, barely distinguishable. Piercing murky brown eyes, like glazed chocolate, stared out at a light in the window.
Draco waited. . Soon, the light winked out, and after extending his sentry a further hour, he slipped out, a mere shadow among shadows. quickly, he slinked his way to the wall and began to scale the bricks, using his sharp, strong claws. Once upon the roof, he hooked his paws around the raised edge of the roof, and swung so that he was upside down. Working speedily, he unlocked the window and slipped inside, quiet as a mouse.
Moving down the hall, he padded, hugging the walls in case there was a creaky spot. Arriving at the imposing, locked door, Draco easily picked the lock using a tool he kept in his cobra-skin belt. Easing the door open, he quickly walked to the bed, looking down on the lump in the blankets. He raised his dagger ...
And slashed down.

Chapter

The blind viscet bolted awake from his nightmare, stopping a centimeter away from the low ceiling of the attic. Draco swung his legs to the edge of the bed, shouders slumped. That night kept haunting him even through all these years. Oh, how he sharply remembered...
He slashed down, but instead of slicing into warm, living flesh, there had only been cloth. Knowing that he was tricked, he spun around, straight into the claws of the target himself. The viscet had grabbed his face, digging in with sharp claws, bringing hind paws up for a fatal slash at Draco's belly. Draco had torn himself away, nearly removing his own face, and amid the pain and blood gushing, blinding her, he stumbled backwards and crashed out the window. He landed in the thick hedge, and immediately got up and ran away, running from the house and to nowhere.
He had found himself in town, recongising the

      Male
    Explain The Scars:
Kamali earned these scars after protecting a little Pit Bull puppy. He was walking down the street one day and happened across a group of five kids just beating on a three month old Pit Bull puppy. The poor thing was just crying in pain and distress to the point that it was making the kids laugh. This infuriated Kamali to the point in which he ran right into the middle of the gathering and placed himself over the helpless puppy. This angered the kids and they continued their beating on Kamali. The beating went on for what seemed like forever until a cop showed up and the kids scattered, leaving a bleeding Kamali and the puppy behind them. To this day, Kamali still has the puppy and he loves the little turd as if it was his child. When he is asked about the scars he was dealt saving the pup, he tells his story and how the Pit Bulls shouldnt be feared just because of media and bad owners. The scars do not effect his day to day life as he doesnt see them as a burden, but as a mark of honor for protecting an innocent life and so he doestn hide them. The scars are located mainly on his head and back since he was crouched over the pup during the beating. A few are gathered along the sides of his mane and there are a couple on the right side of his neck. If given the chance to go back and change what happened, he would do the very same thing over again. He wouldnt give up his little pup for anything in the world and will continue to protect it till the day the both of them die.

Explain The Scars: Kyo looks up at you. "So you ask about my scars... You're not the first to ask. I guess I can explain." He runs a paw over the jagged lines across his face. "It was about three years ago, I was alone. That was my first mistake. I was wandering along, the woods were as dark as could be. That was my second mistake, being out in the night. I remember hearing the bushes rustle. I remember my fur spiking up as I prepared for danger. The rustling grew louder and louder... And then a dark smear burst from the brush. I remember laughing at my stupidity as my brother rammed into me and sent us both tumbling head over tail down a hill. I had hit a tree, but my brother, Kilo, had landed on both feet." He smiles softly. "I wish I had landed where he had instead of him. Right before him stood the biggest, strongest black panther in the woods. I had heard legends of the beast, but never seen it in person." A shudder runs through his body. "I had softly called to my brother, telling him to slowly come to me, but he didn't listen, he was paralyzed in fear. I saw the panther gather its muscles to prepare to lunge and that is when I acted. I raced in front of Kilo and let out a menacing growl. The panther just laughed, lunging towards Kilo, who was shuddering behind me. I had tried to stop him, but..." He chokes, stifling a sob. "But I couldn't... He swiped Kilo aside like a ragdoll, sucking the life right out of him. I raced to his side, but he was already gone. My only choice was to run. I started to run, streaking between trees, tears blurring my vision, when I tripped. I was unable to stand up in time... The next thing I knew, the panther was upon me. His claws came hurtling towards me, raking across my face. I cried out, horrified. That is when help came. They killed the panther and took me back to where my family was, along with my brother's body." He stops finally, tears falling down his face. "I-I'm sorry..." He mutters, wiping away his tears. "I must go now." He says and walks away, body shaking like a leaf.

❝ DECLAN ❞
Declan was pulled back and tossed carelessly, right to he nearest trashcan. There were a lot of trash
cans in the alleyway, but declan happened to launch into the dirtiest one. He got up immediately, a wicked
grin on is face. "So that's how you want to play it, huh?" he teased, body swaying back and forth to match
up the bears movements. It was significantly larger than him, and he likely had no chance of winning
a fight against it, but he had to try. The bear gave a thunderous roar, before lunging itself right at Declan.
Not having any time to think, he dove to the side, causing the bear to crash right into the trashcan, just as
Declan did before. "Payback sucks, doesn't it?" Declan was pretty sure the bear couldn't understand him at
first, but every time he trash talked to it, the bear got notably angrier. The bear got up and shook itself,
trying to recover from the crash. Declan took this as an opportunity to attack. He was quick, but the bear
was quicker. Last thing he remembered was the bear lifting his claw right in front of Declan's face, and
scratching the left side of his face. Declan yelled out and fell to the ground, as the bear took the
opportunity to give his last attack and finally end the solid black viscet once and for all. However, his attack
was interrupted by another viscet charging right at him, significantly larger than the black one, tackling the
bear to the ground. The bear yelped, and ran away as far as he could from the viscets. Everything else was
a blur to Declan, before the grey viscet helped him up. "That's a pretty bad scratch, come on, let's clean it
up." the grey viscet's voice was slightly muffled by the torn up rags covering his face, everything below his
eyes. Declan nodded, and walked with the grey viscet. "Can you see?" He asked. Declan shook his head.
"Not my left eye, no. I think I'm blind in that one." He responded, with a chuckle. "Hey, what was that about,
anyway?" the viscet asked, genuinely curious about what caused the fight he has just witnessed. Declan
stopped dead in his tracks, and stared straight at the viscet. "Damn thing took my sandwich." he responded,
before walking right ahead of him. "Wow," he responded with a short chuckle, as he jogged a bit to
catch up to Declan.

So you may be wondering, "what the heck happened after all of that?"
Well, that grey viscet that saved Declan's life, Animus, stayed with
Declan for a little while, until he realized that Declan doesn't have a
home. In fact, he lives in that alleyway. And so Animus felt like they
were sort of like partners now, and he couldn't bring himself to
abandon Declan, so he stays with Animus now. Declan is more or less
Animus's right hand. Similar to him in many ways, but less serious than
the grey viscet. Now about that scratch, it did end up leaving some
pretty nasty scars, and leaving Declan blind in one eye. Coincidentally,
Animus messed up one of his legs in a fight with another viscet, so he
has a slight limp, which only adds to their similarities, both of them
having some sort of injury. Declan wasn't ashamed of his scars though.
If anything, he was proud. He showed them off, and casually told his
sort of how he fought with a bear to any female viscets who asked,
while Animus rolled his eyes in the background, not mentioning how
he was actually the one who saved his life. He'd let him has his
moment. The left side of his face was the only place that he had scars,
but they were quite noticeable, which actually helped the two viscets,
believe it or not. It made him look more threatening, which tended to
make others a bit more wary around Declan and Animus. So for their
lifestyle, it actually helped them for the better. Despite everything,
Animus felt better having Declan around, as they'd become friends.

❝Hurry up, Monty! You're taking too long!❞

The slightly larger, female viscet stood a bit inside of the ruin, looking back as her friend hurried up the steps to catch up with her, the scarf on his tail flailing in the wind. ❝I'm coming!❞ he called, and she turned away as he neared, beginning to walk deeper into the ruin.

April and Montezuma were explorers, and they loved to do what they did. The excitement of discovery, curiosity, and the wonderful mystery that came with every ruin were the best feelings in their opinion, and they'd been doing this for a while. The hype of a new ruin would never cease to get them pumped.

This particular ruin had taken a while to get to. It was hot outside and the path from the nearby town and the ruin was long, and it had taken them a while to get there. They had started to get exhausted, but the sight of the fruits of their labor was more than enough to put the pep back in their step. And there they were, looking into the slightly dark interior. The first room was empty and weathered, holes poking in all of the walls and they looked ready to collapse at any moment. Spanish moss hung from the openings, draping down til they brushed the ground, and a few thin vines hung from the ceiling. April grinned, noticing an opening. A stairway!

Monty had barely caught up before she started towards the opening, hurrying to the steps and starting carefully, testing her weight, before rushing down. It led to a much larger open area inside, illuminated by a huge hole in the top. ❝Monty! Monty, hurry up!❞ she cried in excitement, hurrying to check out the markings on one of the columns that held the ceiling of the huge room up. Signs of weathering were still here, but not as bad as upstairs, and she was utterly excited. Her dark brown eyes flickered over when she heard Monty's footsteps, the young orange viscet checking out the other side. ❝Anything over there?❞

❝Not really. I mean..whoa, this is cool.❞

Her attention was caught by this and she wasted no time crossing the bridge, slowing when one of the carved stones trembled beneath her weight, to check out just exactly what Monty was talking about. ❝Oh...wow. That's...that's really cool,❞ she murmured. On the far side of the wall was a huge mural, depicting humans and viscets alike, standing side-by-side or in battle. The sight was breathtaking and she grinned widely. This is what they did this for. She...she loved this. ❝This is a piece of history! How amazing is that?❞ she murmured, looking over at Monty, who had a similar expression on his face.

They stayed for quite a while. The ruin had its number of discoveries to make along with the mural, and finally, the only reason they began to leave was because the sun would be setting soon and they did not want to be in the area while it was night; it was quite dangerous.

April was on the far side of the bridge, studying the mural for the last time that day, before she raised up and sighed. ❝Aw, man, I'm gonna miss this,❞ she mumbled, looking up to where Monty was waiting near the foot of the stairway. She began to head in that direction, a bit carelessly -- over the bridge. The rock she had stepped on before wobbled again.

Beneath her, she heard a rumble, and then the bridge began to fall away beneath her.

Her reflexes probably saved her life. The tip of her paws caught the edge of the cliff that dropped off into much deeper areas of the ruin, and she heard a crash far beneath her as she held on for dear life. She also heard a cry of her name in a familiar voice, but fear had tied a knot in her throat and closed her muzzle. Her eyes were wide with shock and it took her a moment to register what really happened before she tried to pull herself up some. She felt numb and her vision was slightly blurred.

Monty had already raced over to help her up, pulling her safely away from the fragile edge. ❝Oh god, April, are you okay? April! You're bleeding, and-- and your eye!❞

April looked up numbly at Monty. She still felt numb and could feel her heart frantically beating. She was exhausted, she noticed. She stared blankly at Montezuma for a few moments before her eyes rolled back and she slumped, unconscious.

--

She woke up in the village infirmary a bit later that night with a bandage over her head. Montezuma was nearby, asleep, and there was a light on a stand next to her. April noticed her left eye was covered, and it stung slightly. Her whole body ached and she felt tired still, but reached over to the stand near her; on it was a mirror.

Picking it up, she gazed at herself as memories returned. She was wearing white bandages, stained rust-colored with dried blood, over the left side of her face. The black viscet knew she shouldn't, but she reached up, pulling at the bandages with her claws to remove it. As they fell away, she noticed she could see from her left eye, but everything was blurred and the light from the lamp hurt. That was most likely because she hadn't adjusted yet, though. What caught her eye (her good one) were the deep cuts, no longer bleeding and stitched, on the side. She didn't know exactly what caused them; after all, even her memories were blurry with the adrenaline that had been coursing through her. It was likely through falling rubble and rocks, though.

April put down the mirror and carefully wrapped the bandage again, but as she did so, she was not frowning -- no, she was smiling. Those scars, to her, were not liabilities. She would wear them...proudly, yes. They were her badge as an explorer. And they showed what extents she was willing to go to for the sake of discovery.

These were scars she would never hide.

The Black Viscet turned as he heard the paws ap-
proach lifting his head he stretched slightly trying
to work out the kinks from the odd angle he slept
at "What you doing, Rouge?" the she wolf asked as
she sat across from the male. He tilted his head.
“Dreaming." He answered as he lay back down rest-
ing his head on his paws, he felt the sting of the
sun on his damaged eye though he could still see out
of it the eye was sensitive and he closed it blocking
out the harsh light. The she wolf looked at him “you
know I never asked how you got your scar’s you been
with us for a month now, yet you never speak about
them” she said nodding at the scars which lined his
body. He smiled slightly a crooked grin which flashed
the tips of canines “these there nothing bad or hor-
rible. I’m actually quite proud of them myself; proves
I can tangle with the best of them “he said and sat up
again showing the full extent of the marks a long scar
ran the length of his side and small scars marked his
chest. She looked at him “you’re proud of these” she
said wrinkling her muzzle slightly gold earring’s shining
in the setting sun. Rouge laughed “it’s a hazard of the
seas when you been in the game as long as I have you
gain scars “he said turning his head to show the scars
beside his eye’s “though this one has another story “he
said and sighed deeply.
The dreams they came again that night the shout’s
from the human’s the crash of the thunder and
sounds of tearing wood and fabric as the mast and
sail’s came crashing down on to the deck. He could
hear the men shouting for help as they were swept
away by the waves the lightning that lit the sky
showed the destruction of the ship he had been a-
board a skeleton of a once glories flag ship know
lay in ruins torn apart by this freak storm.
He held on to the plank he had managed to secure
a grip on, waves rolled him from side to side and
he lay his head ready to accept the fate which a-
waited him. He didn’t know how long he drifted
but the sound of a ship cutting the water made
him raise his tired head his muscles ached and he
was thirsty the moon light cast eerie shadows of
the ship made him instantly think death had come
for him sails billowed in the dying storm and the
sounds of yelling from aboard the deck sounding
like dying screams to his tired mind. A splash
from beside him meant someone was in the water
a voice had him bristling slightly he couldn’t under-
stand their words, but something told him they
were trying to help. He felt himself drift back off
as darkness consumed him again.
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Rouge turned his head to look back once more
at the shore the place he had called his home
before that terrible day which had left him
with the scars which coursed him the grief the
one’s which always reminded him of why he had
joined his crew, He sighed deeply the sound of
his name being shouted had him turning towards
the new group of human’s who had taken him in,
the dumb she wolf who also called this crew her
pack stood waiting for him. He shook his head
and followed wondering why he even stuck with
them aboard this floating plank of wood but it
was because of these humans he was still alive.

His other crew had been wiped out during a storm
this crew having saved him before he to sank to
greet Davy Jones and The Crew of the Flying Dutch-
man.
She tilted her head know the sound
of the wave’s as they lapped at the ship which
was moored against the shore the crew having
departed to gain supplies was the only sound
heard by the young wolf and the older Viscet as
they waited on the bank “this was the scar which
made me join my crew “he said lifting a paw to
cover his eye “ the first human I was with was
killed why I was still a pup there was nothing I
could do to help at that time but I vowed it
would never happened again “he said and looked
at the she wolf the salty air becoming slightly chil-
ly as the sun begin to set the sound of the crew
approaching had him standing the young she wolf
shaking of her fur as she stood up a soft hand
from the Caption greeted them both before they
boarded the ship leaving the Viscet on the bank.

Rouge’s first scars came from trying to protect his first master from a gang of thieves, the pup unable to help was left with this constant reminder of his inability to help even the one he loves. Wearing the scar as a consent reminder he refuses to keep it hidden.

Why did he join a gang of pirates, you ask? Well, the simple answer is that he was rescued by his first crew from a fate worse than death. Being sold on the black market he could have ended up anywhere and unable to see out of his injured eye for a time and because of his unattractive colour he was passed from place to place. The Crew took in the injured and partially blinded Viscet healing all his visible wounds he was only left the distrusted of the human’s outside of his crew.

The new scars come from protecting this knew family. A long cut along his side and multiple small scars on his chest show from the fight’s he has been in during both land and sea fights. Growing stronger from training he vowed to never let anyone die why he was capable of protecting them.

A freak storm some years after made the feeling of loneliness and regret resurface when he was the only survivor of this one glories ship and crew. Though not all his scars could be healed most could with a little time.

(please don't take these ideas, well besides being blind thats up for everyone)

On a dark gloomy day rain hits the cold hard dirt ground. Some might say this is peaceful weather, some might say its horrible weather. But for Bandit, he could care less. He layed on the icy cold ground feeling the rain drops him his pelt. His one eye closed as for the other eye he cannot do anything with it. It always stayed open. He layed the deep in thought not knowing what to do anymore, he had lost everything he loved. Images flash through his mind replay the tragic memory. WIP
